Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an auxiliary handrail used by a Western-style toilet user to support his body.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When a person who needs care due to illness or injury uses a toilet, a handrail for supporting the body is required. Generally, in a Japanese-style toilet, a toilet is disposed at a position where a user faces a wall surface, and the distance between the wall surface and the user is relatively short. Therefore, in a Japanese-style toilet, if the handrail is fixed to the wall in front of the user, the user can grasp the handrail with both hands and securely support the body.
[0003]
On the other hand, the toilet of the Western-style toilet is disposed at a position relatively far from a wall surface to which the user faces, and a relatively large space is provided in front of the user. Therefore, in a Western-style toilet, it is difficult for the user to support the body even if the handrail is fixed to the wall in front of the user. Therefore, when attaching a handrail to a Western-style toilet, it is usually fixed to the side wall of the user.
[0004]
4A and 4B are views showing a state in which a conventional handrail is installed on a wall surface in a Western-style toilet room, where FIG. 4A is a plan view and FIG. 4B is a side view. That is, the handrail 13 is fixed to the side wall surface 11 of the toilet 10.
However, when the handrail 13 is fixed at this position, the user must twist the body in order to grasp the handrail 13 with both hands. Alternatively, when the user grips the handrail 13 with one hand, the body lacks stability. In particular, when a person in need of nursing care uses a Western-style toilet, it is not only difficult for the user to reliably support the body in any case, but also there is a risk of falling.
[0005]
In order to safely and reliably support the body while avoiding such danger, it is necessary to fix the handrail 13 at an angle of 90 ° to the wall surface 11. When the handrail 13 is attached vertically from the wall surface 11 and the handrail 13 is fixed in front of the toilet 10, the user can hold the handrail with both hands and securely support the body.
However, if the handrail 13 is fixed in front of the toilet 10 of a Western-style toilet, it will hinder the user from entering and leaving the Western-style toilet room. In particular, in a Western-style toilet, a door (not shown) is often provided on a wall surface in front of the toilet 10. When the handrail 13 is fixed in front of the toilet 10 in the Western-style toilet having such an arrangement, the handrail 13 is installed between the toilet 10 and the door. As a result, when the user enters and exits the Western-style toilet room, there is a danger of falling over.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide an auxiliary handrail which can solve the above-mentioned problems and can safely and surely support a user of a Western-style toilet and does not hinder entry into and exit from a Western-style toilet room.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to a column fixed in a Western-style toilet room, a beam held by the column, a movable frame moving along the beam, a pivot frame rotatably disposed on the movable frame, A telescopic member that is rotatably mounted at one end to the gantry and rotatably mounted at the other end to the beam or column, and expands and contracts in accordance with the rotation of the gantry; An auxiliary for a Western-style toilet having a gantry fixing member fixed to the movable gantry, a fixing releasing member for enabling the rotation gantry fixed by the gantry fixing member to be rotatable, and a gripping member disposed on the gantry It is a handrail.
[0008]
In the above-described invention, as a preferred embodiment, it is preferable to attach the beam so as to be movable along the column and fixed at an arbitrary position.
In addition, it is preferable that one end of the elastic member is attached so as to be movable along the rotating gantry and fixed at an arbitrary position.
Further, it is preferable that the rotating gantry is fixed to the movable gantry at an angle of 90 ° with respect to the beam.
[0009]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 is a view showing a state in which an auxiliary handrail of the present invention is stored beside a Western-style toilet bowl, (a) is a plan view, and (b) is a side view.
As shown in FIG. 1, the column 1 is fixed in a Western-style toilet room. Although FIG. 1 shows a state in which the column 1 is fixed to the wall surface 11 and the floor surface 12 in the Western-style toilet room, it may be fixed to the wall surface 11 or the floor surface 12 according to the situation in the Western-style toilet room. In addition, various materials such as a wooden panel or a tile are used for the wall surface 11 and the floor surface 12 in the Western style toilet room. Therefore, the means for fixing the column 1 is not limited to a specific configuration, and any conventionally known means such as a bolt or embedding may be appropriately selected and used.
[0010]
The column 1 is thus fixed and holds the beam 2. As described later, when the user of the Western-style toilet holds the gripping member 8 to support the body, the height of the beam 2 needs to be kept constant. However, in order to adjust the height of the gripping member 8 according to the condition such as the height of the user, it is preferable that the beam 2 can be moved along the column 1. However, after the height adjustment is completed, the beam 2 is fixed to the column 1 and used. The means for fixing the beam 2 at a predetermined position is not limited to a specific configuration, and any conventionally known means such as a bolt or a cylinder may be appropriately selected and used.
[0011]
The movable gantry 3 is attached to the beam 2 so as to be movable. Means for moving the movable gantry 3 along the beam 2 is not limited to a specific configuration, and any conventionally known means such as wheels and lubricants may be appropriately selected and used.
The rotating gantry 4 is attached to the movable gantry 3 so as to be rotatable. One end of a telescopic member 6 is attached to the rotating base 4 so as to be rotatable. The other end of the elastic member 6 is rotatably attached to the beam 2 or the column 1. If the elastic member 6 is rotatably supported by the rotating gantry 4 and the beam 2 in this manner, the beam 2 can be moved along the column 1 without any trouble when the height of the gripping member 8 is adjusted. FIGS. 1 and 2 show an example in which the elastic member 6 is attached to the beam 2.
[0012]
Further, a gripping member 8 is provided on the rotating gantry 4, and the user of the Western-style toilet fixes the rotating gantry 4 as described later, and holds the gripping member 8 to support the body. Although FIG. 1 shows an example in which the gripping member 8 is provided on the upper surface of the rotating gantry 4, the gripping member 8 may be provided on the side surface of the rotating gantry 4.
2A and 2B are views showing a state in which the auxiliary handrail of the present invention is fixed in front of a Western-style toilet bowl, wherein FIG. 2A is a plan view and FIG. 2B is a side view.
[0013]
That is, when the user of the Western-style toilet supports the body with the auxiliary handrail of the present invention, as shown in FIG. Then, the user grasps the grasping member 8. Here, to fix the rotating gantry 4 at a predetermined angle with respect to the beam 2 means that the rotating gantry 4 is fixed to the front of the user, and the user grasps with both hands without twisting the body. This refers to fixing the member 8 at a position where the member 8 can be grasped. Accordingly, the angle formed by the fixed rotating base 4 with respect to the beam 2 is usually 90 °, but may be appropriately set according to the situation in the Western-style toilet room.
[0014]
At this time, the movable gantry 3 moves along the beam 2 with the rotation of the gantry 4, and the elastic member 6 expands and contracts while rotating. The elastic member 6 expands and contracts in the length direction and changes in length. One end of the elastic member 6 is attached to the rotating gantry 4, and the other end is attached to the beam 2. Since the expansion and contraction member 6 expands and contracts while rotating with the rotation of the rotation gantry 4, it must be rotatably attached to the rotation gantry 4 and the beam 2. The elastic member 6 is not limited to a specific configuration, and may be appropriately selected from conventionally known members such as a cylinder and a gas damper.
[0015]
When fixing the rotating gantry 4 to form a predetermined angle with respect to the beam 2, the rotating gantry 4 is fixed using the gantry fixing member 5. FIG. 3 shows an example of the gantry fixing member 5 used in the auxiliary handrail of the present invention. That is, FIG. 3A is a diagram illustrating a state where the gripping member 8 is stored beside the toilet 10, and FIG. 3B is a diagram illustrating a state where the gripping member 8 is fixed in front of the toilet 10.
[0016]
As shown in FIG. 3A, the gantry fixing member 5 is attached to the movable gantry 3. On the other hand, the unlocking member 7 is attached to the rotating shaft 14 of the rotating gantry 4 and the recess 9 is provided. When the position of the concave portion 9 matches the position of the gantry fixing member 5 as shown in FIG. 3B by rotating the rotating gantry 4, the gantry fixing member 5 rises and enters the concave portion 9. Then, the rotating base 4 is fixed. Means for raising the gantry fixing member 5 is not limited to a specific configuration, and any conventionally known means such as a spring or a cylinder may be appropriately selected and used.
[0017]
In this manner, the rotating gantry 4 is fixed to the moving gantry 3 at a predetermined angle by the gantry fixing member 5 and the extendable member 6 is erected between the rotating gantry 4 and the beam 2. The form composed of the moving gantry 4 and the telescopic member 6 is fixed, and the moving gantry 3 is prevented from moving along the beam 2. Therefore, the position of the gripping member 8 provided on the rotating base 4 does not change, and the user of the Western-style toilet can grip the gripping member 8 with both hands without twisting the body, so that the body can be safely and reliably held. We can support it.
[0018]
When the user of the Western-style toilet supports the body with the gripping member 8, it is necessary to keep the position of the gripping member 8 constant. However, in order to adjust the distance between the gripping member 8 and the toilet 10 according to the condition such as the height of the user, it is preferable that one end of the elastic member 6 can be moved along the rotating gantry 4.
That is, when one end of the elastic member 6 moves along the rotation gantry 4, the other end of the elastic member 6 is attached to the beam 2, so that the length of the elastic member 6 changes. At this time, since the rotating gantry 4 is fixed to the movable gantry 3 at a predetermined angle, the movable gantry 3 moves along the beam 2 according to a change in the length of the elastic member 6. Thus, the distance between the gripping member 8 and the toilet 10 can be adjusted.
[0019]
However, after the adjustment of the distance between the gripping member 8 and the toilet 10 is completed, the mounting position of the elastic member 6 is fixed to the rotating gantry 4 before use. The means for fixing the attachment position of the elastic member 6 is not limited to a specific configuration, and any conventionally known means such as a bolt or a cylinder may be appropriately selected and used.
Further, when a stopper (not shown) is provided on the beam 2 to prevent the movable gantry 3 from moving excessively, even if a failure occurs in the gantry fixing member 5 or the telescopic member 6, the user can be prevented from tipping over. And safety is further improved.
[0020]
Next, when the user of the Western-style toilet stores the gripping member 8 beside the toilet 10, the fixing of the rotating gantry 4 is released using the fixing release member 7, and the gripping member 8 is rotated. For example, in the example shown in FIG. 3, when the fixing release member 7 is pressed down, the gantry fixing member 5 descends and separates from the recess 9. If the rotating gantry 4 is rotated in this state, the gripping member 8 can be stored beside the toilet 10.
[0021]
Since the gripping member 8 can be stored in the side of the toilet 10 in this manner, the user of the Western-style toilet can enter and leave without any trouble.
Further, if a mechanism for fixing the rotating frame 4 is provided in a state where the gripping member 8 is stored beside the toilet 10 (that is, the angle between the rotating frame 4 and the beam 2 is 0 °), the conventional handrail can be provided. It can be used as well.
[0022]
【Example】
As shown in FIG. 1, the auxiliary handrail of the present invention was installed in a Western-style toilet room. The support 1, the beam 2, and the gripping member 8 were made of an aluminum alloy. The column 1 was fixed to the wall surface 11 and the floor surface 12 with bolts. The gantry fixing member 5 is set up by using a spring to fix the gantry 4 by setting the angle between the gantry 4 and the beam 2 to 90 °. The extension member 6 uses a cylinder, and the movable gantry 3 incorporates wheels so that it can easily move along the beam 2.
[0023]
Then, each time the Western-style toilet is used, the rotating gantry 4 is rotated and fixed in front of the toilet bowl 10 as shown in FIG. 2, the gripping member 8 is gripped and weight is applied, and as shown in FIG. The grip member 8 was stored beside the toilet 10.
Thus, the auxiliary handrail of the present invention was used for 30 days. During that period, no deformation of the support 1, the beam 2, and the gripping member 8 occurred, and the movable gantry 3, the gantry fixing member 5, and the telescopic member 6 did not have any failure.
