As shown in FIG. 3, the electrostatic latent image formed on a photoconductive member (not shown) having photoconductivity is developed by using a developer 5 composed of a powder ink toner and a carrier frictionally charged with the toner. In the developing device 1 of the electrophotographic apparatus, the developer 5 is less likely to be charged during the printing operation, and printing cannot be performed sufficiently. Therefore, in order to enable replacement with a new developer 5 after performing a certain printing operation, a developer discharge port (not shown) in the developing device 1 and a developing process for introducing the developer 5 into the developing device 1 are performed. Generally, the agent inlet 2 is provided. The developer charging port structure of the conventional developing device is provided with a slope-shaped tray member 3 that facilitates charging of the developer 5 and guides the developer to the developer charging port 2. In order to prevent the toner from scattering from the developer input port during the operation, the removable lid 8 is provided.

不具合があった。However, the conventional developer inlet structure of the developing device has the following problems. As shown in FIG. 4, in the conventional developer input port structure of the developing device 1, the developer input port 2 is provided with a lid 8 so that the toner is not scattered from the developer input port during the operation of the developing device. However, since the developer 5 is poured into the tray member 3 from the developer storage container 6 such as a bottle when the developer is charged, the lid 8 must be removed, and the developer charging port 2 is used to charge the developer. Since the toner 5 is wide open so that the developer can easily flow, the toner 7 wound up inside the developing device 1 scatters to the outside of the developing device 1 through the gap a1 between the developer 5 and the developer 5 into which the developing device 1 flows. There was a problem that stains the surrounding area.

This will be described with reference to FIG. The developer input port 2 of the developing device 1 is a slope-shaped tray that facilitates the input of the developer into the developer external port of the developer input port 2 and guides the developer to the developer input port 2. A member 3 is provided. A second lid 4 which can be opened and closed by applying a load is provided between the developing device inlet 2 of the developer input port 2 and the tray member 3. The second lid 4 which can be opened and closed uses a sheet-shaped elastic body. Furthermore, the second that can be opened and closed
The lid 4 can be opened and closed by fixing only the upper side of the four sides of the upper, lower, left and right sides to the developing device, and not fixing the other three sides, with the upper part of the lid as a fulcrum. In the normal state, the openable and closable second lid 4 is in a state in which the developer input port 2 is closed. As shown in FIG. 2, when the developer is charged, the developer 5 is poured from the developer storage container 6 such as a bottle to the tray member 3.
The poured developer 5 is guided to the developer input port 2 by the slope of the tray member 3. The lid 4 flows into the developer 5
The developer 5 is loaded into the inside of the developing device 1 through the developer loading port 2 by the load. At this time, since the gap a1 between the developer input port 2 and the developer 5 flowing in is closed by the openable second lid 4, the toner 7 is scattered from the inside of the developing device 1 when the developer is input. Is prevented. Also, when the developer 5 is completely charged and the developer 5 does not flow into the developer charging port and the load is not applied to the lid 4, the lid 4 is closed. It is possible to prevent the toner 7 from scattering from the inside of the developing device 1.
