TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a rail bond terminal welding jig and a rail bond terminal welding method capable of reliably welding to a rail so that the rail bond terminal does not peel off or fall off.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, copper thermite welding method has been introduced for mounting rail bond terminals and the like on conventional rails (normal rails, heat treated rails).
This copper thermite welding method is a welding method applying a thermochemical reaction (thermit reaction), and is based on the principle that copper oxide and aluminum powder (copper thermite agent) are placed in a crucible 11 shown in FIG. The heat generated by the combustion is used to weld the rail bond terminal 12 shown in FIGS. 9 and 10 to the neck 13a of the rail 13 (FIG. 11).
9 and 10, the shape of the rail bond terminal 12 which is fixed by crimping (15) to the tip of the conventional rail bond 14 is a semicircular shape, and the constricted trunk portion 13a of the rail 13 is formed. The left or right side jig for welding the rail bond terminal 12 to the left or right side surface is required.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, according to such a copper thermite welding method, it is crimped (15) to the tip of the rail bond 14 through the semicircular cutout 11b to the copper welded portion 11a in the crucible 11 constituting the jig 10. When the end of the semicircular rail bond terminal 12 is inserted and the copper thermite agent is ignited upward, the copper melts, passes through the runner 11c, and the end of the rail bond terminal 12 becomes the rail 13 at the copper welded portion 11a. However, if the end of the rail bond terminal 12 is not sufficiently inserted and stops near the entrance of the copper welded portion 11a, the rail bond terminal 12 is hard to be reliably welded to the rail 13 in a sufficient state. In addition, if the end of the rail bond terminal 12 is inserted deep into the copper welded portion 11a, the end of the rail bond terminal 12 is in a sufficient state on the rail 13. There is a problem that becomes difficult to reliably welded rail bond terminal 12 is peeled from the rail 13, there is a risk of falling off.
In addition, it is inconvenient to use the left or right jig for welding the rail bond terminal 12 on the left or right side of the constricted body portion 13a of the rail 13 each time to replace and use the jig. However, there were problems such as an increase in cost.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A rail bonding terminal welding jig according to the present invention has an object to solve the above-mentioned problem, and has a rail which can be inserted into a copper welded portion in a crucible along a left side surface or a right side surface of a rail from a left side or a right side. Welding repair of a rail bond terminal that has a predetermined length fixed to the tip of the bond and that can be welded to the left side or right side of the rail, with the cylindrical rail bond terminal having a weld formed almost in the middle. When welding the cylindrical rail bond terminal to the rail, the welded portion of the cylindrical rail bond terminal is matched with the copper welded portion, and when the copper thermite is ignited upward, the copper melts and the runner And a welded portion of the cylindrical rail bond terminal is welded to a left side surface or a right side surface of the rail at the copper welded portion.
[0005]
Further, the method for welding a rail bond terminal of the present invention includes the step of forming a cylindrical rail bond terminal having a predetermined length fixed to the tip of the rail bond and having a welded portion substantially at the middle thereof on the left side surface of the rail or Insert the copper rail in the crucible along the right side into the copper weld, and when welding this cylindrical rail bond terminal to the rail, after aligning the weld of the cylindrical rail bond terminal with the copper weld, The copper thermite agent is ignited, and the welded portion of the cylindrical rail bond terminal is welded to the left side surface or the right side surface of the rail at the copper welding portion.
[0006]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of a rail bond terminal welding jig and a rail bond terminal welding method according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

[0007]
1 to 3, reference numeral 1 denotes a rail bond (a plurality of bundled electric wires), and a tip of the rail bond 1 is used for a rail bond terminal welding jig and a rail bond terminal welding method according to the present invention. The cylindrical rail bond terminal 2 is fixed by caulking 2a on the peripheral surface. The cylindrical rail bond terminal 2 has a predetermined length, and a weld 2b is formed substantially in the middle. The caulking 2a is provided on the peripheral surface of the part opposite to the tip.
As described above, since the caulking 2a is applied to a portion opposite to the tip of the cylindrical rail bond terminal 2 (near the fragile portion), even if a load is applied to the rail bond 1, the caulking 2a is used for welding. Since no direct force is applied to the rail bond 1a located at the welded portion 2b which is sometimes affected by heat at a high temperature, the breakage of the rail bond 1a is prevented.
[0008]
FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing an example of the crucible 4 constituting the rail bond terminal welding jig 3 according to the present invention. The welding jig 3 of the rail bond terminal employs a copper thermite welding method for adapting to the rail bond terminal 2.
The crucible 4 has a runner 5, a copper welded portion 6 connected to the runner 5, and a semicircular cut formed in the lower width direction of the crucible 4 connected to both sides with the copper welded portion 6 in the middle. 7.
[0009]
Next, when the cylindrical rail bond terminal 2 is welded to the left side surface of the constricted body portion 8a of the rail 8 (for example, a normal rail or a heat-treated rail) using the rail bond terminal welding jig 3 according to the present invention. (FIG. 5) will be described.
[0010]
First, the inside of the crucible 4 is heated by a gas burner.
Next, the rail 8 is preheated.
Next, the welded portion of the rail bond terminal 2 in the constricted body 8a of the rail 8 is heated by the gas burner.
Next, the crucible 4 is placed on the rail 8, a handle (not shown) is opened, and a bond fitting (not shown) is placed on the rail head 8b to perform temporary mounting.
[0011]
Next, the rail bond terminal 2 is inserted into the semicircular cut 7 of the crucible 4 along the surface of the constricted body 8a of the rail 8, and the welded portion 2b formed almost at the center of the rail bond terminal 2 is copper-welded. Stop according to the position of the part 6.
Here, the handle (not shown) is closed and firmly fixed to the rail 8, and the rail 8 and the crucible 4 are securely mounted without any gap or play.
In this state, a steel disc is set upward from above the crucible 4 in the middle of the crucible 4, that is, above the runner 5, and a copper thermite is charged.
[0012]
When the igniter is further charged and ignited with a lighter having a long handle, the copper thermite agent reacts almost simultaneously with the ignition and burns for several seconds, and then the molten copper falls into the copper welding portion 6 through the runner 5. Then, the welded portion 2b of the rail bond terminal 2 is reliably welded to the constricted body portion 8a of the rail 8 by the molten copper (welded portion 9 in FIG. 7).
In the welded portion 2b of the rail bond terminal 2, a circumferential space 2bb having a small gap is provided around the small-diameter rail bond 1a as shown in FIGS. The molten copper melts the copper in the welded portion 2b, and this copper is easily melted into the rail bond 1a located at the position of the welded portion 2b and having a reduced diameter.
[0013]
Thereafter, when the red light emission of the molten copper disappears, the handle (not shown) is sufficiently opened, and the bond attachment is lifted and removed, and the slag attached to the constricted body portion 8a of the rail 8 is removed using a hand hammer or a rag. Then, the upper surface of the welded portion 2b of the rail bond terminal 2 is patted lightly with a hand hammer to confirm that the welded portion does not peel or fall off.
[0014]
FIG. 6 is a side view showing a state in which the rail bond terminal 2 is welded to the right surface of the constricted body 8a of the rail 8. In this case as well, the rail bond terminal 2 is connected to the constricted body 8a of the rail 8. The same jig 3 as in the case of welding to the left side of FIG. Since the operation and effect are the same, the description is omitted.
[0015]
According to the rail bond terminal welding jig and the rail bond terminal welding method according to the present invention, when welding to the left surface or the right surface of the constricted body portion 8a of the rail 8, it is for the left side or the right side, respectively. A welding operation can be easily performed using the same jig 3 without replacing the jig with a dedicated jig.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, as described in detail above, the rail bond terminal welding jig can be inserted from the left or right into the copper welded portion in the crucible along the left side or right side of the rail. A jig for a rail-bonded terminal having a cylindrical rail-bonded terminal having a predetermined length fixed to the rail and having a weld portion formed substantially in the middle thereof, capable of being welded to the left side surface or the right side surface of the rail. When welding the cylindrical rail bond terminal to the rail, the welded portion of the cylindrical rail bond terminal is made to coincide with the copper welded portion, and when the copper thermite is ignited upward, the copper melts and passes through the runner. Since the welded portion of the cylindrical rail bond terminal was welded to the left side or right side of the rail at the copper weld, the same jig was used without using the left or right dedicated jig respectively. use The effect of such a cylindrical rail bond terminals can be reliably welded to conveniently left side or right side of the rail Te.
[0017]
Further, the method for welding a rail bond terminal of the present invention includes the step of forming a cylindrical rail bond terminal having a predetermined length fixed to the tip of the rail bond and having a welded portion substantially at the middle thereof on the left side surface of the rail or Insert the copper rail in the crucible along the right side into the copper weld, and when welding this cylindrical rail bond terminal to the rail, after aligning the weld of the cylindrical rail bond terminal with the copper weld, Since the copper thermite was ignited and the weld of the cylindrical rail bond terminal was welded to the left side or right side of the rail at the copper weld, the cylindrical rail bond terminal was placed at the position of the copper weld. Since it can be freely inserted from the left and right, there are effects such as good workability and cost reduction.
