Description

【0001】

[Industrial applications]
Conventionally, a power supply device for resistance welding or the like requires a large current instantaneously, and thus requires a large-scale power receiving facility. For this reason, the resistance welding power supply device could not be driven in a small company or a general household without large power receiving equipment.
On the other hand, an inverter-type spot welding machine using a storage battery as a power supply has been proposed by the present inventor, and spot welding has become possible with a commercial power supply supplied to ordinary households.
Since the spot welder to be examined uses a DC power source, it was necessary to cut off the DC current when welding was completed.
The present invention relates to a method for forcibly interrupting a large direct current.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a power supply device for resistance welding or the like, it is necessary to frequently open and close a large current every time welding is performed. On the other hand, conventionally, in a system using a commercial power supply as a power supply, a large transformer is used and resistance welding is performed. Therefore, when the firing angle of the primary side of the transformer is controlled by using an electronic switch such as a thyristor, there is no problem in opening and closing the switch because of the power commutation. In the case of an inverter using an IGBT or a bipolar transistor, there is no special problem in this case, because the element itself has an extinguishing ability.
However, there is no example in which a resistance welding machine is realized by a thyristor-type inverter using a storage battery as a power supply at present, except for the present inventor, including Japan. Therefore, there is no conventional technology, and the inventor's technology is the first in the world.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In a resistance welding machine of a thyristor type inverter using a storage battery as a power source, a direct current is used as a power source, so that when welding is completed, it is necessary to cut off the large direct current.
The present invention solves the difficulty of interrupting a large direct current.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention employs the measures described in claims 1 and 2 in order to solve the difficulty of interrupting a large DC current.
(Means 1) In an inverter circuit using a DC power supply, a voltage induced in a commutation reactor accompanying a commutation operation of the inverter is stored in a capacitor, and the DC current flowing through the inverter is forcibly cut off using the stored electric energy of the capacitor. how to.
(Means 2) In a circuit for supplying power from a DC power supply to a load, a method of forcibly interrupting a load current by obtaining electric energy required for forcibly interrupting a semiconductor electronic switch from a commercial power supply independent of a semiconductor electronic switch circuit. .
(Means 3) In a circuit for supplying power from a DC power supply to a load, not limited to an inverter, electrical energy required for forcibly shutting off a semiconductor electronic switch is obtained from a commercial power supply independent of a semiconductor electronic switch circuit and a load current. How to forcibly shut off.
