棒鋼等の重量長尺物をクレーンにより吊り上げるための自動玉掛け吊具は、従来より実開平2−99886号公報,実開平4−34284号公報,実開平4−60991号公報等により知られているが、これら従来の玉掛け吊具は、吊具本体の両端部に一対の吊アームをシリンダを作動させることにより外方に回転し拡張し得るように構成したものであった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、吊荷である棒鋼等の長尺物製品の長さには長いものから短いものまで非常に大きな幅があるが、従来の上記吊具の構造では長さに対する適用範囲が狭く、実状にそぐわないという問題があった。また、吊アームの回転支点となる枢軸に集中荷重が掛かるので強度が損なわれるという問題があった。
そこで本発明は、長いものから比較的短いものまで広範囲に吊り上げられるとともに、耐荷重性が優れた長尺物自動玉掛け吊具を提供しようとするものである。

そのために本発明に係る長尺物自動玉掛け吊具は、クレーンにより支持される吊具本体にモータによりピニオンを回転駆動させる一対の駆動装置を設け、該ピニオンに噛合するラックが形成された一対のビームを該吊具本体に夫々上下段差をもって支持し、該駆動装置により該ビームが該吊具本体の両側へ略水平に張り出すようにするとともに、垂下アーム対を拡縮自在に吊下してなる支持枠体を該各ビームの先端部に設け、該垂下アーム対の下端に所定長の吊索を張設してなることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に図面に従い本発明の実施の形態を説明する。図1は本発明に係る長尺物自動玉掛け吊具の正面図、図2はそのA−A線断面図である。両端部が開口した台形枠状の吊具本体1は、上面に一対の吊金具2,2が突設され、該吊金具にクレーン(図示せず)ロープのフック3,3を掛けて吊り上げることにより略水平に支持される。該吊具本体1の右半部には3つのガイドローラ4aを夫々回転自在なるように軸受5aによって同高に並設し、該ガイドローラ4a上にビーム6aを水平方向にスライド可能に支持し、該ビーム6aの上面に形成されたラック7aと噛合するピニオン8aを軸受9aによって回転自在に設け、該ピニオン8aの回転軸にスプロケット10aを固着し、減速機付きモータ11aに固着したスプロケット12aとスプロケット10aに無端チェーン13aを巻掛している。また、吊具本体1の左半部には3つの同高のガイドローラ4bを夫々回転自在なるように軸受5bによって前記ガイドローラ4aとはビーム6aの厚さ分の上下段差があるように並設し、該ガイドローラ4b上にビーム6bを水平方向にスライド可能に支持し、該ビーム6bの上面に形成されたラック7bと噛合するピニオン8bを軸受9bによって回転自在に設け、該ピニオン8bの回転軸にスプロケット10bを固着し、減速機付きモータ11bに固着したスプロケット12bとスプロケット10bに無端チェーン13bを巻掛している。なお、14a,14bは夫々ピニオン8a,8bと同高なるように回転自在に設けられラック7a,7bと噛合することで該ビーム6a,6bを支持し得る補助ピニオンである。

また、15a,15bはビーム6a,6bの先端部に設けた支持枠体で、該各支持枠体は、図3に示されるように、ビーム6a,6bの先端部に水平杆16および起立片17を固着し、該水平杆の両端部にピン18,18によって一対の垂下アーム19,19を拡縮自在に吊下し、該垂下アーム対の下端に所定長のベルト,チェーン等の吊索20を張設し、該垂下アーム対の略中間部にリンク部材21,21をトグル状に組み付け、該リンク部材21,21の交点22を起立片17に設けた引張バネ23によって弾性的に圧下し、該弾性により該垂下アーム19,19対が拡幅されることで吊索20が水平に引っ張られるようにしている。

このように構成した玉掛け吊具では、モータ11aを駆動しピニオン8aを回転させることでビーム6aを一方向に水平に張り出させ、モータ11bを駆動しピニオン8bを回転させることでビーム6bを他方向に水平に張り出させることができるので、図1に示したように両支持枠体15a,15bの間隔に吊り上げようとする長尺物24が位置するように調整し、その状態で両支持枠体15a,15bの間隔を狭め、両支持枠体の吊索20上に該長尺物24があるようにしてからクレーン操作により吊具本体1を吊り上げれば、図4に示したように、該長尺物24が該吊索20により吊り上げられる。そのとき図5に示したように該長尺物24の荷重によって該吊索20は撓み引張バネ23の弾性に抗して垂下アーム19,19対は縮まり該長尺物24は該吊索20により包まれることから安定的に吊り上げることができる。

このように本発明に係る長尺物自動玉掛け吊具は、クレーンにより支持される吊具本体にモータによりピニオンを回転駆動させる一対の駆動装置を設け、該ピニオンに噛合するラックが形成された一対のビームを該吊具本体に夫々上下段差をもって支持し、該駆動装置により該ビームが該吊具本体の両側へ略水平に張り出すようにするとともに、垂下アーム対を拡縮自在に吊下してなる支持枠体を該各ビームの先端部に設け、該垂下アーム対の下端に所定長の吊索を張設してなるので、長いものから比較的短いものまで広範囲に吊り上げられるとともに、従来の玉掛け吊具のように枢軸を有しないので、耐荷重性が優れるなど有益な効果がある。
