Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle body cover that protects a vehicle body from being contaminated by dust, rainwater, etc., and more particularly, can be easily mounted on or removed from a vehicle body and can be stored compactly. The present invention relates to a vehicle body cover.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When an automobile such as a passenger car is stored outdoors, a cover that covers the vehicle body is used to protect the vehicle body from contamination by dust, rainwater, and the like. Since the body cover has a considerable size, its attachment and detachment is very troublesome and troublesome, and it is not easy to work particularly in a strong wind or heavy rain.
[0003]
Therefore, as a body cover for facilitating these operations, for example, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 47-2495, a plate-shaped wrapping plate is attached to the front of the cover body, and the cover body is attached to the wrapping plate. There has been proposed one configured to be folded while being wound (hereinafter referred to as Conventional Technique 1).
Further, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 54-136240, for example, a vehicle body cover in which a core plate attached to a cover body is constituted by a plurality of plate pieces arranged in the vehicle width direction, and the core plate is configured to be bendable. (Hereinafter referred to as prior art 2).
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the above prior art 1, when the cover body is wound around the winding plate by operating from one side of the vehicle body, the cover body of a portion wider than the length of the winding plate hangs down to the side of the vehicle body. Due to the rotational force at this time, the hanging end rolls up, and this part breaks and becomes messy. This winding phenomenon will be described with reference to FIG. As shown in FIG. 10, during the winding operation, the intermediate portion (52) of the cover body (51) is wound around the winding plate (54), and the side end portion (53) of the cover body. Hangs down along the side of the vehicle body (55). In order to further wind up the cover body (51), when one end (56) side of the above-mentioned winding plate (54) is gripped and rotated, the winding plate (54) wraps one side (57). While rotating around the center, the side end portion (53) of the cover body (51) hanging from the other end (58) of the winding plate (54) rotates around the above one side (57) and winds upward. Go up. The rotational force (R) generated at the time of winding up increases as the width of the winding plate (54) increases, and increases as the hanging length (L) increases, that is, as the vehicle height increases. This large rotational force (R) acts as a reaction (P) on the winding plate (54) and attempts to lift the other end (58) of the winding plate upward as indicated by the phantom line. As a result, the side end portion (53) of the cover main body is likely to be folded and overlap with the upper surface side of the vehicle body (55). Further, the above-mentioned rotational force is generated even when the cover body is mounted on the vehicle body, and in this case, the cover body rotates in the direction opposite to the direction shown in FIG. Is hard to be a resistance element when the side end is rotated up, and the side end is more easily rolled up.
For this reason, it is difficult to wind the cover main body around the winding plate or to attach it to the vehicle body if only one person operates the vehicle body from one side. In particular, in an automobile having a high vehicle height such as a one-box car, the side surface portion of the cover main body hanging down on the vehicle side is long, and the above-described winding action is easily generated, which is more difficult.
[0005]
In the above-mentioned winding plate, the side end portions of the cover main body are more likely to be folded and wound as the shorter the width of the cover main body. In order to prevent this, if the winding plate is made to have a length about the width of the vehicle, the entire body will be considerably long even if both ends protruding from the winding plate after winding the cover body are turned back. For this reason, it is not easy to store it in, for example, the trunk of a car, and since the folded portion has no core, it is bulky and not easy to handle.
[0006]
On the other hand, in the above-mentioned prior art 2, since the core plate can be folded, it can be stored compactly. However, when the cover body is taken up, there is a problem that the part hanging down to the side of the vehicle body winds up similarly to the above-mentioned prior art 1, and the bent portion between the respective plate pieces is raised by this winding action. Since the cover body is bent, it is not easy to wind the cover body around the core plate. In particular, when it comes to the ceiling portion of the vehicle body, the side portion of the cover body hanging down on the side of the vehicle is long, so that the load acting on the end portion of the core plate due to the curling of the side portion increases, and the above-mentioned bent portion is formed. It is easier to bend. In particular, when the cover body is unfolded and put on the vehicle body, since the weight of the wound side part is large, the above-mentioned curling action causes a larger load to be applied to the core plate so that the above-mentioned bent part is formed. Since the cover body is easily bent, it is extremely difficult to deploy the cover body on the vehicle body.
[0007]
Therefore, in Prior Art 2, it is described that the side surface of the cover body is folded back on the upper surface of the vehicle body before winding on the core plate, and then the core plate is rotated to wind the cover body. However, since the vehicle body is long in the front-back direction and the ceiling in the center in the front-rear direction is high, it is not easy to lift the entire side portion to the upper surface of the vehicle body. Since it protrudes upward and the upper end of the side surface of the vehicle body is bent in a convex shape, even if a return line is provided on the cover body along the upper end bent in the convex shape, the above-mentioned side portion is formed by the return line. Is extremely difficult and impractical.
[0008]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is a technical object of the present invention to solve the above-mentioned problems, and to provide a vehicle body cover that can be easily mounted on or removed from a vehicle body and can be stored compactly. .
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention will be described with reference to, for example, FIGS. 1 to 9 showing an embodiment of the present invention, in which a vehicle body cover is configured as follows.
That is, a first aspect of the present invention provides a cover body (2) for covering a vehicle body (B) of an automobile, and a plurality of moorings (3) for detachably fixing the cover body (2) to the vehicle body (B). The left and right side surfaces (2b) of the cover main body (2) are provided with a skirt (5) arranged between the front and rear tire houses (6.6), and a window (7) of the vehicle body (B). ) And the upper end of the tire house (6), and a plate-like winding support (4) substantially equal to the vehicle width is provided at the middle portion of the cover body (2) in the left-right direction. The support (4) is provided with a plurality of support portions (13) arranged in the left-right direction and a connecting member (14) for connecting the support portions (13) to each other. The connecting member (14) is configured to be bendable with the cover body (2) wound around the support (4). That.
[0010]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a cover body (2) for covering a vehicle body (B) of an automobile, and a plurality of moorings (3) for fixing the cover body (2) to the vehicle body (B), The side portion (2b) of the cover body (2) is configured to be turnable between the upper end of the tire house (6) and the lower edge of the window portion (7). A plate-like winding support (4) substantially equal to the vehicle width is attached to the middle part in the direction, and the support (4) includes a plurality of support parts (13) arranged in the left-right direction. A connecting member (14) for connecting the support portions (13) to each other, wherein the connecting member (14) can be bent with the cover body (2) wound on the support (4). It is characterized by having been constituted.
[0011]
[Action]
The cover body at the time of storage is wound around the support, and is in a compact state bent by the above-mentioned connecting member. The cover body is mounted on the body of the automobile in the following procedure. First, the connecting member is placed on an upper surface of a front portion, a trunk, or the like of an automobile in an extended state, and one end portion of the cover body is released from the support and locked to the vehicle body by the mooring portion. Next, the vehicle body is rotated in the front-rear direction with the end portion of the support body. As a result, the cover body is released from the periphery of the support, and is developed and covered along the vehicle body. Then, the other end of the cover body is locked to the end of the vehicle body by another mooring portion.
[0012]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the hem portion disposed between the front and rear tire houses is disposed between the lower end edge of the window portion of the vehicle body and the upper end of the tire house. The windows and the upper surface of the vehicle body are reliably prevented from being stained by rainwater or the like, but the vehicle body portion located below the skirt of the cover body is exposed. However, in the body of an automobile, the glass portion of the upper surface or the window is generally easily stained, and the vertical portion of the side is less stained. Therefore, the above-mentioned exposed portion, which is a vertical portion of the side surface, is slightly contaminated by dust or rainwater, and even if contaminated, it is easily cleaned in position.
On the other hand, according to the second aspect of the present invention, the side surface of the cover main body is covered with the body without folding back the skirt portion, whereby the vehicle body is covered and protected to the lower end of the side by the cover main body.
[0013]
When removing the vehicle body cover from the automobile, the following procedure is performed.
First, the locking by the above-mentioned mooring part is released, and the end of the cover main body is removed from the vehicle body. At this time, according to the second aspect of the present invention, the side portion of the cover main body is folded back between the upper end of the tire house and the lower edge of the window portion before winding by the support. Then, after the end removed from the vehicle body is placed on the support, the end of the support is held and rotated in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body, whereby the cover body is wound around the support. At this time, since the portion of the side surface of the vehicle body cover that hangs down to the side of the vehicle body is short, the winding up due to the rotation of the support is suppressed, and the cover body is easily wound around the support. Thereafter, the cover body that protrudes from the support is folded inward, and the above-mentioned connecting member is folded and folded compactly, and then stored in a predetermined storage place such as a trunk.
[0014]
The cover body is usually formed by sewing a heat-resistant thin sheet-like cloth, but may be formed of a slightly thicker material having a heat insulating layer or the like. Further, different materials may be combined, for example, the ceiling portion is formed of a thick material, and the side portions are formed of a thin material. Further, according to the second aspect of the present invention, the folded portion of the side portion may be made thinner than the material above the side portion so as to be easily folded.
[0015]
The support may be a plate-like member having a length substantially equal to the vehicle width and a predetermined width, and a wooden plate, a synthetic resin, a metal plate, a frame, or the like is used. This support is preferably lightweight, but requires rigidity such that the rotational force applied to one end during winding is transmitted to the other end. For this reason, the support may be configured such that a reinforcing member is fixed to a thin plate material, and the reinforcing member exerts a predetermined rigidity.
The above-mentioned support can be provided at an arbitrary position such as the upper surface of the hood or trunk of the vehicle body or the upper surface of the ceiling portion of the vehicle body. The support may be provided at one position in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body, or may be provided at a plurality of positions so as to be more easily wound up.
[0016]
When the cover body is wound up, the connecting members need to be maintained in a serial position in which the respective support portions are arranged in a plane, while the body member is compactly stored when stored in a storage location. Therefore, it must be easily bent.
The bending strength of the above-mentioned connecting member is such that, when a load is applied to the connecting member by supporting the support portions on both sides of the connecting member with supporting portions separated by 500 mm, for example, the bending is performed with a load of less than 0.5 kg. When the connection member is bent at the time of take-up, the connection member cannot be wound. When the load exceeds 8.0 kg, the connection member cannot be easily bent after winding the cover body. Therefore, it is preferable that the connection member be set so that the load is bent in a range of 0.5 to 8.0 kg. Further, it is preferable that the connection member be set so that the load is bent in a range of 1.0 to 6.0 kg. More preferred.
[0017]
The connecting member may be any member as long as it can connect the support members to each other. For example, a metal plate curved in the width direction or a structure using spring elasticity or rubber elasticity can be adopted. The connecting member is usually fixed to the support portion, but may be fixed to the reinforcing member when the support has a reinforcing member. It is also possible to extend the above-mentioned reinforcing member to this connecting member.
[0018]
The mooring portion is not limited to a specific shape, material, and structure as long as the cover main body can be fixed to the vehicle body. For example, the front mooring string provided between the front surface of the cover body and the front position of the both side surfaces or the upper surface portion in the vicinity thereof, and the rear surface portion and the rear position of the both side surface portions or the upper surface portion in the vicinity thereof And a rear mooring cord provided between the at least one end of the front and rear mooring cords. It can be configured so as to be disengageable with a locking portion formed on the main body. In this case, if the end provided with the above-mentioned engaging portion is connected to the cover body by a connecting string or the like, it is not necessary to search for the mooring string when attaching to the vehicle body. It can be easily locked to the part.
[0019]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
1 to 5 show a first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1 is a partially cutaway perspective view of a vehicle body cover mounted on an automobile, FIG. 2 is an enlarged view near a mooring portion, and FIG. FIG. 4 is a perspective view for explaining the operation of removing the cover body from the vehicle body, and FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the vehicle body cover in a housed state.
[0020]
As shown in FIG. 1, the vehicle body cover (1) includes a cover body (2) that covers a vehicle body (B) of an automobile, and a mooring portion () that detachably fixes the cover body (2) to the vehicle body (B). 3) and a plate-shaped support (4) fixed at a position near the front of the cover body (2).
[0021]
The cover body (2) includes an upper surface portion (2a) that covers the upper surface of the vehicle body (B), side surface portions (2b) disposed on left and right side surfaces of the vehicle body (B), and front and rear surfaces of the vehicle body (B). A front part (2c) and a rear part (2d) for covering the vehicle, and the skirt (5) of the side part (2b) is located above the upper end of the tire house (6) of the automobile and at the lower end of the window (7). It is located slightly below the edge. The upper surface part (2a) is formed of a thick cloth having heat insulating properties, a cloth combining heat insulating materials, and the like, while the side part (2b) is formed of a thin cloth. However, the cover body of the present invention may be made of a material that prevents wind and rain and the like and can be wound around the above-described support, and may be made of any material such as, for example, an entire thin fabric. Can be formed.
[0022]
Since the side surface (2b) of the cover body (2) is short, the lower part of the side of the vehicle body (B) is exposed. However, since the exposed part is a substantially vertical surface, dust adheres. This is a part that is difficult to clean and easy to clean. On the other hand, the window (7) that is easily contaminated with dust and the like is securely covered with the side surface (2b).
[0023]
The mooring section (3) includes two front mooring cords (3a, 3a) and two rear mooring cords (3b, 3b). One end of each of the front mooring cords (3a) is fixed to the front surface (2c) of the cover body (2), and the other end passes through the forward position of each of the left and right side surfaces (2b). It is detachably engaged with an upper surface portion (2a) covering a nearby hood. That is, as shown in FIG. 2, an engaging portion (8) is provided at the other end of the mooring cord (3a), and the engaging portion (8) is attached to the upper surface portion of the cover body (2). It is detachably engaged with the engaging portion (9) formed in (2a). Similarly, one end of each of the above-mentioned rear mooring cords (3b) is fixed to the rear surface portion (2d) of the cover body (2), and the other end passes through the rearward position of each of the left and right side surface portions (2b). And is detachably locked to the upper surface portion (2a) covering the trunk portion in the vicinity.
[0024]
As shown in FIG. 2, each of the above mooring cords (3a, 3b) is configured to be adjustable in length by an adjusting part (10). However, when the type of vehicle to which the vehicle body cover is attached is determined, the length of the mooring cords (3a and 3b) may be configured to be unadjustable. The cover body (2) has a patch cloth (11) extending along each of the mooring cords (3a and 3b), and the mooring cords (3a and 3b) are attached to the vehicle body (B). Direct hits are prevented. Furthermore, the above-mentioned mooring cord (3a, 3b) has a connecting cord (12) for connecting the vicinity of the end provided with the above-mentioned engaging portion (8) and the side surface (2b) of the above-mentioned cover body (2). ) Is provided. The connecting cord (12) has such a length that the cover main body (2) can be easily removed from the vehicle body (B) when the engaging portion (8) is detached from the locking portion (9). ing.
[0025]
Note that the mooring portion of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment as long as the cover main body can be detachably fixed to the vehicle body. For example, when the front mooring string is detachably locked to the cover body as described above, the rear mooring string is fixed at its both ends to the cover body so that it cannot be detached, and The portion may be configured to be expandable and contractible with a rubber elastic body. In this case, when the cover main body is removed from the front side, the rear mooring string is loosened, so that it can be easily removed.
[0026]
The support (4) fixed to the cover body (2) includes two support portions (13) arranged side by side and a connecting member (13) for connecting the support portions (13) to each other. 14), and the entire length of the support (4) is formed to be substantially equal to the vehicle width of the vehicle body (B). In this embodiment, the above-mentioned support is constituted by two support portions, but in the present invention, three or more support portions may be arranged in series.
[0027]
The support (4) is accommodated in a bag (15) formed at a position near the front of the cover body (2). The support body (4) may be attached to the cover body (2) and may be fixed so as not to be detached. However, it is preferable that the support body (4) can be attached and detached in consideration of washing the cover body (2). . Further, the support (4) may be provided at another position such as the upper surface of the trunk of the vehicle body (B), and may be provided at a plurality of places such as both the upper surface of the hood and the upper surface of the trunk. .
[0028]
As shown in FIG. 3, the support portion (13) is formed of a synthetic resin plate having a honeycomb core (16), and is lightweight and has a predetermined rigidity. The support portion (13) may be formed of other materials such as wooden or light metal, and the shape is not limited to a plate, but may be a frame or the like. The support portion (13) only needs to have such rigidity that it does not significantly deform when the cover body (2) is wound up, and may be provided with a reinforcing member.
[0029]
The support portion (13) is connected by the connection member (14) at a predetermined interval so that the cover body (2) can be folded while being wound around during storage, which will be described later. The connecting member (14) may be extended as shown by the phantom line in FIG. 3, and the extended portion (17) may constitute the reinforcing member (20) of the support portion (13). Good.
[0030]
The connecting member (14) is formed of a spring steel thin plate whose width direction is curved, and both ends are fixed to the support portion (13), respectively. The connecting member (14) is a curved spring steel member used for a tape measure or the like that maintains the support portion (13) in a series posture at a predetermined stress or less, and bends when further stress is applied. . That is, in the removal work and the mounting work of the vehicle body cover (1) to be described later, when the support body (4) is rotated, each support part (13) can be maintained in a serial posture, and the cover body (2) can be maintained. The thickness and width of the connecting member (14) and the number of the connecting members (14) are adjusted so that the connecting member (14) has such strength that it can be easily folded by hand in the wound state.
[0031]
As shown in FIG. 6, for example, the bending strength of the connecting member (14) is determined by supporting the support portions (13) on both sides of the connecting member (14) with support portions (18) separated by 500 mm. It can be indicated by the applied load (F) when the member (14) is bent, for example, by 10 cm or more. The flexural strength varies depending on the size and material of the cover body (2), the size and shape of the vehicle body (B), etc. In general, a large vehicle body requires a high strength, but usually has a strength of 0.5 to 8.0 kg. It is preferably set in the range, and more preferably set in the range of 1.0 to 6.0 kg.
[0032]
The vehicle body cover (1) is removed from the vehicle body (B) in the following procedure.
First, the front mooring cord (3a) is removed, and the front portion (2c) of the cover body (2) is placed on the support (4). Next, as shown in FIG. 4, one end of the support (4) is held, and the support (4) is rotated rearward. At this time, the side portion (2b) of the cover body (2) protrudes from the support (4), but its length is short. For this reason, the force of the side part (2b) rolling up by the rotation of the support (4) is weak, and the cover body (2) is smoothly wound around the support (4).
[0033]
When the support body (4) reaches the upper part of the trunk of the vehicle body (B) by winding the cover body (2), the rear mooring cord (3b) is removed, and the rear surface portion (2d) of the cover body (2) is removed. Wrap around support (4). Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 5, the side end (25) of the cover body (2) protruding from the support (4) is folded inward, and the connecting member (14) of the support (4) is bent to form a trunk or the like. Store in a storage place. The connecting member (14) may be bent in the opposite direction so that the side end (25) faces outward.
[0034]
The body cover (1) in the housed state is mounted on the body (B) of the automobile in the reverse procedure. That is, the connecting member (14) is extended to switch the support portion (13) to the serial position, and this is placed on the upper surface of the trunk of the vehicle body (B), and the rear surface portion (2d) of the cover body (2) is pulled out. While rotating (4), the cover body (2) is developed on the upper surface of the vehicle body (B). At this time, the rear mooring cord (3b) is fixed to the cover body (2) via the side surface of the vehicle body (B). Then, the cover body (2) is unfolded and covered on the vehicle body (B) while further rotating the support (4). When the support (4) reaches the upper surface of the hood, the front part (2c) of the cover body (2) is released from the support (4) to cover the front of the vehicle body (B), and the front mooring strap (3a) is attached to the tire. It is fixed to the cover body (2) via the house (6).
[0035]
7A and 7B show a modification of the support, FIG. 7A is a perspective view of the support, and FIG. 7B is a partially cutaway perspective view of the folded state.
As shown in FIG. 7 (a), in this modification, the support portion (13) comprises a thin synthetic resin plate (19) and a pipe-shaped reinforcing member (20) fixed to one side thereof. The connecting member (14) is fixed to the reinforcing member (20), and a pair of semi-cylindrical holding plates (21) and presses the holding plates (21) toward the reinforcing member (20). A spring plate (22) curved in a U-shape. The resilient member may be a coiled spring or the like. Further, these resilient members are adjusted so as to exert a predetermined resilient force by changing a tightening force of a fixture to which the resilient members are attached.
[0036]
In a serial position in which the support portions (13) are arranged in a plane, the holding plate (21) is along the pipe-shaped reinforcing member (20) and is elastically pressed by the spring plate (22) so that the reinforcing member ( Via (20) each support part (13) is held in this serial position. When the support portion (13) is rotated about the connecting member (14), the holding plate (21) is opened against the elastic force of the spring plate (22), and as shown in FIG. Meanwhile, the connecting member (14) is held in the folded position. In this modification, the reinforcing member (20) is provided only on one side of the synthetic resin plate (19). 【The invention's effect】
The present invention is configured and operated as described above, and has the following effects.
[0043]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the side surface of the cover body is short, and in the second aspect of the invention, the side surface of the cover body can be shortened by being folded over the tire house. By rotating while holding one end of the support while moving along one side, the cover body can be easily wound around the support.
Then, the rolled-up cover body can be folded compactly by folding back the portion protruding from the support and bending the connecting member, and can be easily stored in a predetermined storage place such as a trunk.
Also, since the cover body is relatively neatly wound around the support, when mounting it on the car body, the cover body can be easily deployed by rotating the support body on the car body and opening the cover body. And put it on the car body.
[0044]
In particular, the bending strength of the above-mentioned connecting member is set to a strength that bends when a load of 0.5 to 8.0 kg is applied to this connecting member by supporting the adjacent support portions with supporting portions separated by 500 mm. In this case, the connecting member is maintained in a serial position during the above-mentioned winding or mounting work, so that the cover body can be easily wound around the support body, while being securely folded after being wound. It is preferable because it can be folded.
