本発明による表示用両面ラベルは、各々がその一面に所要の表示内容が印刷されかつ粘着材を介して相互に粘着される一対の表紙部と、一方の表示部の端部から外方へ延びかつ他方の表示部に面する側に粘着材が付着された支持部とから構成される。これらの表紙部および支持部は慣用のラベル用連続用紙や連続用紙に用いられる用紙から形成される。このように構成される本ラベルは、その裏面に粘着材を介して剥離紙を付着されたラベル用連続用紙の表面に、実質的に同一の寸法形状を有する一対の表示部の領域と支持部の領域とを連続用紙の幅方向の一側端から他側端に向かって順次に画定するように、一対の表示部に表示されるべき所要の表示内容を連続用紙の長さ方向へ並列して印刷する。次いで、ラベル用連続用紙の裏面に付着された剥離紙を剥離し、ラベル用連続用紙を一対の表示部の領域間で折り曲げることにより一対の表示部を粘着材を介して相互に粘着させ、剥離した剥離紙をラベル用連続用紙の裏面に再び付着させ、そして、表示部の表示内容を含む所定のラベル形状にラベル用連続用紙を打ち抜くことにより形成される。
