Description of the Related Art Sanitary paper products such as toilet paper and kitchen towels are widely embossed in accordance with the required properties such as texture, liquid absorption, beauty, and ease of wiping. In many cases, the sheet becomes bulky due to embossing, but as a result, the sheet has a large diameter during winding, and in the case of a laminated body, the height of the laminated body is increased, resulting in an increase in distribution cost.

As a countermeasure against this, if the tension of the sheet is increased during processing, or compression processing is performed after lamination, the emboss is crushed or disappears, and the cosmetic appearance is impaired. Furthermore, when embossing is made shallow so as not to give bulk, the effect of embossing is not sufficiently exerted. It is hoped to develop a compact embossed paper product that does not easily crush the embossing, has a good texture even if the tension is increased during processing to make it tightly wound or compressed. If the number of embossed pieces is less than 50 pieces / cm ² , the texture of the unevenness is strongly felt. If the embossing depth is less than 0.05 mm, the cosmetic effect cannot be obtained.
