r(t):受信信号
ri(l):受信信号、
E[ ]:期待値

【0004】

このとき、Sl(ω)の実数部ln|S(ω)|はSl(ω)の偶成分であり、Sl(ω)の虚数部arg[S(ω)]はSl(ω)の奇成分となる。

このとき、Sl(k)の実数部ln|S(k)|はSl(k)の偶成分であり、Sl(k)の虚数部arg[S(k)]はSl(k)の奇成分となる。

このとき、Tl(ω)の実数部ln|T(ω)|はTl(ω)の偶成分であり、Tl(ω)の虚数部arg[T(ω)]はTl(ω)の奇成分となる。

<Conventional delay profile measuring method, cancel residual complex impulse response (delay profile) estimating method of filter tap coefficient value calculating unit of feedforward type loop canceller, and filter tap coefficient value calculation of feedforward type adaptive channel equalizer Estimation method of complex residual impulse response (delay profile) of cancel unit> Complex impulse response (delay profile) measurement method of OFDM signal, cancel residual complex impulse response (delay profile) of filter tap coefficient value calculation unit of feed-forward wraparound canceller As the estimation method and the cancellation residual complex impulse response (delay profile) estimation method of the filter tap coefficient value calculation unit of the feedforward type transmission line adaptive equalizer, the following four methods [A1] to [A4] are used. There is.
[A1: Known Signal Correlation Method] A method of calculating a correlation between a received signal and a test signal using a predetermined known test signal as a transmission signal (FIG. 24).
[A2: SP Method] An SP signal (scattered pilot signal) is inserted into a predetermined carrier position of a transmission signal, an SP signal of a reception signal is extracted, and a transfer function is calculated using the SP signal. A method of performing an inverse discrete Fourier transform on the transferred transfer function (FIG. 25).
[A3: Autocorrelation method] A method of holding a received signal as a time signal for a certain period of time and obtaining a correlation between the held signal and the received signal (FIG. 26).
[A4: FFT Method] A method of performing an inverse Fourier transform on the energy spectrum of a received signal averaged over time (FIG. 27).
[0003]
First, the known signal correlation method of [A1] will be described. The delay profile calculated by the known signal correlation method is given by equation (1).
(Equation 1)
However,
y (t): the same template signal as a part of the known test signal,
r (t): received signal
And In this specification, the superscript “*” indicates a complex conjugate. Also, Re [f ()] (f () is an arbitrary signal) means a real part of f (), and Im [f ()] means an imaginary part of f (). . Usually, a pseudo noise sequence (PN sequence) is used as the predetermined known test signal x (t) used in the known signal correlation method. In many cases, the period of the PN sequence is set to be about twice the expected maximum delay time of a delayed wave such as a multipath and wraparound. Also, theoretically, the equation (1) that gives the complex impulse response (delay profile) s (t) is the integration of the infinite section in the continuous time t, but the calculation of the actual complex impulse response (delay profile) is shown in FIG. Is calculated as the expected value of the sum of the finite sections in the discrete time n as given by the following equation (2).
(Equation 2)
However,
y (n): the same template signal as a part of the known test signal,
r i (L): received signal,
E []: Expected value
And
[0004]
Next, the SP method of [A2] will be described. In the SP method, for example, an SP signal (Scattered Pilot Signal) or a CP signal (Continuous Pilot Signal) inserted in an OFDM signal of a terrestrial digital broadcasting system in the frequency direction and the time direction as an amplitude and phase reference at the time of synchronous demodulation. This is a method of estimating a transfer function of a transmission path using a signal and performing an inverse discrete Fourier transform on the transfer function of the estimated transmission path to measure a complex impulse response (delay profile). Specifically, in the delay
[Equation 3]
A complex impulse response (delay profile) s (n) is obtained by performing an inverse discrete Fourier transform on the transfer function S (k) of this transmission path as shown in equation (4).
(Equation 4)
Here, in order to extract the complex spectrum R (k) of the received signal at the position of the SP signal and the CP signal, the sampling rate (512/63 [MHz] in digital terrestrial broadcasting) is transmitted when demodulating the OFDM time signal. Frequency synchronization and phase synchronization are established, the position of the time window (FFT time window) of the discrete Fourier transform is appropriately set, the effective symbols are cut out appropriately, and the orthogonality between subcarriers is set. It is assumed that the OFDM demodulation is ensured and appropriate OFDM demodulation is performed.
[0005]
Next, the autocorrelation method of [A3] will be described. In the autocorrelation method, a fixed section of a received OFDM time signal is cut out and held, and a correlation is made between the held OFDM time signal and the received OFDM time signal to obtain a complex impulse response (strictly speaking, an autocorrelation value). ) This is a method of performing measurement. Specifically, in the delay profile measurement device 174 shown in FIG. i (N) and r i A signal obtained by cutting a part of (n) for the holding period L is represented by y i When (n), the correlation value s (n) is given by the following equation (5):
(Equation 5)
Is obtained by Since the autocorrelation method described above does not require OFDM demodulation, it has the following four advantages.
[1] Since all processing is performed in the time domain, there is no need for Fourier transform.
[2] It is not necessary to match the sampling rate of the time signal with that of the transmitting side.
[3] It is not necessary to synchronize symbols (however, the correlation length L is set to the effective symbol length at the longest so as not to detect a correlation value corresponding to the guard interval part).
[4] No need for frequency synchronization (AFC), phase synchronization (APC), etc.
[0006]
Next, the FFT method of [A4] will be described. In the FFT method, when the received OFDM signal is only the desired wave, the average value of the spectrum becomes flat within the signal band, and when the received OFDM signal includes a delayed wave or a wraparound wave in addition to the desired wave, the delay time becomes longer. Using the fact that a ripple corresponding to the intensity occurs at a corresponding cycle, an autocorrelation value is obtained by performing an inverse discrete Fourier transform on the energy spectrum. More specifically, in delay profile measuring apparatus 176 shown in FIG. i (K) | (where 0 ≦ k ≦ N−1) and the average value (expected value) is | S (k) |, the averaged energy spectrum is | S (k) | 2 And this energy spectrum | S (k) | 2 Is subjected to inverse discrete Fourier transform as shown in equation (6) to obtain a complex impulse response (strictly, an autocorrelation value).
(Equation 6)
The FFT method described above does not require OFDM demodulation like the autocorrelation method, and therefore has the following four advantages.
[1] No orthogonal demodulation is required.
[2] It is not necessary to match the sampling rate of the time signal with that of the transmitting side.
[3] There is no need for symbol synchronization.
[4] No need for frequency synchronization (AFC), phase synchronization (APC), etc.

Similar to the cancellation residual complex impulse response (delay profile) estimation method, there are the following four methods [B1] to [B4].
[B1: Reciprocal Inverted Known Signal Correlation Method] A method in which a predetermined known test signal is used as a transmission signal, the correlation between the received signal and the test signal is calculated, and reciprocalized (Japanese Patent Application No. 2001-91739).
[B2: Inverted SP Method] An SP signal (Scattered Pilot Signal) is inserted into a predetermined carrier position of a transmission signal, an SP signal of a reception signal is extracted, and a transfer function is calculated using the SP signal. A method of performing an inverse Fourier transform on a transfer function obtained by inverting the obtained transfer function (FIG. 28) (Japanese Patent Application No. 2001-070777).
[B3: Reciprocal Autocorrelation Method] A method of holding a received signal as a time signal for a certain period of time, correlating the held signal with the received signal, and reciprocalizing the received signal (Japanese Patent Application No. 2001-91739).
[B4: Reciprocal FFT Method] A method of performing an inverse discrete Fourier transform on an energy spectrum obtained by reversing an energy spectrum of a received signal averaged over time (FIG. 29) (Japanese Patent Application No. 2001-070777).
[0008]
First, the reciprocal known signal correlation method of [B1] will be described. The complex impulse response (delay profile) calculated by the known signal correlation method is given by equation (1), and the calculation of the actual complex impulse response (delay profile) is performed by a finite interval in discrete time n as given by equation (2). Is calculated as the expected value of the sum of With respect to s (n) obtained by Expression (2), discrete Fourier transform is performed as shown in Expression (7) to obtain S (k),
(Equation 7)
This S (k) is subjected to reciprocal expression shown in Expression (8) to obtain T (k).
(Equation 8)
By performing an inverse discrete Fourier transform on this T (k) as in equation (9),
(Equation 9)
Obtain the inverse complex impulse response (delay profile) t (n). However, the coefficient A in the equation (8) is a correction coefficient, and is set to perform level adjustment of the reciprocal complex impulse response (delay profile) calculation result.
[0009]
Next, the reciprocal SP method of [B2] will be described. In the delay
(Equation 10)
Of course, the following equation (11):
[Equation 11]
It is also possible to directly obtain the (complex) reciprocalized transfer function T (k), and this requires less computational complexity and circuit scale. This T (k) is subjected to inverse discrete Fourier transform as shown in Expression (12) to obtain a reciprocal complex impulse response (delay profile) t (n).
(Equation 12)
Here, similarly to the SP method, for extracting the complex spectrum R (k) of the received signal at the position of the SP signal and the CP signal, the sampling rate (512/63 [512 terrestrial digital broadcasting] MHz] is the same as or multiplied by the transmission side, frequency synchronization and phase synchronization are established, and the position of the time window (FFT time window) of the discrete Fourier transform is appropriately set, and the effective symbol is appropriately cut out. It is assumed that orthogonality between subcarriers is ensured and appropriate OFDM demodulation is performed.
[0010]
Next, the reciprocal autocorrelation method of [B3] will be described. The autocorrelation value s (n) obtained by equation (5) in the autocorrelation method is subjected to discrete Fourier transform as shown in equation (13) to calculate S (k). After T (k) is obtained by performing reciprocal calculation shown in 14), inverse reciprocal Fourier transform is performed as shown in Expression (15) to obtain a reciprocalized complex impulse response (delay profile) t (n). . However, the coefficient A in the equation (14) is a correction coefficient, and is set to adjust the level of the calculation result of the complex impulse response (strictly, the reciprocal autocorrelation value).
(Equation 13)
[Equation 14]
[Equation 15]
The reciprocal autocorrelation method described above has the following three advantages [1] to [3].
[1] It is not necessary to match the sampling rate of the time signal with the transmitting side.
[2] It is not necessary to synchronize the symbols (however, the correlation length L is set to the effective symbol length at the longest so that the correlation value corresponding to the guard interval part is not detected).
[3] No need for frequency synchronization (AFC), phase synchronization (APC), etc.
[0011]
Next, the reciprocal FFT method of [B4] will be described. Similarly to the normal FFT method, when the received OFDM signal is only the desired signal in the reciprocal FFT method, the average value of the spectrum becomes flat within the signal band, and the received OFDM signal becomes a delayed wave or When a loopback wave is included, the autocorrelation value is obtained by performing an inverse discrete Fourier transform on the energy spectrum, utilizing the fact that a ripple corresponding to the intensity occurs at a cycle corresponding to the delay time. More specifically, in delay profile measuring apparatus 180 shown in FIG. i (K) | and the average value (expected value) is | S (k) |, the averaged energy spectrum is | S (k) | 2 And this energy spectrum | S (k) | 2 Is inversed as shown in the following equation (16) | T (k) | 2 After getting
(Equation 16)
By performing inverse discrete Fourier transform as shown in equation (17), a reciprocal complex impulse response (strictly, a reciprocal autocorrelation value) is obtained. However, the coefficient A in the equation (16) is a correction coefficient, and is set to adjust the level of the calculation result of the complex impulse response (strictly, the reciprocal autocorrelation value).
[Equation 17]
The reciprocal FFT method described above has the following four advantages [1] to [4].
[1] No orthogonal demodulation is required.
[2] It is not necessary to match the sampling rate of the time signal with that of the transmitting side.
[3] There is no need for symbol synchronization.
[4] No need for frequency synchronization (AFC), phase synchronization (APC), etc.
[0012]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
<Conventional complex impulse response (delay profile) measuring method, cancel residual complex impulse response (delay profile) estimating method of filter tap coefficient value calculating section of feedforward type wraparound canceller, and feedforward type transmission path adaptive equalizer Problems of Cancel Residual Complex Impulse Response (Delay Profile) Estimation Method of Filter Tap Coefficient Calculation Unit> However, in the above-described method of measuring a complex impulse response (delay profile) using the known signal correlation method, a known test is performed in advance. Since it is necessary to transmit a signal, it is necessary to stop the normal broadcast and communication, and to perform the measurement. Thus, there is a disadvantage that a complex impulse response (delay profile) cannot be measured during the broadcast and communication.
[0013]
In the above-described complex impulse response (delay profile) measurement method using the SP method, a complex impulse response (delay profile) measurement can be performed even during normal broadcasting and communication. For this purpose, an OFDM signal is demodulated. Need to do. That is, it is necessary to establish frequency synchronization and phase synchronization in order to perform demodulation, so that a frequency synchronization (AFC) circuit and a phase synchronization (APC) circuit are required. It is necessary to set the sampling rate to an appropriate value (for example, in the case of the terrestrial digital broadcasting system, a multiple of 512/63 [MHz]), and to appropriately cut out the effective symbols of the OFDM time signal. Therefore, it is necessary to set the number of FFT points according to the mode, and also to change the interval for extracting each effective symbol according to the guard interval length, and it is necessary to extract the SP signal from the received signal. there were. Further, in the case of a differential mode using the π / 4 shift DQPSK-OFDM system in which no SP signal is inserted, complex impulse response (delay profile) cannot be estimated, and another transfer function estimating method, complex There is a disadvantage that it is necessary to introduce an impulse response (delay profile) estimation method. Even if a transfer function estimating method and a complex impulse response (delay profile) estimating method in a differential mode using the π / 4 shift DQPSK-OFDM method are introduced, if hierarchical transmission is performed, It is necessary to switch the method of estimating the transfer function and the method of estimating the complex impulse response (delay profile) for each layer, and in addition, it is necessary for each layer to determine either the synchronous mode or the differential mode. there were. Further, for the reasons described above, there is a disadvantage that the amount of calculation and the circuit scale increase in order to cope with all cases.
[0014]
In addition, in the autocorrelation method described above, a complex impulse response (delay profile) can be estimated even during normal broadcasting and communication, and an OFDM signal can be handled as a time signal. This method can estimate the delay profile even in the case of the differential mode in which the scattered pilot is not inserted and the hierarchical transmission is performed. Since the autocorrelation value is calculated instead of the profile, a pseudo delay wave (a nonexistent delay wave) as shown in FIG. 23 is calculated in addition to the delay wave originally existing on the complex impulse response (delay profile). There was a problem of doing it.
[0015]
Also, the above-described method of estimating a complex impulse response (delay profile) using the FFT method can perform estimation of a complex impulse response (delay profile) even during normal broadcasting and communication, and even a spectrum of a signal band of an OFDM signal. As long as it is sufficient, all problems in the SP method are solved, and even in the case of the differential mode in which the scattered pilot is not inserted, even if hierarchical transmission is performed, the complex impulse response (Delay profile) It is a method that can estimate, but since the autocorrelation value is calculated instead of the original complex impulse response (delay profile), the delay wave other than the delay wave originally existing on the complex impulse response (delay profile) Another problem is that a pseudo delayed wave (a non-existent delayed wave) as shown in FIG. 23 is calculated. Was Tsu.
[0016]
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and does not use a known signal, does not use a scattered pilot or the like, and uses a sampling rate, a mode, a guard interval length, a synchronous mode and a differential mode. , A complex impulse response (delay profile) measuring method and a delay profile measuring apparatus which do not detect a pseudo delay wave (an extra non-existent delay wave) on a delay profile irrespective of hierarchical transmission, a feed-forward wraparound canceller, and a feed An object of the present invention is to provide a forward transmission line adaptive equalizer.
[0017]
Still another object of the present invention is to provide a delay profile measuring device, a feed-forward type loop-back canceller, and a feed-forward type transmission line adaptive equalizer that can reduce the circuit scale and cost.
[0018]
<Method of estimating cancel residual complex impulse response (delay profile) of filter tap coefficient value calculating section of conventional feedback type wraparound canceller, cancel residual complex impulse response of filter tap coefficient value calculating section of feedback transmission line adaptive equalizer (Delay Profile) Problem of Estimation Method> In the above-described method for measuring a complex impulse response (delay profile) using the inverse known signal correlation method, it is necessary to transmit a predetermined known test signal. It is necessary to stop broadcasting and communication, and there is a drawback that the inverse impulse complex impulse response (delay profile) cannot be estimated during broadcasting and communication.
[0019]
Further, in the complex impulse response (delay profile) estimation method using the above-described reciprocal SP method, a reciprocal complex impulse response (delay profile) can be performed even during normal broadcasting and communication. Needs to demodulate the OFDM signal. That is, it is necessary to establish frequency synchronization and phase synchronization in order to perform demodulation, so that a frequency synchronization (AFC) circuit and a phase synchronization (APC) circuit are required. Therefore, the sampling rate is set to an appropriate value (for example, in the case of the terrestrial digital broadcasting system, a multiple of 512/63 [MHz]), and the effective symbol of the OFDM time signal is appropriately extracted ( Since the position of the time window needs to be optimized), the number of FFT points must be set according to the mode, and the interval for cutting out each effective symbol needs to be changed according to the guard interval length. There is a disadvantage that signal extraction is required. Furthermore, in the case of a differential mode in which no SP signal is inserted, the method of estimating the reciprocal transfer function and estimating the reciprocal complex impulse response (delay profile) cannot be performed. There was the disadvantage that a complex impulse response (delay profile) had to be introduced. Even if a method for estimating a reciprocal transfer function and a method for estimating a reciprocal complex impulse response (delay profile) in a differential mode are introduced, if hierarchical transmission is performed, each layer is It is necessary to switch the method of estimating the reciprocal transfer function and the method of estimating the reciprocal complex impulse response (delay profile), and it is necessary for each layer to determine either the synchronous mode or the differential mode. There was a disadvantage that there was also. Further, for the reasons described above, there is a disadvantage that the amount of calculation and the circuit scale increase in order to cope with all cases.
[0020]
In addition, in the above-described reciprocal autocorrelation method, delay profile estimation can be performed even during normal broadcasting and communication, an OFDM signal can be handled as a time signal, and all problems in the SP method are solved. And even in the case of the differential mode in which the scattered pilot is not inserted, even if the hierarchical transmission is performed, it is a method capable of estimating the reciprocal delay profile. Since the reciprocal autocorrelation value is calculated instead of the complex impulse response (delay profile), in addition to the delay wave that originally exists on the complex impulse response (delay profile), a pseudo delay wave (a delay that does not exist) Wave).
[0021]
Also, the above-described complex impulse response (delay profile) estimating method using the reciprocal FFT method, a method for estimating a reciprocal transfer function even during normal broadcasting and communication, a reciprocal complex impulse response (Delay profile) Since it is sufficient that estimation can be performed and only the spectrum of the signal band of the OFDM signal is obtained, all the problems in the SP method are solved and in the case of the differential mode in which the scattered pilot is not inserted. This method is capable of estimating a reciprocal complex impulse response (delay profile) even if hierarchical transmission is performed. Since the calculated autocorrelation value is calculated in addition to the delay wave originally existing on the inversed delay profile, Giving rise to a problem that calculates a delay wave (nonexistent delayed wave).
[0022]
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and does not use a known signal, does not use a scattered pilot or the like, and uses a sampling rate, a mode, a guard interval length, a synchronous mode and a differential mode. Irrespective of the hierarchical transmission, the transfer function of the reciprocal transmission path, the transfer function of the reciprocal transmission path that does not detect the pseudo delay wave (non-existent delay wave) on the complex impulse response (delay profile), the complex impulse It is an object of the present invention to provide a response (delay profile) measuring method, a reciprocalized delay profile measuring device, a feedback wraparound canceller, and a feedback transmission line adaptive equalizer.
[0023]
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a delay profile measuring device, a feedback type wraparound canceller, and a canceller feedback type transmission line adaptive equalizer capable of reducing the circuit scale and cost.
[0024]
[Means for Solving the Problems]

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
<Delay profile measuring method and measuring device, and cancel residual complex impulse response (delay profile) estimating method of filter tap coefficient value calculating unit of feedforward type loop canceller, filter tap coefficient value of feedforward type transmission line equalizer Method for Estimating Cancel Residual Complex Impulse Response (Delay Profile) of Calculation Unit> Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 shows a first embodiment of the present invention. Prior to the description of FIG. 1, a method for obtaining a transfer function of a transmission path and a complex impulse response (delay profile) will be described. Let the transfer function of the transmission path be S (ω). At this time, S (ω) is expressed by the following equation (18) in rectangular coordinates, that is,
(Equation 18)
And in polar coordinates, the following equation (19):
[Equation 19]
And can be expressed. However,
(Equation 20)
(Equation 21)
It is. As described above, the transfer function S (ω) is generally obtained by using the SP signal or the like to obtain a complex impulse response (delay profile).
[0028]
The present invention cannot use a pilot signal such as a known signal or an SP signal and cannot directly obtain a transfer function, so that an accurate complex impulse response (delay profile) cannot be obtained. In a situation where only the autocorrelation value was obtained, a new minimum phase condition was newly introduced, so that an accurate transfer function (and a complex impulse response obtained by performing an inverse Fourier transform thereof) as in the known signal correlation method and the SP method. ) Technology. Here, the amplitude characteristic | S (ω) | of the transfer path transfer function (or | S (ω) | 2 ) Is obtained and the phase characteristic arg [S (ω)] of the transmission line is unknown. A method of obtaining the phase characteristic arg [S (ω)] of the transmission line will be considered. For this purpose, a complex natural logarithm on both sides of a transfer function S (ω) expressed in polar coordinates is expressed by the following equation (22). l Think about (ω).
(Equation 22)
At this time, S l The real part ln | S (ω) | of (ω) is S l (Ω), and S l The imaginary part arg [S (ω)] of (ω) is S l It becomes an odd component of (ω). S l The inverse discrete-time Fourier transform of (ω) is s l (N). s l When (n) is a real number, satisfies causality, and is stable, arg [S (ω)] is obtained from ln | S (ω) | by the following equation (23) according to the minimum phase condition:
(Equation 23)
Is obtained. Here, P represents Cauchy's principal value integral. Here, since S (ω) to be handled is stable, s l (N) simultaneously satisfies causality. That is, the phase characteristic arg [S (ω)] of the transfer path transfer function can be obtained from the amplitude characteristic | S (ω) | of the transfer path transfer function.
[0029]
Here, the minimum phase condition used when generating the phase characteristic from the amplitude characteristic will be described.
[0030]
Any impulse response w (n) is an even component w e (N) and odd component w o (N)
[Equation 24]
It can be expressed as. However,
(Equation 25)
It is. The relationship of Expression (24) is established by an arbitrary number sequence. Here, when w (n) is the impulse response of a system that actually exists, w (n) satisfies causality, e W (n) can be restored from (n) (and w (n) except when n = 0). o W (n) can be restored from (n). ). Hereinafter, this will be described. W (n) satisfying causality is

And
[Equation 28]
Holds. Therefore,
(Equation 29)
[Equation 30]
Holds. However,
(Equation 31)
And
(Equation 32)
It is.
[0031]
From equations (29) and (30), the Fourier transform of a sequence of real numbers that satisfies causality and is stable is represented by the real part Re [W (e j ω)] or the imaginary part Im [W (e j ω)] and the DC component w (0) are known, W (e j ω) is determined. That is, the real part Re [W (e j ω)] to the imaginary part Im [W (e j ω)] can be generated. this is,
[Equation 33]
And
[Equation 34]
It is clear from that.
[0032]
Let us proceed more generally. If w (n) satisfies causality and is stable, the real part Re [W (e j ω)] or the imaginary part Im [W (e j ω)] and the DC component w (0) are known, W (z) can be determined everywhere outside the unit circle (the convergence region of W (z)). Outside the unit circle, ie, z = re j Consider W (z) for ω, r> 1. in this case,
(Equation 35)
It is. Equation (35) is given by equation (29).
[Equation 36]
Can also be expressed. This is w e (N) · [u + (N) r -N ] Can be considered as the Fourier transform of W (e j ω) is w e (N) and [u + (N) r -N ] Can be obtained as a convolution of the Fourier transform. As shown in equation (33), w e The Fourier transform of (n) is Re [W (e j ω)], and if r> 1, [u + (N) r -N ] Is the Fourier transform
(37)
It is. Further, by using the complex convolution theorem, the following equation (38) is obtained.
[Equation 38]
Or
[Equation 39]
Can be expressed as Here, Re [W (e j ω)] is known, so in equations (38) and (39), C must be a unit circle. Equations (38) and (39) express W (z) outside the unit circle using the real part of W (z) on the unit circle. Here, to express the equation (39) as a line integral, v = e j The following equation is obtained as θ.
(Equation 40)
However,
(Equation 41)
(Equation 42)
And Function P r (Θ) and Q r (Θ) is called a Poisson nucleus or a conjugate Poisson nucleus, respectively. The following equation is obtained from the imaginary part of the equation (40).
[Equation 43]
[0033]
To obtain the relationship between the real part on the unit circle and the imaginary part on the unit circle,
[Equation 44]
In consideration of, when θ = 0, cot (θ / 2) becomes a singular point. Therefore, when formulaically interpreting to take the Cauchy principal value,
[Equation 45]
Get. Here, P indicates Cauchy's main value. Therefore, W (e j ω) real part Re [W (e j ω)] from the imaginary part Im [W (e j ω)] can be generated. Conversely, W (e j ω) of the imaginary part Im [W (e j ω)] and w (0), the real part Re [W (e j ω)] can also be generated. That is, if either the real part or the imaginary part is known, the remaining one can be generated. Such a relationship between the real part and the imaginary part is called a Hilbert transform pair. Here, W (e j Since ω) is a function of ω, it will be described as W (ω) hereinafter.
[0034]
In order to use the above relationship between the Hilbert transform pair of the real part and the imaginary part for the relationship between the amplitude characteristic and the phase characteristic, a polar coordinate representation of the transfer function W (ω) is used.
[Equation 46]
Complex natural logarithm on both sides of
[Equation 47]
think of. At this time, the amplitude characteristic (more precisely, the natural logarithm of the amplitude characteristic) In | W (ω) | If there is, W l Inverse discrete Fourier transform w of (ω) l Since the causality of (n) is also satisfied, ln | W (ω) | and arg [W (ω)] include
[Equation 48]
Holds, it is possible to generate the phase characteristic arg [W (ω)] from the amplitude characteristic | W (ω) | (more precisely, the natural logarithm ln | W (ω) | of the amplitude characteristic). Conversely, it is also possible to generate an amplitude characteristic from a phase characteristic. The condition that the natural logarithm ln | W (ω) | of the amplitude characteristic and the phase characteristic arg [W (ω)] form a Hilbert transform pair is called a minimum phase condition.
[0035]
Therefore, the polar coordinate-rectangular coordinate conversion of Expressions (67) and (68) is performed using arg [S (ω)] generated from the known | S (ω) | and | S (ω) | As a result, the real part Re [S (ω)] and the imaginary part Im [S (ω)] of the transfer function represented by the rectangular coordinates are obtained.
[Equation 49]
[Equation 50]
That is, the transfer function S (ω) is obtained. Further, a complex impulse response (delay profile) is obtained by performing an inverse Fourier transform on S (ω).
[0036]
Next, the minimum phase condition will be discussed in the discrete Fourier transform. Assuming that the number of points in the discrete Fourier transform is N, if the impulse response w (n) satisfies causality,
(Equation 51)
Meet. Again, the impulse response w (n) is the even component w e (N) and odd component w o (N)
(Equation 52)
It can be expressed as. However,

(Equation 54)

[Equation 64]
It becomes. However,
[Equation 65]
And V N ((Km)) N Is V when (km) <0. N ((Km)) N = V N (N + km).
[0037]
Although the imaginary part is generated from the real part here, it is also possible to generate the real part from the imaginary part (except for the generation of the DC component). Such a relationship between the real part and the imaginary part is called a Hilbert transform pair. That is, if either the real part or the imaginary part is known, the remaining one can be generated.
[0038]
In order to use the above relationship between the Hilbert transform pair of the real part and the imaginary part for the relationship between the amplitude characteristic and the phase characteristic, a polar coordinate representation of the transfer function W (k) is used.
[Equation 66]
Complex natural logarithm on both sides of
[Equation 67]
In consideration of the above, the amplitude characteristic (to be exact, the natural logarithm of the amplitude characteristic) ln | W (k) | If W l Inverse discrete Fourier transform w of (k) l Since the causality of (n) is satisfied, ln | W (k) | and arg [W (k)] include
[Equation 68]
Holds, and the phase characteristic arg [W (k)] can be generated from the amplitude characteristic | W (k) | (more precisely, the natural logarithm ln | W (k) | of the amplitude characteristic). Conversely, it is also possible to generate an amplitude characteristic from a phase characteristic. The condition that the natural logarithm ln | W (k) | of the amplitude characteristic and the phase characteristic arg [W (k)] form a Hilbert transform pair is called a minimum phase condition. The minimum phase condition is described in Chapter 7 of Digital Signal Processing (Lower) (AV Oppenheim, RW Shaffer, Translated by Date, Translated by Corona in 1978). .
[0039]
A method for obtaining a transfer function of a transmission path and a delay profile will be described. Let S (k) be the transfer function of the transmission path. At this time, S (k) is expressed by the following equation (69) in rectangular coordinates, that is,
[Equation 69]
And in polar notation, the following equation (70):
[Equation 70]
Is expressed as However,
[Equation 71]
[Equation 72]
It is. As described above, it is general that the transfer function S (k) is obtained using the SP signal or the like to obtain a complex impulse response (delay profile). However, there are situations where the SP signal cannot be used as in the differential mode. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method capable of estimating a transfer function and estimating a complex impulse response (delay profile) even in a situation where no SP signal exists.
[0040]
Here, the amplitude characteristic | S (k) | (or its equivalent | S (k) | 2 ) Is obtained and the phase characteristic arg [S (k)] of the transmission line is unknown. A method of obtaining the phase characteristic arg [S (k)] of the transmission line will be considered.
[0041]
Here, with reference to FIG. 1, a description will be given of a delay
[Equation 73]
It is calculated by: Next, an amplitude spectrum averaging unit (amplitude characteristic calculation unit) 18 converts the amplitude spectrum of the received signal (or retransmission signal) obtained by one discrete Fourier transform into | R i (K) |, and different symbols (or obtained by shifting the time data acquisition timing) | R i (K) | is averaged by M (M ≧ 1) as shown in the following equation (74),
[Equation 74]
Gives | S (k) |. Here, E [] represents M averaging. Amplitude spectrum used here | R i (K) | is obtained by performing OFDM demodulation and maintaining orthogonality between subcarriers, | R i (K) | even when | R obtained in a state where the orthogonality between subcarriers is broken | R i (K) | (however, | R in a state where orthogonality between subcarriers is broken) i In order to obtain (k) |, it is necessary to apply an appropriate window function to the OFDM time signal and then apply the discrete Fourier transform. ). However, when BPSK or QPSK having a constant amplitude is used as a subcarrier modulation method, | R obtained while maintaining orthogonality between subcarriers is obtained. i (K) | is obtained in a state where orthogonality between subcarriers is broken | R i Compared with the case where (k) | is used, the accuracy of the transfer function and delay profile obtained by the method of the present invention described later is higher, and | R obtained in a state where orthogonality between subcarriers is lost is obtained. i (K) When | is used, | R obtained while maintaining orthogonality i In order to obtain the same transfer function and delay profile accuracy as in the case of using (k) |, it is necessary to increase the number of M. In the case where amplitude modulation such as 64-level QAM or 16-level QAM, which does not have a constant amplitude, is used as a subcarrier modulation method, | R obtained while maintaining orthogonality between subcarriers is obtained. i Even when (k) | is used, | R obtained in a state in which the orthogonality between subcarriers is lost | R i Even when (k) | is used, the accuracy of the obtained transfer function and the complex impulse response (delay profile) are almost the same, and the accuracy increases as the number of M increases.
[0042]

<Inverted Delay Profile Measuring Method and Measuring Apparatus, and Cancellation Residual Complex Impulse Response (Delay Profile) Estimating Method of Filter Tap Coefficient Calculation Unit of Feedback Type Cancellation Canceller, and Feedback Type Transmission Path Adaptive Equalizer Estimation Method of Cancel Residual Complex Impulse Response (Delay Profile) of Filter Tap Coefficient Calculation Unit> By introducing reciprocal transfer function into the above-described delay profile measurement method, calculation of filter tap coefficient value of feedback type wraparound canceller It is also possible to configure a cancel residual complex impulse response (delay profile) estimation method of the section. FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment of the present invention.
[0055]
Prior to the description of FIG. 2, a method for obtaining a transfer function of a reciprocalized transmission path and a reciprocalized complex impulse response (delay profile) will be described. The transfer function of the reciprocalized transmission path is defined as T (ω). However, assuming that the actual transfer function is S (ω), S (ω) and T (ω) have a relationship of T (ω) = A / S (ω). Here, the coefficient A is a correction coefficient, and is set to perform level adjustment of the result of calculating the reciprocal of the complex impulse response (delay profile). At this time, T (ω) is expressed by the following equation (82) in rectangular coordinates, that is,
(Equation 82)
And in polar notation, the following equation (83):
[Equation 83]
Is expressed. However,
[Equation 84]
[Equation 85]
It is.
[0056]
Here, the amplitude characteristic | T (ω) | of the transfer function of the reciprocalized transmission path (or | T (ω) | 2 ) Is obtained and the phase characteristic arg [T (ω)] of the transfer path transfer function is unknown, a method of obtaining the phase characteristic arg [T (ω)] of the transfer path transfer function will be considered. For this purpose, a complex natural logarithm on both sides of a transfer function T (ω) expressed in polar coordinates is expressed by the following equation (86). l Think about (ω).
[Equation 86]
At this time, T l The real part ln | T (ω) | of (ω) is T l (Ω), and T l The imaginary part arg [T (ω)] of (ω) is T l It becomes an odd component of (ω). T l The inverse discrete-time Fourier transform of (ω) is t l (N). t l When (n) is a real number, satisfies causality, and is stable, arg [T (ω)] is obtained from ln | T (ω) | by the minimum phase condition as shown in the following equation (87).
[Equation 87]
Is obtained. Here, P represents Cauchy's principal value integral. Here, since T (ω) to be handled is stable, l (N) simultaneously satisfies causality. That is, the phase characteristic arg [T (ω)] of the transfer path transfer function can be obtained from the amplitude characteristic | T (ω) | of the transfer path transfer function.
[0057]
Therefore, using the known | T (ω) | and arg [T (ω)] generated under the minimum phase condition from | T (ω) |, the polar coordinate to orthogonal coordinate conversion of the equations (88) and (89) are performed. As a result, a real part Re [T (ω)] and an imaginary part Im [T (ω)] of the transfer function represented by the rectangular coordinates are obtained.
[Equation 88]
[Equation 89]
That is, a reciprocal transfer function T (ω) is obtained. Further, by inversely Fourier-transforming T (ω), a reciprocalized delay profile can be obtained.
[0058]
The above logic is developed on a discrete Fourier transform used in actual processing.
[0059]
Again, the amplitude characteristic of the transfer path transfer function | T (k) | (or its equivalent | T (k) | 2 ) Is obtained, and the phase characteristic arg [T (k)] of the transfer path transfer function is unknown, and a method of obtaining the phase characteristic arg [T (k)] of the transfer path transfer function will be considered. First, a method for obtaining an amplitude characteristic | T (k) | of a transfer path transfer function will be considered.
[0060]
Here, the delay
[Equation 90]
It is calculated by: Next, an amplitude spectrum averaging unit (amplitude characteristic calculation unit) 18 converts the amplitude spectrum obtained by one discrete Fourier transform into | R i (K) |, and different symbols (or obtained by shifting the time data acquisition timing) | R i (K) | is averaged over M (M ≧ 1)
[Equation 91]
Gives | S (k) |. Here, E [] represents M averaging. Amplitude spectrum used here | R i (K) | is obtained by performing OFDM demodulation and maintaining orthogonality between subcarriers, | R i (K) | even when | R obtained in a state where the orthogonality between subcarriers is broken | R i (K) |. However, when BPSK or QPSK having a constant amplitude is used as a subcarrier modulation method, | R obtained while maintaining orthogonality between subcarriers is obtained. i (K) | is obtained in a state where orthogonality between subcarriers is broken | R i As compared with the case where (k) | is used, the accuracy of the transfer function and the complex impulse response (delay profile) obtained by the method of the present invention described later is higher, and the accuracy is obtained in a state where orthogonality between subcarriers is broken. | R i (K) When | is used, | R obtained while maintaining orthogonality i In order to obtain the same accuracy of the transfer function and the complex impulse response (delay profile) as in the case of using (k) |, it is necessary to increase the number of M. Here, in the feedback type loop cancellers 60a (FIG. 9) and 90a (FIG. 12), it is necessary to obtain the complex impulse response (delay profile) by reciprocal. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the

【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the phase characteristic of the transfer function of the transmission path is estimated from the amplitude characteristic of the transfer function of the transmission path without using a special reference signal such as an SP signal in the OFDM method, and the transfer function of the transmission path is estimated. That is, a complex impulse response (delay profile) can be calculated. As a result, since the known signal is not used and the SP signal is not used, it is possible to estimate a transfer function, that is, to estimate a complex impulse response (delay profile) while performing normal broadcast and communication. Regardless of the mode, guard interval length, synchronous mode / differential mode, and hierarchical transmission, pseudo-delayed waves (excessive It is possible to measure the original complex impulse response (delay profile) without detecting the non-existent delay wave) and estimate the cancel residual complex impulse response (delay profile) of the filter tap coefficient value calculation unit of the loop canceller. Further, according to the present invention, it is possible to estimate a transfer function, that is, a complex impulse response (delay profile) if only the amplitude characteristic of the transfer function is obtained for the above-described reason. It is also easy to implement a type loop canceller and a feedforward type transmission line adaptive equalizer. Furthermore, since a frequency synchronization circuit and a phase synchronization circuit are not required, the circuit scale is greatly reduced, and at the same time, the cost is greatly reduced.
[0073]
Further, according to the present invention, the phase characteristic of the transfer function of the reciprocal transmission line is estimated from the amplitude characteristic of the transfer function of the reciprocal transmission line without using a special reference signal such as an SP signal in the OFDM system. Then, the transfer function of the reciprocalized transmission path can be estimated, that is, the reciprocalized complex impulse response (delay profile) can be calculated. As a result, since the known signal is not used and the SP signal is not used, it is possible to estimate the reciprocal transfer function, that is, to estimate the reciprocal complex impulse response (delay profile) while performing normal broadcasting and communication. In addition, regardless of the sampling rate, mode, guard interval length, synchronous mode / differential mode, and hierarchical transmission, a problem arises in simple complex impulse response (delay profile) measurement obtained by the autocorrelation method. The original complex impulse response (delay profile) measurement that does not detect the pseudo-delay wave (the delay wave that does not exist any more), and the feedback type wraparound canceller and the filter tap coefficient value calculation unit of the feedback type transmission line adaptive equalizer Cancellation residual complex impulse response (delay profile) estimation is possible. Further, according to the present invention, it is possible to measure a reciprocal transfer function, that is, a reciprocal complex impulse response (delay profile) as long as only the amplitude characteristic of the reciprocal transfer function is obtained for the above reason. Therefore, it is easy to implement a reciprocal delay profile measuring device, a feedback type transmission line adaptive equalizer, and a loop canceller. Furthermore, since a frequency synchronization circuit and a phase synchronization circuit are not required, the circuit scale is greatly reduced, and at the same time, the cost is greatly reduced.
[0074]
Further, by providing the feed-forward type transmission line adaptive equalizer or the feedback type transmission line adaptive equalizer according to the present invention at a stage preceding the OFDM demodulation unit, the OFDM demodulation unit can easily perform symbol synchronization and the like, thereby achieving OFDM demodulation. Becomes easier.
