複写機、ファクシミリ、複合機(以後、複合機と称す)において、複合機のメンテナンス時に、装置のセンサやアクチュエータの状態が装置の表示部に表示される。又、タッチパネルやキーボードによりオペレータが入力をすることで、アクチュエータを動作させて動作をさせる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
一般に複合機の操作パネルは固定されており、大型の装置や操作パネルから離れた部分のメンテナンスを行うには複数人必要であったり、オペレータが何回も移動する必要があった。又、ネットワークを用いて装置情報をWebサーバを通し、Webブラウザを用いて表示する場合でも、最新の情報を表示させるにはホストコンピュータから再読み込み指示をしなくては表示内容が更新されず、操作が煩雑であった。

又、モータ等のアクチュエータを動作させるには操作パネルから入力をするためにオペレータの移動が必要となり、煩雑になってしまうという問題があった。

本発明は上記問題に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とする処は、操作パネルから離れた場所でも操作パネルと同じ情報をリアルタイムに確認可能な画像処理装置を提供することにある。

又、本発明の目的とする処は、ホストコンピュータからの入力信号を操作パネルの入力に対応付けてモータ等のアクチュエータを動作可能な画像処理装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するため、本発明は、画像記録手段、装置の状態を検出する状態検出手段、検出された装置の状態を機器の操作部に表示するユーザインターフェース手段及びネットワーク通信手段を含む画像処理装置において、前記画像処理装置は前記状態検出手段によって検出された装置の状態を前期操作部に表示し、且つ、同じ表示内容をネットワーク通信手段を通して定期的又は状態の変化時に送信し、ホストコンピュータ上のWebブラウザに表示する手段を設けたことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に本発明の実施の形態を添付図面に基づいて説明する。

図1は本発明に係る画像処理装置を使用したシステムの構成図である。画像処理装置100はネットワーク接続手段をもった画像処理装置で、インターネット、イントラネット等のネットワーク200と接続されている。画像処理装置オペレータ300は、ネットワーク接続可能なホストコンピュータ400を携帯しており、ネットワークを使って情報を送受信可能である。

画像処理装置100は、ネットワーク接続手段110を持ち、ネットワーク接続手段にはLANを用いたものと公衆電話回線を用いたもの等の複数の形態が考えられる。

装置状態検出手段120は各種のセンサから構成され、紙の残量等を知ることができる。ユーザインターフェース手段150は、情報を表示するLCDパネルと、オペレータからの入力を検知するためのタッチパネル及びキーボードから構成される。
