Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a package for a flexible duct, and in particular, does not cause partial breakage or inadvertent elongation when transporting the flexible duct or at a store display, and injuries due to a cut surface at the end of the flexible duct. The present invention relates to a flexible duct package that can be prevented.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The flexible duct is a hollow cylindrical shape obtained by spirally winding a band having a plurality of ribs in the longitudinal direction thereof and fitting the side edges of adjacent bands to each other. In order to achieve this, it is used after being compressed in the axial direction to reduce the overall length after production, and then expanded to the required length at the construction site.
[0003]
Here, when the flexible duct is compressed and / or expanded, there is a problem that the fitted side edge is crushed or the side edge is disengaged and is partially damaged, and this problem is solved. For example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 3-18078 discloses a means for performing this.
[0004]
In this means, when manufacturing the flexible duct, after fitting the side edges of the adjacent band-shaped body, it is further molded into a valley or mountain shape by further pressing this fitting portion, This is means for improving the fitting force between the side edges.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, with the flexible duct of this means, if a local tensile stress is applied to the flexible duct during transportation or at a store display, the band-shaped body will be disengaged, causing partial breakage or inadvertent elongation. There was a problem that a problem would occur.
[0006]
In addition, particularly in the case of a metal flexible duct, sharp burrs and chips are attached to the end face thereof, and there is a problem that these burrs and chips cause injury.
[0007]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to prevent the flexible duct from being partially damaged or inadvertently stretched even when a local tensile stress is applied to the flexible duct when transporting the flexible duct or at a store display. An object of the present invention is to provide a flexible duct package that can prevent injuries due to burrs and chips.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present inventor has conducted intensive studies in view of the above, and as a result, in a flexible duct package in which a bendable and expandable flexible duct is packaged, the flexible duct is compressed in the axial direction to shorten the entire length, and the flexible duct is heated. The above-mentioned problem is caused by inserting the shrinkable film into the cylindrical body, melting and joining the end opening of the cylindrical body, heat-treating the cylindrical body, shrinking the cylindrical body to substantially the same shape as the outer shape of the flexible duct, and packaging. Have been found, and the present invention has been completed.
[0009]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The tubular body in the present invention encloses the outer peripheral surface of the flexible duct and both end surfaces thereof. Even if a local tensile stress is applied to the flexible duct, the tensile stress is dispersed to partially damage the flexible duct. This is intended to prevent inadvertent elongation and prevent the occurrence of injuries due to burrs and chips on the end surface of the flexible duct.
[0010]
In this tubular body, two opposite sides of a four-sided heat-shrinkable film are fusion-bonded to each other to form a tubular body having both ends opened, or one end of the tubular body. Some parts are melt-bonded to form a bag.
[0011]
The heat-shrinkable film in this cylindrical body is a synthetic resin film subjected to a uniaxial or biaxial stretching treatment, and specifically, as a material thereof, a polyvinyl chloride resin film, a polyethylene resin film, a polypropylene There are a resin film, an ethylene-vinyl acetate polymer film, a polyvinylidene chloride film and the like.
[0012]
The thickness of the heat-shrinkable film can be appropriately selected and adopted according to the diameter, length, and weight of the flexible duct to be packed, as long as the above-mentioned effects can be obtained.
[0013]
The flexible duct in the present invention is a hollow tubular body that is bendable and expandable and contractable, and is compressed in the axial direction to shorten the entire length, and its outer peripheral surface and both end surfaces are wrapped by a tubular body of a heat-shrinkable film. It is stable and protected.
[0014]
Note that the flexible duct in the present invention is a hollow cylindrical shape obtained by spirally winding a synthetic resin or metal band having a plurality of ribs in the longitudinal direction and fitting the side edges of the adjacent band. It is used for indoor ventilation, air conditioning piping, and the like.
[0015]
The package of the flexible duct of the present invention compresses the flexible duct in the axial direction to shorten the entire length, inserts the flexible duct into the heat-shrinkable film cylindrical body, and melt-welds the end opening of the cylindrical body. Then, the tubular body is heat-treated to be contracted to a shape substantially the same as the outer shape of the flexible duct, and the process is completed. When the packaged flexible duct is used, the flexible duct may be extended to a required length after tearing and opening the tubular body.
[0016]
Further, in the flexible duct package of the present invention, the quality and use of the flexible duct are provided between the outer peripheral surface of the flexible duct and the tubular body and / or between the longitudinal end of the flexible duct and the tubular body. A display member made of paper or a plastic film for explaining the method or the like may be inserted, and the heat-shrinkable film itself may be colored.
[0017]
According to the present invention, in a flexible duct package in which a bendable and stretchable flexible duct is packaged, the flexible duct is compressed in its axial direction to shorten its entire length, and the flexible duct is placed in a tubular body of a heat-shrinkable film. Inserting, melting and joining the end opening of the tubular body, heat-treating the tubular body, shrinking it to almost the same shape as the outer shape of the flexible duct, and packaging it, when transporting the flexible duct or displaying it in stores At this time, even if a local tensile stress was applied to the flexible duct, partial damage or inadvertent elongation did not occur, and it was possible to prevent the occurrence of injuries due to burrs and chips on the end face of the flexible duct.
