【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、テーブルを構成する天板の略中央に収納スペースを有し、かつ脚柱によって着席場所が制限されることがない多目的テーブルに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、天板と脚柱とから構成されるテーブルにおいて、天板が中央に開口部を有し、かつかかる開口部を覆うように天板の下面に箱体が取り付けられてなるテーブルが開発されている。これにより、コンロ等の加熱手段をテーブルに載置する際、加熱手段は箱体に収納し得るため、加熱手段の上面を天板の上面と同一高さにすることができた。このため、かかるテーブルは、天板に加熱手段を載置しても加熱手段の高さが気になることがなく、バーベキュー等に好ましく用いることができた。

また、上記テーブルにおいて、箱体と脚柱とが折り畳み可能に天板に取り付けられてなるテーブルも開発されている（特開平７−２８４４１３号公報）。これにより、かかるテーブルは持ち運びに便利で、野外バーベキューや野外キャンプ等に好ましく用いることができた。

しかしながら、上記従来のテーブルにおいては、脚柱が天板の四隅に設けられて構成されるため、天板の四隅付近の着席者は、かかる脚柱が邪魔になって足を伸ばすことができなかった。したがって、脚柱が設けられる天板付近には座席スペースを確保することができず、テーブルの全ての周縁を有効に利用して、着席者の人数に応じて座席スペースを均等に割り振ることができなかった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明の目的は、持ち運びが容易で、野外で好ましく用いることができ、コンロ等を載置してもその高さが気にならず、また着席者に均等な座席スペースを確保し得る多目的テーブルを提供することにある。

【発明を解決するための手段】
本発明にかかる多目的テーブルの要旨とするところは、天板の中央部を１の脚柱で支持してなるテーブルであって、前記天板が前記中央部に開口孔を有し、かつ前記脚柱が、前記開口孔の周縁部に接続されて立ち下がる周面を備えた筒状部を有し、前記筒状部の中空部が収納スペースとして利用可能なことにある。

また、本発明にかかる多目的テーブルにおいて、前記中空部を上下に仕切る仕切り板を備えることにある。

かかる構成により、本発明にかかるテーブルは、天板の略中央にあって、天板の上面より下方に収納スペースを有することとなるだけでなく、脚柱が着席者の足の置き場を邪魔することがない。

また、本発明にかかる多目的テーブルにおいて、前記仕切り板を着脱自在に係止する係止手段が、前記筒状部の内周面にあって前記筒状部の長手方向に１または多段に設けられ、前記仕切り板の係止位置が選択可能とされたことにある。

【発明の実施の態様】
本発明にかかる多目的テーブルの態様を図面に従って以下に詳しく説明する。

図１に従えば、本発明の多目的テーブル１０は、開口孔３０を有する六角形状の木製の天板３４と、幅Ｗおよび高さＨが各々同一の６枚の木製の板状部材１４を結合して、筒状部２２を形成する脚柱１８と、筒状部２２の中空部２６を上下に仕切る木製の仕切り板３８とから構成される。ここにおいて、脚柱１８は、中空部２６が開口孔３０に導通するように筒状部２２を開口孔３０の周縁部３２に接続して天板３４に取り付けられる。

第２の係止手段４６は、筒状部２２の長手方向に多段に設けられることが好ましい。かかる構成により、仕切り板３８は第２の係止手段４６により係止位置を選択することが可能となるため、本発明にかかるテーブル１０は、高さの異なる種々の物品をテーブル１０に収納する場合であっても、収納される物品に応じてその上面を天板３４の上面と同一高さに調整することができる。

本発明の多目的テーブル１０が備える脚柱１８は、図３に示すように、６枚の板状部材１４をそれぞれヒンジ５０で結合して形成される。ここで、かかる板状部材１４は、幅Ｗを３０〜４０ｃｍ、高さＨを２５〜３５ｃｍとすることが好ましい（図１）。本発明のテーブル１０の脚柱１８をかかる幅の板状部材１４から構成することにより、本発明のテーブル１０が横転することを防止し得るだけでなく、脚柱１８の持ち運び容易性を保持しつつも、中空部２６にコンロ等の種々の物品を収容し得ることとなる。また、本発明のテーブル１０の脚柱１８をかかる高さの板状部材１４から構成することにより、着席者は、テーブル１０の設置面と同一面に腰をおろしても、天板３４の位置が着席者のみぞおち辺りにくることとなる。このため、本発明のテーブル１０を野外で使用する際、別個に椅子を用意する手間を省くことができる。

また、かかる板状部材１４をそれぞれヒンジ５０で結合することにより、本発明の多目的テーブル１０の脚柱１８は、図４に示すように、テーブル１０の収納時において潰れた筒状に変形することができる。したがって、本発明にかかる脚柱１８は、収納時にかさ張ることがなく、野外への持ち運びがより一層容易になる。

なお、脚柱１８を潰れた筒状に変形した場合において、第２の係止手段４６がかさ張ることを防ぐために、第２の係止手段４６は、図５（ａ）に示すように、ヒンジ４４によって引き倒し可能となっていることが好ましい。あるいは、脚柱１８を潰れた筒状に折り畳んだ際に第２の係止手段４６を挿入しうるように、各板状部材１４には、各第２の係止手段４６が当接する位置に受孔２８が形成されることが好ましい。このためには、例えば図５（ｂ）に示すように、第２の係止手段４６を設ける位置を、すべての板状部材１４について同じ高さｄ１とし、かつ筒状部２２の内側から見て右側の辺から第２の係止手段４６に至る距離を同じ値ｄ２とし、また受孔２８を設ける位置を、すべての板状部材１４について第２の係止手段４６と同じ高さｄ１とし、かつ筒状部２２の内側からみて左側の辺から受穴２８に至る距離を前記値ｄ２に等しくすればよい。

本発明の多目的テーブル１０が備える天板３４は、一辺が６５〜７５ｃｍの正六角形状の部材から構成されることが好ましい。また、天板３４は、図６にも示すように、天板３４を二分してなる一対の分割片５４から形成され、かつ各分割片５４の辺どうしを対向させてヒンジ５６で連結して構成される。

本発明のテーブル１０の天板３４をかかる大きさから構成することにより、天板３４の野外への持ち運び容易性を確保しつつも、各辺に一人づつ人を配した際に各着席者が手狭感を覚えることを防ぐことができる。

本発明の多目的テーブル１０が備える脚柱１８、天板３４および仕切り板３８は、その厚みを２ｃｍ程度とすることが好ましい。これにより、天板３４に大きな荷重をかけてもテーブル１０が変形することを防いで、テーブル１０としての機能を保持しつつも、テーブル１０自体の重量を極力軽くすることができる。

本発明の多目的テーブル１０は、筒状部２２の内周面、および仕切り板３８の少なくとも一方の面に断熱材を配した後、さらにその断熱材の外表面に金属板を積層して、脚柱１８に形成される収納スペースの表面を耐熱構造とすることが好ましい。これにより、脚柱１８の中空部２６にコンロ等の加熱手段を収納しても、板状部材１４、および仕切り板３８が焼失することを防ぐことができる。

図７に従えば、本発明の多目的テーブル１０は、先の第１実施形態において、係止手段が脚柱１８の上端側壁に設けられずに、上端に凸部６２が形成されて構成されている。かかる脚柱１８への天板３４の取り付けは、天板３４を脚柱１８の上端に載置しつつ、天板３４の内周縁に設けられた凹部６６に凸部６２を嵌合させて、天板３４を脚柱１８に固定することにより行う。かかる構成により、本発明のテーブル１０は、脚柱１８を潰れた筒状にした際に、係止手段が脚柱１８の外表面から突き出ることがない。このため、脚柱１８の収納時において、係止手段が邪魔になることを防止することができる。

また、図８に従えば、本発明の多目的テーブル１０は、先の第１実施形態において、係止手段が脚柱１８の上端側壁に設けられずに、脚柱１８が上端断面の狭まった角柱から構成されている。ここにおいて、かかる脚柱１８の上端開口部７０の外径は天板３４の開口孔３０よりも小さく、一方、下端開口部７４の外径は天板３４の開口孔３０よりも大きく設定される。したがって、第３実施形態において、本発明のテーブル１０は、脚柱１８の側壁７８そのものが第１の係止手段４２としての機能を有することとなる。かかる脚柱１８への天板３４の取り付けは、天板３４の開口孔３０に脚柱１８を挿通して、脚柱１８の外径が天板３４の開口孔３０と同一となる位置まで天板３４を押し下げることにより行う。なお、脚柱１８がかかる形状から構成される場合、脚柱１８を構成する板状部材１４は、その全てが着脱可能に結合されていることが好ましい。かかる構成により、脚柱１８を板状部材１４の積層体にして収納することが可能となる。
