従来、扉があり、開閉しやすいように取っ手やドアノブが取り付けられていた。また、取っ手やドアノブの出っ張りが気になる場合には、これらを取り付けるかわりに、側面に凹部が設けられた手掛け部材を扉本体にダボ等で組み付けたものが知られている。

しかしながら、手掛け部材を扉本体とが一体になっていないため、組み付けに手間がかかる、使用している内にダボ接合が緩んできて手掛け部材と扉本体との間に隙間が生じる、色調を合わすのが煩わしいなどの問題があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明はかかる状況に鑑み検討されたもので以下のことを特徴とする。すなわち、請求項１に記載の発明は、矩形状の中密度繊維板１の一辺で開口側となる側面に、該側面の両端に直線部４を残しながら該両端から該側面の中央にかけて凹部５が形成され、該側面には塗装が施され、表裏には化粧材２が接着され、他方の側面には木口処理が施されてなることを特徴とする手掛け扉１０である。

また、請求項２記載の発明は、該凹部５が略横への字形であることを特徴とする請求項１記載の手掛け扉である。

【発明の実施形態】
以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて詳細に説明する。図１は本発明の手掛け扉１０の斜視図であり、図２は図１中の線Ａ−Ａに沿う断面図である。手掛け扉１０は中密度繊維板１からなり、表面と裏面には化粧材２として、耐久性、耐衝撃性、耐摩耗性などの諸物性に優れるメラミン樹脂化粧板が接着剤を用いて接着されている。表面、裏面に接着される化粧材２としては意匠性のあるものであれば特に制約はなく、例えば、ジアルフタレート樹脂化粧板、化粧合板、突板シート、塩ビシートなどが挙げられる。

前記の直線部４から側面の中央にかけては手の指が引っ掛かる程度の凹部５が切削加工され、中密度繊維板１の色を隠し表裏の化粧材と調和がとれるよう合成樹脂塗料で着色されている。合成樹脂塗料としては、ウレタン塗料、アルキッド塗料などが挙げられ、特に制約はない。

前記の凹部５は手の指が引っ掛かる形状であればよく、横Ｌ字形、横Ｖ字形、横への字形、横Ｊ字形などに切削加工される。本発明では、怪我を防止するため角がなく、また指詰めを防止するため横への字形が選択され、しかも、凹部の開口面はすべて１〜５Ｒ程度の丸みを帯びている。

【発明の効果】
本発明の手掛け扉は一体成形品であるため、接合部が緩むことがない。また、開口側の両端部には直線部が残されているので取り扱い時に破損することがない。更に、凹部は角がなく丸みを帯びているので怪我をすることがない。
