Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.直交符号分割マルチプルアクセス(OCDMA)無線通信システムであっ て、 少なくとも1つの基地局と、 複数の遠隔加入者端末と、 変調器と、 直交函数符号の組の発生源と、 単一の搬送波上の直交函数信号の組の大きさを低減するための手段と、 追加の加入者容量のための直交周波数間隔を持つ追加の搬送波を用いて、時間 基準エラーとマルチパス遅延拡散とに起因するアクセス雑音に対するOCDMA の感度を下げるための手段と、 を具備するシステム。 2.前記少なくとも1つの基地局が陸上に配置される、請求項1記載の無線通 信システム。 3.通信衛星を含み、前記少なくとも1つの基地局が前記通信衛星を介して前 記遠隔加入者端末と通信する、請求項1記載の無線通信システム。 4.少なくとも1つの基地局とデータを通信するための複数の加入者/ユーザ ー端末とを備えた直交符号分割マルチプルアクセス(OCDMA)無線通信シス テムにおいて、 送信機手段が、 前記データを受信するように接続されたMPSK変調器手段と、 前記MPSK変調器に接続された二相変調器(BPSK)手段と、 前記MPSK変調器に接続され、R−Wチッピング・レートだけ離れた選択可 能な搬送波周波数を発生する搬送波周波数シンセサイザと、 所与のR−W函数の組を選択するための手段を有するR−W函数組発生器と、 選択されたPN符号信号を提供するPN符号発生器と、 選択された所与のR−W函数信号の組を前記PN符号信号と加算するための手 段であって、前記選択されたR−W函数の組がシンボル期間にわたって直交して いる2進シーケンスの組の要素である手段と、 前記二相変調器からの前記複合信号を放送周波数帯域へアップコンバートして 送信する手段と、 を具備する通信システム。 5.前記複合信号を受信し復調して前記データを再生するための受信機手段を 備える、請求項4記載のシステム。 6.前記受信機手段が、 別のPN符号信号を提供する別のPN発生器手段と、 別のR−W函数信号の組を提供する別のR−W函数発生器手段と、 前記別のPN符号信号と前記別のR−W函数の組の信号とを加算して拡散解除 (despreading)・復号信号を提供する手段と、 前記別のPN発生器と前記別のR−W函数発生器とを制御するNCOを有する 符号位相追跡ループと、 前記複合信号と前記拡散解除・復号信号とを受信して拡散解除・復号された出 力信号を生成するミキサ手段と、 NCOと特定の搬送波周波数を選択するための手段とを有する搬送波周波数追 跡手段と、 を備える、請求項5記載のシステム。 7.少なくとも1つの基地局とデータを通信するための複数の遠隔加入者端末 とを備えた直交符号分割マルチプルアクセス(OCDMA)無線通信システムに おける、時間基準エラーとマルチパス遅延拡散とに起因するアクセス雑音に対す るOCDMAの感度を下げる方法であって、 (1)単一の搬送波上の直交信号の組の大きさを低減する段階と、 (2)追加の加入者容量のための直交周波数間隔を有する追加の搬送波を提供 する段階と、 を備える方法。
