本発明は、番組情報提供方法及び番組案内方法及び番組情報提供装置及び番組案内端末及び番組情報提供プログラム及び番組案内プログラム及び番組情報提供プログラムを格納した記憶媒体及び番組案内プログラムを格納した記憶媒体に係り、特に、視聴者の嗜好に合った番組の情報を提供する番組情報提供方法及び番組情報提供装置及び番組情報提供プログラム及び番組情報提供プログラムを格納した記憶媒体と、視聴者に番組情報の案内表示を行う番組案内方法及び番組案内装置及び番組案内プログラム及び番組案内プログラムを格納した記憶媒体に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、インターネットのホームページ上などで、自分の好みに合ったテレビ放送番組やインターネット放送番組を検索するものが知られており、この種の検索においては、番組単位に付加されたジャンルや出演者などの情報から、視聴者の指定したジャンルや出演者が含まれる番組を抽出して表示している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来のような番組検索にシステムあっては、番組単位にしか情報を付加していないので、番組内のどの部分が視聴者の嗜好に合っているかが分からず、見たいシーンやコーナーを見逃すことがある。

また、番組単位の情報では嗜好性が高くても、ある時間帯では他のチャンネルの番組の嗜好性が高い場合があり、そのことを知らずに他のチャンネルの番組を見過ごすこともある。

本発明は、上記の点に鑑みなされたもので、リアルタイムに視聴者の嗜好に合った番組の情報を提供できる番組情報提供方法及び番組案内方法及び番組情報提供装置及び番組案内端末及び番組情報提供プログラム及び番組案内プログラム及び番組情報提供プログラムを格納した記憶媒体及び番組案内プログラムを格納した記憶媒体を目的とする。

本発明は、番組情報提供装置と番組案内端末がネットワークを介して接続されているシステムにおける、視聴者の嗜好にあった放送番組の情報を提供する番組情報提供方法において、
視聴者毎に、視聴者属性／嗜好情報データベースに蓄積された、番組を視聴する予め設定された視聴者毎の属性及び嗜好情報を読み込み（ステップ１）、
番組データベースに蓄積された、予め設定されたチャンネルで放送される番組の情報が蓄積された番組表及び該番組表に設定されている番組に対して所定時刻毎に付加された番組コンテンツメタデータを読み込み（ステップ２）、
視聴者属性／嗜好情報データベースと番組データベースから読み込んだ情報から、チャンネル毎に放送される番組の所定時刻毎の視聴者の嗜好度合を計算し（ステップ３）、
嗜好度合の情報を予め設定された番組案内端末に送信する（ステップ４）。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面と共に本発明の実施の形態を説明する。

本発明において、放送とは、電波放送・インターネット放送・ＣＡＴＶ放送等を含むものとし、以下の実施の形態では、インターネット放送を例として説明するが、本発明は、当該インターネット放送に限定されるものではない。

同図に示すシステムは、番組情報提供装置１０、番組案内端末２０、これらを接続するネットワーク３０から構成される。

番組情報提供装置１０は、予め設定された視聴者の属性及び嗜好情報を蓄積している視聴者属性／嗜好情報データベース（ＤＢ）１１と、インターネット放送の各チャンネルで放送される番組の情報が格納された番組表及び、その番組表に設定されている番組で、その番組の出演者やジャンル等の情報が所定時刻毎に付加された番組コンテンツメタデータを蓄積している番組データベース（ＤＢ）１２と、視聴者属性／嗜好情報ＤＢ１１と番組ＤＢ１２の情報に基づいて視聴者毎の各番組の嗜好度合を算出し、該当する視聴者に送信する番組嗜好度合計算部１３と、ネットワーク３０と接続され、ネットワーク３０を介して通信を行うネットワークインタフェース（Ｉ／Ｆ）１４とを備えている。

番組案内端末２０は、放送番組を受信し、外付けの表示部４０に受信した放送番組を表示する番組受信部２１と、番組受信部２１を制御する番組制御部２２と、番組情報提供装置１０から送信されてくる番組の嗜好度合の情報を受信して蓄積する嗜好度合データベース（ＤＢ）２３と、嗜好度合ＤＢ２３の情報を参照して、表示部４０に嗜好度合情報を表示したり、嗜好度合に応じた番組のチャンネル変更を番組制御部２２に指示したり、番組制御部２２から現在受信している放送番組のチャンネルを取得する嗜好度合制御部２５と、ネットワーク３０と接続されネットワーク３０を介して通信を行うネットワークインタフェース（Ｉ／Ｆ）２４とを備えている。

番組情報提供装置１０は、視聴者属性／嗜好情報ＤＢ１１内に、視聴者毎の視聴者属性情報（例えば、年代、性別）と視聴者嗜好情報（例えば、好きな出演者名や好きなジャンル）を蓄積している。ここで、視聴者属性情報や視聴者嗜好情報は、予め設定していてもよいし、視聴者が実際に視聴した番組のデータに基づいて書き換えるようにしてもよい。

また、番組ＤＢ１２には、放送される番組の情報を設定した番組表と、この番組表内の各番組について、予め設定された時間間隔毎の番組の情報（例えば、出演者、番組ジャンル、ターゲットとする年齢層）が番組コンテンツメタデータとして蓄積されている。

そして、番組嗜好度合計算部１３は、視聴者の番組案内端末２０からの要求（例えば、視聴者のチャンネル切替をトリガとした要求や予め設定された時間間隔毎の要求）により、その視聴者の要求された時間帯に放送される番組を番組ＤＢ１２の番組表から検索し、その番組の番組コンテンツメタデータを番組ＤＢ１２から読み出し、要求してきた視聴者の視聴者属性情報及び嗜好情報を視聴者属性／嗜好情報ＤＢ１１から読み出し、これらの情報から、予め設定された時間間隔毎の各番組に対する視聴者の嗜好度合を算出する。

ここで、視聴者属性情報として年代、視聴者嗜好情報として好きな出演者と好きなジャンル、番組コンテンツメタデータとして出演者、ジャンル、ターゲット年齢層を蓄積している場合の例を図４を参照して説明する。

同図に示すように、番組コンテンツメタデータとして、時刻Ｔ０〜Ｔ１では、出演者がＰ１，Ｐ２，Ｐ３、ジャンルがＡ，ターゲット年齢層がＸ年代、時刻Ｔ１〜Ｔ２では、出演者がＰ１，Ｐ４，Ｐ５，ジャンルがＢ，ターゲット年齢層がＸ年代、時刻Ｔ２〜Ｔ３では、出演者がＰ１，Ｐ４，Ｐ６、ジャンルがＣ、ターゲット年齢層がＹ年代、という番組がある。

この番組に対し、視聴者属性情報として年代がＸ、視聴者嗜好情報として好きな出演者がＰ１，好きなジャンルがＡという情報を持つ視聴者の各時刻での嗜好度合は、番組コンテンツメタデータと視聴者属性情報／嗜好情報の項目毎に一致するものがあれば、ポイント１とし、各項目のポイントを加算して、その時刻での嗜好度合とする。

このように計算すると、上述の番組の視聴者の嗜好度合は図４の下のグラフのように、時刻Ｔ０〜Ｔ１間では３ポイント、Ｔ１〜Ｔ２間では２ポイント、Ｔ２〜Ｔ３間では１ポイントとなる。なお、ここでは、１項目１ポイントとしたが、各項目に重み付けをして、その重みを各項目のポイントに掛けるようにしてもよい。

このような嗜好度合の計算を、要求された時間帯の各チャンネルの各番組に対して行い、図５に示すような視聴者の嗜好度合情報を作成し、要求元の視聴者の番組案内端末２０に送信する。

番組案内端末２０では、ネットワークＩ／Ｆ２４を介して、受信した嗜好度合情報を嗜好度合情報ＤＢ２３に蓄積し、嗜好度合制御部２５が表示部４０に図５のグラフに示す通りの嗜好度合情報を表示する。

図７（ａ）の視聴者嗜好度合においては、時刻ｔｘでは４チャンネルの嗜好度合α４＿ｔｘと６チャンネルの嗜好度合α６＿ｔｘと８チャンネルの嗜好度合α８＿ｔｘは、値の大きい順にα６＿ｔｘ，α８＿ｔｘ，α４＿ｔｘの順であるので、表示部４０には、図７（ｂ）のように表示し、時刻ｔｙではα８＿ｔｙ，α４＿ｔｙ，α６＿ｔｙの順であるので、表示部４０には図７（ｃ）のように表示する。

また、図８に示すように、番組受信部２１により表示部４０に現在表示しているチャンネルの、現在時刻から予め設定された時間後までの間の嗜好情報の遷移を嗜好度合制御部２５が嗜好度合ＤＢ２３を参照して算出し、表示してもよい。また、嗜好度合制御部２５が、時間間隔毎に次の時間間隔の各チャンネルの嗜好度合を参照し、嗜好度合が一番高い番組のチャンネルを求め、番組制御部２２が番組受信部２１を制御して、そのチャンネルを表示部４０に表示させるようにしてもよい。

このような本実施の形態においては、各番組の予め設定された時間間隔毎の出演者やジャンルなどの番組コンテンツメタデータと視聴者の属性や好きな出演者・ジャンルなどの嗜好情報に基づいて、予め設定された時間間隔毎の視聴者の嗜好度合を算出し、その情報をもとに、視聴者に対して番組案内を行うものである。

また、本発明の他の実施の形態としては、番組情報提供装置１０が送信する嗜好度合情報に、各時刻の番組コンテンツメタデータと視聴者属性情報及び嗜好情報との間で一致した項目内容（例えば、図４のＴ１では、出演者Ｐ１やジャンルＡなど）を番組内容情報として追加して送信するようにする。

番組案内端末２０は、このような情報を嗜好度合ＤＢ２３に蓄積しておき、嗜好度合制御部２５が、現在時刻から予め設定された時間後の各チャンネルの嗜好度合を参照し、嗜好度合が一番高いチャンネルの項目内容情報を、例えば、図６の時刻ｔ１のときであれば、８ｃｈの嗜好度合が高くなるので、８ｃｈの項目内容情報を参照し、その情報が出演者であれば、図９に示すように、「８ｃｈ○○さんが登場」というように表示する。

また、番組制御部２２において、チャンネルが変更されたとき、嗜好度合制御部２５が、変更前のチャンネルの嗜好度合の情報を参照し、図１０（ａ）に示すように、嗜好度合が上昇し、予め設定された時間内で予め設定された値より大きい嗜好度合がある場合、その時間の項目内容情報を、例えば、ジャンルであれば、図１０（ｂ）に示すように「もうすぐ△△が始まるよ」というように表示する。
