ど種々な目的で土壌表面に木材チップ等のマルチ材を撒
布形成することが行われている。木材チップを主材と
し、これに目的に応じて草花の種子や肥料、殺虫剤、着
色顔料その他の配合剤を混合調整して各種のマルチ材を
撒布する場合、従来は配合機と撒布機を個別に用意して
いたから作業が不便である上、工事仕様の切替えや撒布
土壌の情況に即した配合設定が即時且容易にできなかっ
た。 【0003】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明は、撒布土壌や
工事仕様に臨機に対応して、撒布途中において顆粒状
(固体)配合剤及び液状配合材の種類及び割合を変更で
きる混合撒布方法を提供するものである。 【0004】 【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、木材チップの
搬送管路に設けた粒状配合剤収容ホッパから配合剤を管
路内に供給して搬送中に混合させると共に複数の液状配
合剤収容タンクから所要の配合剤を夫々専用ポンプによ
って混合給液管に加圧供給して混合させ、前記各混合物
を撒布ホースを接続した放出噴射ノズル内に供給し、撒
布ホース内の高速放出気流によって固液攪拌混合を生じ
させて配合マルチ材を撒布する方法である。本発明にお
いて粒状配合剤及び液状配合剤の数に制限はなく、粒状
配合剤収容ホッパと液状配合物収容タンクの数も任意で

って実施される。図中、1はコンプレッサ(圧力0.6

えば図2のようなノズルが使用できる。チップ材と種子
その他の固体配合剤は、搬送管に所定の設定量で放出さ
れ、混合されながらノズル室内20に導入されて撹乱さ
れる。液剤はポンプから所定圧力で送出され、混合給液
管を流れる間に一部が混合されて一以上の液体霧化ノズ
ル21からノズル室内20に噴射される。固体配合剤は
液剤幕22を通過する間にチップ表面に付着し、この結
果、チップ材は固・液配合剤が共に付着した濡れ材とな
ってホース内に送出される。更に、ホース内では高速気
流によって管内攪拌されるから個体配合剤の嵩密度や液
剤の比重が異なっても実質的に均等混合されたマルチン
グが可能になる。 【0007】マルチ用チップ材は、図3のように準備さ
れる。即ち、伐採材を破砕機でチップ化すると共に18
mmメッシュによって選別し、マルチ材としてはオーバ
ーサイズのものを使用し、アンダーサイズのものは堆肥
用材として使用する。マルチ用チップ材の利用例は、図
4乃至図6に示すようであって、粒状配合剤としては、
芝などの種子、肥料及び殺虫剤などが要求されるのでそ
の数だけホッパ5A、5Bを用意する。液状配合剤とし
ては、水、水性着色顔料、液肥、水溶性殺虫剤、液状難
燃剤などがあり、夫々専用タンクを必要とするが、液量
が少なくて済む殺虫剤等は図1のように、例えば切替え
弁12C、12Dと連絡管13を設けてポンプ11Dを
節約できる。なお、図6に示す緑化マルチの場合は、堆
肥化させたチップに客土・砂などを予め混合しておく必
要がある。 【0008】 【発明の効果】マルチ材の配合割合を変更する場合は排
出ロータ6又はポンプ11Aなどの回転数を調節すれば
よく、マルチ材の配合種を変更する場合も排出ロータ6
又はポンプ11Aなどを開閉するだけで対応できる。上
記実施例装置は、大型自走車輌に装備したり、固形物の
輸送系だけを大型車輌に設置し、タンク系を牽引車輌に
搭載させるなどして移動性を向上できる。また、ホース
長は200m以上にもできるから車輛が進入できない林
間や傾斜地のマルチングが可能になる他、飛行場や公園
などの広大な施工地の緑化マルチングやカラーマルチン
グを短期間に施工できる。
