TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electronic information transmission system that can safely transmit electronic information, and more particularly to an electronic information transmission system that can be effectively used when transmitting contents by streaming communication.
[0002]
[Prior art]
According to the electronic tallying method disclosed by the inventor of the present application in Japanese Patent Application No. 2000-596543, International Patent Publication WO00 / 45358, and the like, it is possible to safely send a block of files and information with a limited capacity. This electronic tally method can be considered as a kind of secret sharing method. The whole electronic information is divided, randomly combined and transmitted separately, and the receiver side receives all the transmission blocks and then integrates with the tally information. This is to restore the original information.
By transmitting in this manner, even if a part of the information block being transmitted is obtained, it is not possible to restore even part of the original information by itself, and theft of the information can be prevented. Also, if this electronic tally method is used, some electronic information is distributed to the recipient side in advance, and only the person who has made the subscription contract sends the remaining electronic information via the Internet for reproduction. If it does so, it will not be used by anyone other than the authorized purchaser, and it will be possible to charge reliably.
As described above, the electronic tally method is effective in transmitting valuable information safely or in protecting copyright.
[0003]
When browsing large-capacity data such as audio, video, and animation, for example, a streaming technique is used in which all data is not reproduced after being received, but is immediately reproduced in the order of reception. When such a streaming technique is used, it is necessary for each part to have meaningful information even if it is sequentially reproduced from the received part.
However, electronic tally means, which is a method of receiving and restoring the entire electronic information, reproduces the entire information after receiving it, so that when transmitting content with a large amount of information, the waiting time becomes too long. In addition, a computer used for reproduction requires an enormous storage device. Therefore, when transmitting large-capacity information such as streaming, there is a restriction in using electronic tally means having high security.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an electronic information transmission system using an electronic tally which can safely send a large amount of electronic information, and is particularly effective when transmitting contents by streaming communication. It is to provide an electronic information transmission system that can be used for:
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the electronic information delivery system of the present invention is configured such that a computer at a transmission source divides the original electronic information into an arbitrary number of information elements, classifies the information into at least two information blocks, and The information elements belonging to the blocks are arranged in an arbitrary order and transmitted to the recipient's computer. The recipient's computer receives the information blocks, and determines the arrangement of the information blocks and the arrangement of the information elements included in each information block. This is a dynamic electronic tallying type electronic information transmission system which restores the original electronic information and reproduces it.
[0006]
In the electronic information transmission system according to the present invention, the originating computer creates sequence information that records the time-order and location of the information elements, and transmits the sequence information to the recipient computer. On the other hand, an information element existing within a predetermined time width is extracted based on the sequence information received by the receiver's computer, the electronic information included in the information element is restored, the restored electronic information is recorded in a buffer memory, When reproducing the electronic information stored in the memory, the reproduced electronic information is erased from the buffer memory, the electronic information is restored for the information element which comes next in order, and the information is supplemented to the buffer memory, so that a substantially constant amount of electronic information is always obtained. It is characterized by holding information.
[0007]
According to the present invention, since the sequence information records the order of each information element, the computer of the receiver obtains the sequence information, so that the time required to collect the information elements existing in which information block and where. It can be seen that the electronic information of the band can be collected sequentially. Therefore, by initially restoring information for an appropriate time width such as 5 minutes or 10 minutes and storing the information in the buffer memory, it is possible to reproduce the stream information without tearing or causing the viewer to feel stress. it can. As the information stored in the buffer memory is discarded, electronic information for the subsequent time can be newly collected, restored, and supplemented.
The sequence information can be used only when the source computer supplies it to the recipient computer. For this reason, even if some electronic information leaks, it cannot be reproduced unless there is sequence information, so that the information is safely protected.
[0008]
In the electronic information transmission system of the present invention, information elements located close to each other in the original electronic information may be collected in each information block. When such information blocks are used, the information elements to be collected in accordance with the reproduction of the electronic information are dispersedly included in a very small number of information blocks, which is convenient for collection, and the same after restoring for a certain time period. Since there is no need to reuse the information block, that part can be discarded.
Such an information block can be effectively used even in a system in which a transmitting computer sequentially supplies electronic information according to a stream. It goes without saying that the order of the information elements allocated to the adjacent information blocks may be somewhat mixed.
[0009]
The sending computer holds at least one of the information blocks, distributes the remaining information blocks to the receiver in advance, and holds the information block only when receiving an application for use from the receiver. An information block may be sent.
If the information block is absent, the electronic information cannot be restored, so that only the genuine right holder can use the electronic information and the security of the electronic information can be maintained.
Also, since only a very small portion of the electronic information needs to be transmitted, it is possible to eliminate an excessive load on the communication network due to access at the time of reproducing the electronic information, thereby reducing the burden on the information distributor. .
[0010]
The information block may be transmitted sequentially from the transmitting computer using a communication network when the receiver computer reproduces the electronic information. However, the information block may be transmitted in advance through a communication network or a DVD or CD. It may be distributed or sent on another medium.
The source distributes electronic information including content such as music, movies, and animations through, for example, downloading from the Internet, magazine appendixes, direct mail, distribution on the street, and the like. This electronic information includes an information block, but is processed so that the electronic information cannot be restored by the secret sharing technology. However, some trial portions extracted from the electronic information can be reproduced as they are without performing secret sharing processing.
[0011]
The consumer, after confirming a part of the electronic information and applying for the purchase through the Internet or the like, can receive the arrangement information and the remaining information blocks for the first time, and can reproduce the entire electronic information. Therefore, by distributing electronic information that has been subjected to electronic tally processing in advance and transmitting small-sized array information or the remaining information blocks using a communication network when actually using the electronic tally processing, the actual information can be transmitted. In addition to presenting and advertising the performance, it is possible to construct a secure electronic information transmission system in which electronic information cannot be used by anyone other than the authorized purchaser.
[0012]
The array information may be transmitted by being embedded in a header attached to each information block.
Even when distributing the array information, all the information blocks necessary for restoring the electronic information can be obtained, and if the header cannot be restored, the electronic information cannot be restored. That can be ruled out. If some information blocks are reserved at the transmission source, the security of the information is even higher.
[0013]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an electronic information transmission system of the present invention will be described in detail based on embodiments with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a block diagram illustrating the principle of an electronic information transmission system according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a use procedure.
In the electronic information transmission system of the present embodiment, the computer S of the transmission source is a literary work such as a novel, a poetry, a diary, an editorial, a movie, a play, a photograph / painting, a music, a game, a computer program, a research paper, various information, In addition, it stores electronic information W obtained by converting various contents used by people into electronic information.
[0014]
The transmission source computer S divides the electronic information W into small information elements E, rearranges them arbitrarily, distributes them to a plurality of information blocks B, and transmits them to the receiver computer R. Since the order of the information elements E in the information block B is determined randomly and has no relation to the original order, it is difficult to restore the original electronic information W as it is. In particular, in the case where dummy information is added to the original electronic information, compressed and then divided and distributed, it is impossible to guess the original information unless there is positional information created at the time of division.
In addition, the source computer S creates and stores information on the order of the information elements E or the elapsed time as viewed from the start time when reproducing as electronic information as array information A. The array information A includes position information of the information element E in the information block B.
[0015]
The information block B can be supplied to the recipient's computer R by various means. For example, it is posted on the sender's homepage so that it can be freely downloaded via the Internet. Also, it may be attached as an appendix to a magazine or the like, placed in a store so that it can be freely brought back, or distributed by direct mail.
The receiver takes in the obtained information block B into the computer R, and if the user wants to obtain the information after examining the contents and performance of the electronic information, the receiver informs the computer S that he / she wants to purchase the information.
When confirming the purchase intention, the transmission source computer S confirms the security of the transaction such as the recipient ID and the settlement method, and transmits the sequence information A to the recipient computer R.
[0016]
The receiver computer R restores the electronic information by re-integrating the information element E when necessary. However, restoring the entire information at once requires a large-capacity buffer, so that the buffer memory is immediately reproduced. Only the part to be reproduced is always prepared so that continuous reproduction can be performed. However, it is important that the information is not disconnected even when the restoration process does not go smoothly, so that the viewer does not give an unnatural impression or unpleasant feeling.
The receiver computer R is provided with a buffer memory M having a predetermined capacity so that even if the flow of electronic information is interrupted for a predetermined time such as 5 minutes or 10 minutes, there is no breakage during reproduction.
[0017]
FIG. 2 shows a procedure at the time of reproduction. As an initial preparation for reproduction, first, electronic information for a predetermined time is reproduced and stored in the buffer memory M. In reproducing the electronic information, the sequence information A is acquired from the transmission source computer S (S1), and based on the acquired sequence information A, there is an information element E carrying the electronic information to be reproduced within an initial predetermined time. Know the information block B and its position in it and collect them (S2).
[0018]
The collected information elements E are rearranged in the order of reproduction, the electronic information is restored, and stored in the buffer memory M (S3). When information necessary for restoration remains in the source computer S, such as when some electronic information is held in the source computer S or when electronic information is formed as an event such as a relay broadcast occurs, , To use this. The source computer S can also supply it spontaneously.
[0019]
In the electronic tally processing, which can be regarded as a kind of secret sharing method, a random number is added as dummy information before plaintext, a code word obtained by compression encoding is masked with random number data, and then the random number is used. Allocate or transmit or distribute to an appropriate number of tallies in bit units. A correspondence table indicating which tally each bit of the code word after masking is included in is created, attached to the tally header, and transmitted or distributed. On the receiver side, the procedure of tallying is reversed to return to plain text for use.
Therefore, the electronic information cannot be restored without collecting all the tallyed information blocks for the relevant portions.
The array information A is created in association with the correspondence table. The array information A is information indicating when the divided information bits are required at the time of reproduction based on the order, and is essential for the electronic tally processing. Not something.
[0020]
When a predetermined amount of electronic information is accumulated, the electronic information is read from the buffer memory M, and the reproduction is started using the display D or the speaker (S4).
Thereafter, an information element E on which electronic information corresponding to the next time zone is to be mounted is collected based on the array information A so that the predetermined amount of electronic information is always stored in the buffer memory M. Then, the electronic information is restored and added to the buffer memory M (S6).
As time elapses, the electronic information stored in the buffer memory M is read and reproduced (S7), and until the electronic information is exhausted (S8), the information element E coming at the next timing is collected and restored while the content is restored. Continue playing.
[0021]
As described above, in the electronic information transmission system according to the present embodiment, the information element divided as the electronic tally is collected and restored in advance by a predetermined time at a necessary portion along the passage of time. The user can enjoy the electronic information content by natural reproduction without tearing, such as watching a normal movie or television broadcast or listening to a record performance.
The electronic information transmission system according to the present embodiment can be used even when using a streaming technology for reproducing electronic information while sequentially supplying it, such as an Internet television. It can be carried out.
[0022]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, according to the electronic information transmission system of the present invention, when transmitting a large amount of electronic information that evolves according to time, such as a moving image, secret sharing is used to prevent data leakage during storage or transmission. However, a person who requests reproduction can reproduce a moving image or the like while minimizing stress such as tearing.
