TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an obstacle detection device that detects an obstacle on a track in order to secure the safety of a passenger using a train and a person who has fallen from a platform to a track.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as an obstacle detection device that detects an obstacle on a track, there is one described in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-228250. This conventional obstacle detection device has a camera that images a trajectory and a subject, stores a background image in advance, and compares the difference between an image obtained by one camera and the background image. Then, image data indicating the subject is extracted from the image. The size of the subject is estimated based on the image data, and an obstacle is detected from the information obtained by the estimation.
FIG. 12 is a diagram showing an image obtained by imaging with the conventional obstacle detection device. FIG. 12A shows an
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in such a conventional obstacle detection device, an image is captured by a single camera, and a subject in the image is measured in a two-dimensional shape. For example, as illustrated in FIG. Since 1201 is measured with substantially the same size, it is difficult to recognize whether the actual subject is a person or a bird, and erroneous detection was performed.
The present invention has been made in order to solve such a problem, and an object of the present invention is to provide an obstacle detection device capable of improving recognition accuracy of an obstacle on a track.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The obstacle detection device according to the present invention includes a stereo camera including a track surface on which a train track is laid and a plurality of cameras for imaging the same subject, and a plurality of images obtained by imaging with the stereo camera. Means for measuring a subject height that is a distance from the track surface to a part of the subject in a normal direction from the orbit plane based on each block image obtained by dividing the area, and generating information on the subject height; Means for detecting a region located near the platform on the track surface as a detection region, and detecting all or a part of an image of the subject present in the detection region based on information on the height of the subject. When detecting all or a part of the image of the subject existing in the detection area, generating a detected object information that is information on a form or a motion state of the detected subject. When the detected based on the object information, the sensed object has a configuration in which a obstacle determination means for determining whether or not an obstacle. According to this configuration, since the measurement is performed in a three-dimensional shape including the height of the subject from the image obtained by the imaging by the stereo camera, the recognition accuracy for recognizing the obstacle on the track can be increased.
[0005]
