2. Description of the Related Art The surface of a plate-like material such as a wood board, an inorganic board, an organic / inorganic foam and a plastic, a composite board with a metal has various irregularities, wormholes, cracks and the like caused by raw materials and manufacturing processes. There are many defects, and the appearance of the product is not good as it is, and it often causes problems during secondary processing such as finish coating and overlay. Therefore, in order to repair the defective portion on the surface of the plate-like material and improve its surface property, a method of applying various paints has been adopted. However, it is no exaggeration to say that these coatings are strictly limited to the surface of the plate-like object, and the side surface thereof, that is, the surface of the wood, has been made quiet in the past. In the case of a wooden plate-like object such as plywood, even if the surface of the plate-like object is painted, the coating film on the surface cannot follow the contraction / expansion of the plate-like object itself due to changes in temperature and humidity, and the coating film cannot be synchronized. In the case of being tough and highly flexible, the plate-shaped material may push up the coating film to cause eye-lifting, and conversely, when the coating film is fragile, the coating film may be cracked and cracks may occur.

Therefore, in plywood and the like, moisture and humidity gradually infiltrate through the exposed wood mouth and swell, often impairing the commercial value. In addition, since the wood mouth is exposed, an inorganic plate such as a gypsum board is often weakened from the edge and is damaged, or glaring is generated on the coated surface. In the case of a single laminated plate (LVL) or rock wool plate, there is a problem that the appearance is inferior because defects such as irregularities on the surface of the wood remain. On the other hand, recently, a method of taping the wood surface has been proposed, but it has drawbacks such as complicated work, high equipment cost and high material cost, and a uniform tape on uneven plate-like material. It is a difficult technique to attach such a sticker, and the fact is that the repair effect is not sufficient. Since surface processing such as surface coating is usually performed mainly on the plate-shaped object, most of the coating or processing equipment sends the plate-shaped object to the coating apparatus with the front surface or the back surface as the upper surface. It has a structure. Therefore, the wood surface to be applied in the present invention is usually an upright surface. There is a need for a coating agent and a coating method that can be coated evenly on the wood surface in such a state.

(2) A coating composition (150 g / m 2 ) is evenly applied to the surface of plywood such as a 30 cm square plywood for concrete formwork, and dried at 120 ° C. for 3 minutes. Inner diameter 6 in the center of the coated plywood
A transparent pipe made of, for example, acrylic resin having a length of 0 mm and a length of 150 mm is installed upright, the lower end of the pipe is completely sealed with plywood with an adhesive, and after curing at room temperature for 7 days, the weight of the plywood and the pipe is measured. Water is poured into the pipe to a height of 50 mm and left for 3 hours. Drain the water in the pipe and weigh the plywood and pipe. Calculate the water absorption rate by the following formula. Water absorption rate (%) = [(B−A) / A] × 100 (II) where A: weight before treatment (g) B: weight after treatment (g) The pipe in this test is completely coated with plywood. It can be used as long as it can be adhered in a sealed state and has no water absorption. In addition to the above pipe, for example, a glass pipe or the like can be used. In addition to the above characteristics, the present invention has a nonvolatile content of 50% or more when dried at 105 ° C for 3 hours, and when the coating composition is a liquid at room temperature, the viscosity at 23 ° C is 0.1 to 100 Pa.・ S

If the fluidized width in the slump test after 3 minutes is larger than 200 mm after 3 minutes, the coating composition drips immediately after coating, and uneven thickness occurs in the vertical direction after drying, and a uniform coating film cannot be obtained. . Further, if the water absorption rate of the coating film exceeds 1.0%, when applied to the wood mouth surface, moisture permeates from the wood mouth surface to the inside of the plate-like object through the paint film, which promotes the occurrence of eye float and cracks, which is not preferable. . If the fluidization rate is greater than 1.2, the coating agent will drip and a uniform coating film cannot be obtained. Further, the coating composition (coating agent) has a large elongation, and a hole is formed in the filling portion to be repaired on the surface of the mouth, so that stable waterproof performance cannot be obtained. On the other hand, when using hot-melt or moisture-curable urethane resin as the coating agent, the nonvolatile content after drying at 105 ° C for 3 hours is 50% or more, and it is heated to be completely liquid. Viscosity at 0.1 to 100 Pa
-It must be S. If it deviates from the range, dripping or scraping occurs frequently, and proper coating work cannot be performed.

It is also possible to use a structure that is housed in a box with a free guide plate lid. In this case, the doctor roll moves to the coating roll side when no plate-shaped object is sent, Further, it is possible to prevent the agent from drying, and further, the member for applying the coating agent and the member for pressing the coating agent are 1) a blade having a knife shape, and the blade and Installed in parallel and / or in parallel and vertically, 2) Installed in parallel to both knurls of a plate-like object, and cutting the coating liquid reservoir so that the coating agent contacts a piece of the knurled surface Those having an elliptical shape can also be used. At this time, if the cut is made over the entire surface, the coating agent does not converge and overflows. Therefore, it is necessary to suppress the cut at a predetermined position.

FIG. 5 shows a slit-shaped discharge nozzle (discharge port).
It is a figure which shows an example of the method of apply | coating the coating agent 5 discharge-applied from from with the application member which is called a fugo-shaped box in this specification which follows and pressurizes with the tongue of the upper edge of a discharge port. Fungo Box 11
Numeral 1 is a width slightly larger than the width (plate thickness) of the wood mouth surface, and has a coating liquid discharge port 112 at the tip as shown in the drawing, and further for pressurizing in a form where the upper edge of the discharge port extends at the tip. Of the tongue piece 113. The discharge port 112 is slightly narrower than the width of the wood port, and is normally a narrow opening, but the coating liquid is a tongue piece.
Since it is smoothed by 113, small holes may be provided continuously. In the fungo-shaped box 111, the coating agent 5 is supplied from the coating agent supply port 114 at the rear part thereof, discharged from the discharge port 112, applied to the wood mouth surface 4a, and pressed by the tongue piece 113. Fungo Box 1
The coating agent 5 may be supplied to the tank 11 from a tank T or the like by using a pump P or the like and a pressure resistant hose 115 or the like. By changing the angle at which the fungo-shaped box 111 is in contact with the wood mouth surface 4a, the pressure applied by the tongue 113 at the tip can be changed. It can also be in a non-existent state.

FIGS. 6 and 7 show an example of a method for applying a liquid coating agent having a slightly high viscosity. FIG. 6 is a plan view and FIG. 7 is a schematic cross-sectional view. As shown in the drawing, the gear-shaped coating roll 122 is arranged so that the uneven surface hits the mouth end surface 4a, and the side end on the mouth end surface side is opened. Placed in the coating liquid container 123,
1 shows a coating device 121 in which a movable wall 124, which is a part of a side wall of a container 123, can be adjusted in amount by increasing or decreasing the volume of the container 123 by a piston 125. The method of supplying the coating agent 5 to the coating device 121 is not particularly limited, but in this example, the device 12 is supplied from the tank T according to the coating amount.
The structure is such that it flows down into 1 and is supplied. The coating roll 122 may be rotated (forward rotation) in the same direction as the transport direction of the plate-shaped material 4, or may be rotated in the reverse direction to operate so as to slide the coating liquid applied to the wood mouth surface 4a. Is also good. In this way, the application roll 122 can be normally rotated to apply without pressure, and the reverse rotation can be applied with pressure.

FIGS. 8 and 9 are modified examples of FIGS. 6 and 7, wherein a coating tool 130 having a rotating shaft 131 and a plurality of gourd-shaped coating blades 132 is used instead of the gear-shaped coating roll. Is an example using. The applicator 130 is rotated by the application liquid container 133 having an open side end on the side of the mouth end to apply the application liquid. Smearing tool 1
30 is rotated in the forward or reverse direction to cause the same action as the coating roll 122. In the figure, 134 is an adjusting plate for adjusting the position of the plate-like object 4, 135 is a pressurizing plate for leveling the applied coating liquid, each of which is operated by a piston 126.
The method for supplying the coating agent 5 to the coating liquid container 133 is not particularly limited, but in this example, the structure is such that it is supplied by being dropped from the tank T into the coating liquid container 133 at any time according to the coating amount. FIG. 10 shows another example of a method for applying pressure by applying the coating liquid. In the figure, reference numeral 141 indicates a contoured pressure plate for the surface 4a, 142 a pressure plate for the front surface of the plate-like object 4, and 143 a pressure plate for the back surface. As shown in FIG. 11 (a), when the coating liquid 5 applied to the grain surface 4 a is pressed by the tracing pressure plate 141, the coating liquid 5 may come out to both the front and back sides of the plate-shaped object 4. . If the coating liquid squeezed out on both the front and back surfaces of the plate-shaped material 4 is left as it is, there is a problem that the coating films on the front and back surfaces do not become smooth. Therefore, it is advisable to press the squeezed coating liquid over the front and back surfaces. When the viscosity of the coating liquid is low, it only hangs down below the surface of the wood.
It is also possible to use only the pressure plate 143 that conforms to the back side (FIG. 11).
(See (b)). When the viscosity of the coating liquid is slightly high, the plate-like material 4 protrudes on both the front and back sides, so that the pressing plates 142 and 143 on the front and back sides are used together (see FIG. 11C).
In the case of this example, a doctor knife-shaped thin steel plate may be used as the tracing pressure plate, but it is difficult to align the positions of the pressure plates with each other, so that as shown in FIG. It is preferable that each of the pressure plates on the front surface and the back surface is a thick plate body having a curved surface that gradually approaches from the entrance direction of the plate-like object 4 toward the plate-like object surface so as to contact the plate-like object surface.
Profile pressure plates 141, 142, 143 made of thick plates
Are arranged as shown in FIGS. 10A and 10B, so that the coating liquid 5 is applied to the side end portion of the plate-like object 4 as shown in FIG. 11C.

12 and 13 are modified examples of the above-mentioned FIG.
This is a method of using as the follower pressure plate 150, a plate body having a thick coating, which is provided with the coating liquid reservoir 151 on the side surface thereof, that is, on the side surface contacting the wood mouth surface 4a. The coating liquid pool 151 is provided with a curved surface similar to the curved surface provided on the tracing pressure plate of FIG. 10, so that the applied coating fluid is pressured. The coating liquid is supplied to the coating liquid reservoir 151 by an appropriate means according to the coating amount. Profiled pressure plate 150 of this example
May have a shape in which the cross section in the same direction as the width direction of the plate-like object 4 is also in contact with the back surface of the plate-like object 4, such as a “” shape. In this case, the plate-like object 4 may be sent by, for example, the sending roll 9.
