Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a garbage processing method, and more particularly, to a processing method for efficiently processing a large amount of garbage in a short time.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, the following method has been used as a garbage disposal method for decomposing garbage, drying the obtained processed object, and discharging the garbage. That is, a special microorganism is supported on a carrier, and the carrier and the garbage are brought into contact with each other, and at the same time, the above-mentioned specific microorganisms form a treatment environment at an optimal temperature for decomposing the garbage, whereby the garbage is reduced. This is a method for performing microbial degradation.
[0003]
In this method, a porous hardly decomposable organic substance, for example, a wood chip or chaff is used as a carrier for the microorganism. Since this wood chip has high water absorption, it has an advantage that it has a function of a moisture adjusting material during garbage disposal.
However, on the other hand, there are problems as described below.
That is, as described above, since the carrier has the function of a moisture adjusting material, a considerable amount of the carrier is required for garbage, and as a result, the apparatus becomes large. Further, since it is difficult to separate the carrier and the processed material, the carrier must be discharged together with the processed material, and a large amount of residue is discharged. Moreover, since the carrier contained in a large amount in the residue is hardly decomposable, the residue is not always a good compost material.
[0004]
Furthermore, after discharging the mixture of the carrier and the processed material, a new carrier must be replenished, which increases the cost. In order to prevent this increase in cost, especially in large-scale equipment, if continuous processing is continued for several months without discharging the processed material, the environment inside the processing tank will be in a state that hinders the activity of microorganisms such as a decrease in pH value. Will be. In this method, there is also a problem that it takes a long time to treat foods having outer skin such as large foods and fruits, or fibers.
[0005]
In order to solve such a problem, recently, a method using an inorganic porous body, for example, a porous ceramic ball as a carrier for supporting a special microorganism has been proposed. Such a porous ceramic ball has an advantage that the running cost can be suppressed from rising because the separation from the residue after the treatment is easy.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the method using the porous ceramic balls also has the following problems. That is, firstly, since the porous ceramic ball has a low moisture control ability, the inside of the system becomes excessive in moisture during the treatment, so that it tends to fall into an anaerobic fermentation state, and the drying of the treated material takes a long time. It costs. Secondly, if the porosity is increased to increase the amount of microorganisms to be carried, the wear resistance will decrease, so the ceramic balls will be severely worn during use, and it is necessary to refill the worn ceramic balls. The cost increases as a result.
[0007]
An object of the present invention is to solve the above problems and to provide a processing method capable of promptly removing water generated during processing of garbage, reducing the volume of garbage and drying the processed material in a short time. .
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present inventor does not use a special microorganism supported on a carrier as in the prior art, but physically crushes the garbage and uses a microorganism naturally occurring in the garbage. And the idea that an environment capable of removing water generated during the treatment should be formed.
[0009]
That is, according to the present invention, a step of physically pulverizing the garbage by continuously forcibly stirring the garbage and a lump made of a material harder than the garbage in a mixed state, A step of constantly bringing air into contact with the garbage being stirred to perform microbial decomposition of the garbage by microorganisms naturally occurring from the garbage; and moisture and odor generated during the microbial decomposition by exhausting the air. And a step of discharging garbage.
[0010]
In the above-described configuration, the lump formed of a material harder than the garbage is not particularly limited in its outer shape, and may be a sphere, a polyhedron, a plate, or the like, or a regular shape having protrusions, corners, and dents on the surface thereof. An amorphous mass, for example, a ceramic ball may be used, but it does not need to be porous and preferably has abrasion resistance. The size of the lump is appropriately set in consideration of factors such as physical pulverization of the litter by stirring and separation of the lump and the residue after the litter by, for example, a mesh.
[0011]
Preferably, the air is outside air heated to 30 to 45 ° C. or outside air heated to 45 to 60 ° C. Further, these outside airs may have undergone a dehumidification step.
In the latter stage of the microbial decomposition step, a drying and sterilizing step at a high temperature may be performed for the purpose of shortening the drying time and sterilizing the residue. Preferably, the method further includes a step of removing the water and the odor discharged in the microbial decomposition step of the garbage.
[0012]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, a garbage processing method of the present invention and a processing apparatus for carrying out the method will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 schematically shows each step of the intermediate temperature treatment which is the first embodiment of the garbage treatment method of the present invention. First, after the outside air is dehumidified through a dehumidification step A, a heating step B- Warm to 30-45 ° C with 1. The dehumidified air heated through the steps A and B-1 is continuously introduced into the processing step C-1 and is exhausted after coming into contact with the garbage, where the garbage is decomposed.
[0013]
At this time, the absolute humidity of the dehumidified air is, for example, 6 g / kgD. A. (DA is preferably Dry Air) or less. By bringing such dehumidified air into contact with garbage, water generated from the processed material is removed, and oxygen is supplied to microorganisms naturally generated from the garbage, and the dehumidified air is heated to 30 to 45 ° C. By doing so, the naturally occurring microorganisms can be activated.
[0014]
Specifically, in the processing step C-1, the garbage and the lump formed of a material harder than the garbage, for example, are continuously forcibly stirred in a state where the garbage is mixed with ceramic balls. In this step, the garbage is physically crushed and comminuted by forced stirring with the ceramic balls. As a result, volume reduction of garbage proceeds in a short time.
At the same time, since the treatment system is maintained in a temperature range of 30 to 45 ° C., microorganisms naturally occurring from garbage, for example, microbial decomposition of garbage by medium-temperature aerobic microorganisms progress. If the treatment temperature is lower than 30 ° C., the rate of removing moisture from the treated material is reduced, and an anaerobic reaction is likely to occur. As a result, odor problems may occur, and special consideration may be required. is there.
[0015]
During the process of microbial decomposition of this garbage, if the garbage is physically crushed and refined as described above to increase its surface area, the number of reaction points of the microorganisms will increase. There is also an effect of further promoting decomposition.
The ceramic balls that can be used in the processing step C-1 are not particularly limited, but are preferably excellent in abrasion resistance in order to exhibit a long-term processing effect. Specifically, for example, a material composed of 60% Al 2 O 3 -40% SiO 2 , 99% Al 2 O 3 -1% SiO, or the like can be given.
[0016]
Further, instead of the ceramic ball, a steel ball, a hard resin or the like can be preferably used.
In addition, it is preferable that the water and odor generated in the microbial decomposition step in the processing step C-1 be removed in the subsequent water removal / deodorization step D. In this step D, for example, after bubbling water and odor into water to remove water and water-soluble odor, excess water-insoluble odor is adsorbed and removed by passing through a layer such as active humus. And the like.
[0017]
Furthermore, the processed product obtained by such a process, that is, the residue can be effectively used as a fertilizer raw material. However, in this intermediate temperature treatment, the possibility of contamination with room temperature active pathogens active at the relevant temperature is taken into consideration. In the residue drying step E, the temperature of the treatment system is increased to, for example, 55 to 65 ° C. before discharging the finally obtained residue, and is maintained at this temperature for 3 to 8 hours. Sterilization of the pathogenic bacteria may be performed simultaneously.
[0018]
FIG. 2 schematically shows each step of the high-temperature treatment which is the second embodiment of the garbage disposal method of the present invention. In the drawing, the same steps as those in FIG. 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals. It is.
This embodiment is different from the first embodiment in that the dehumidification step A is omitted and the outside air is directly introduced into the heating step B-2. In the heating step B-2, the outside air is heated to a temperature of 45 to 60C. The air heated through the heating step B-2 is continuously introduced into the processing step C-2, and is exhausted after coming into contact with the garbage, where the garbage is decomposed as described above.
[0019]
That is, air heated to 45 to 60 ° C. has a high water removing ability by itself, and can be used without dehumidifying in advance, but it is necessary according to various conditions during processing. If necessary, it may be dehumidified. By bringing the high-temperature air into contact with the garbage, the moisture initially contained in the garbage can be quickly removed.
In the processing step C-2, forced agitation is performed in a state in which a lump (for example, a ceramic ball excellent in wear resistance) made of a material harder than garbage and garbage are mixed in the same manner as described above. In this step, the garbage is miniaturized, the volume of the garbage is rapidly progressed, and at the same time, the air heated to 45 to 60 ° C. is constantly brought into contact with the garbage being stirred and exhausted, whereby the water content of the treated material is reduced. Removal and oxygen supply to microorganisms. Furthermore, since the treatment system is always maintained at a high temperature of 45 to 60 ° C., the high-temperature aerobic microorganisms naturally generated from the garbage are activated to promote the biodegradation of the garbage.
[0020]
In the above embodiment, when the processing is continued in a state where the temperature of the heated air exceeds 60 ° C., not only does the power consumption required for the heating continue to be wasted, but also the processed material to the compost material is reduced. It may be necessary to take care not to burn the processed material in consideration of reuse. In this high-temperature treatment step, it is preferable that moisture and odor generated during the decomposition of garbage are discharged from the treatment step C-2 and then removed by the moisture removal / deodorization step D as described above.
[0021]
Through the above steps, it is possible to reduce, decompose, and dry garbage in a short time, and at the same time, because of the high temperature treatment, the activation of pathogens active at room temperature is suppressed. It is further advantageous in that it is not necessary to worry about the contamination of these residues with the cold-acting pathogenic bacteria.
In this high-temperature treatment, when the treatment temperature is relatively low, it is preferable to carry out the high-temperature drying / sterilization step of the residue similarly to the above-mentioned medium-temperature treatment step.
[0022]
Furthermore, in the treatment method of the present invention, microorganisms derived from garbage naturally occurring in the treatment step are used in the decomposition treatment, and it is necessary to use a special microorganism that is positively supported on a carrier as in the related art. There is no cost, which is advantageous in terms of cost. In addition, when ceramic balls having excellent wear resistance are used for stirring, they can be used for long-term crushing of garbage. There is an advantage that there is no need.

【Example】
Example 1 (medium temperature treatment of garbage)
Medium temperature treatment of garbage was carried out under the following conditions using the garbage processing apparatus shown in FIGS.
Under these conditions, 50 kg of standard garbage was put into a treatment tank per day to perform a continuous treatment for 5 days, and then dried and discharged the residue after the treatment for 2 days. That is, one cycle of garbage disposal was completed in seven days. The reduction rate of garbage was about 83%. In addition, the change in the moisture content of the residue during the treatment process for 5 days was about 35 to 45%, and the treatment could be performed in a state where the anaerobic fermentation did not progress throughout. The moisture content of the residue discharged on the seventh day after drying was about 20%. The residue had a low odor and was easy to handle and was in the form of sand.
[0039]
An garbage disposer that can perform such a treatment process, such as a school where lunch is provided, a company with an employee cafeteria, etc., performs processing for 5 days on weekdays and does not perform processing for 2 days on weekends. It is suitable for facilities.
Example 2 (High temperature treatment of garbage)
The continuous processing of garbage was carried out in the same manner as described above, except that the dehumidifier was not used and the set temperature was 45 to 60 ° C. (temperature sensor in the processing tank, temperature sensor of the processed product).
[0040]
As a result, after performing the same continuous treatment for 5 days as described above, the residue in the treatment tank could be discharged in a dry state without a separate drying treatment. That is, it was possible to complete one cycle of the garbage processing in five days and to start the processing by adding the garbage again from the sixth day.
Also in this treatment process, the presence of naturally occurring microorganisms derived from garbage active at 45 to 60 ° C. in the
[0041]
According to this embodiment, it is not necessary to stop the treatment and perform the drying, and the operation can be performed in a short cycle. For example, hospitals, various nursing homes, and various accommodations can be used for daily garbage disposal. Particularly suitable for required facilities.
As is clear from the above results, in the garbage processing step of the present invention, since the ceramic ball and the garbage excellent in abrasion resistance are forcibly stirred together, mechanical crushing of the garbage by the ceramic ball is performed. It progresses and it is easy to reduce the volume of substances that are difficult to treat only by normal microbial decomposition such as fibrous materials, appetizer bones, fruit peels, etc., and at the same time, the treatment system is suitable for activating microorganisms naturally occurring from garbage It was confirmed that biodegradation of garbage proceeded at the same time because the environment was maintained.
[0042]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the garbage processing method of the present invention, the volume of garbage is reduced by physical pulverization using a lump (for example, a ceramic ball) made of a material harder than garbage, and the garbage is naturally generated. The activation of the microorganism proceeds simultaneously and promptly, and the residue in a dry state can be discharged in a short time. Further, unlike the related art, a special microorganism is not required, and a carrier of the microorganism which is intensely consumed is not required, so that the operation cost of the apparatus can be reduced. Further, since a large amount of garbage can be efficiently treated in a short time, it is extremely useful as a garbage disposal method for business use in various facilities.
