【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】本発明は、給水栓のパッキン座研削工具に
係わり、より詳細には、給水栓の損傷したパッキン座を
給水栓をその配管から取り外すことなく簡単に研削する
ことが出来る、給水栓のパッキン座研削工具にかんす
る。
【0002】従来より給水栓の給水口からの水漏れ対策
としてはコマパッキンの交換が先ず考えられたが、水漏
れの原因としてはコマパッキンの損傷だけで無く給水栓
のパッキン座も漏水による腐食等によりその表面が損傷
している場合が少なくなく、この様な場合には水漏れを
完全に止めることは出来なかった。
【0003】従って水漏れを完全に止める為にはコマパ
ッキンの交換だけで無く損傷したパッキン座も修復する
ことが必要となるが、今までは誰でも簡単に修復出来る
ような工具が無かったために結局水漏れをそのまま放置
するか、パッキン座の損傷した給水栓をその配管から取
り外して新品の給水栓と交換するしかなく非常に無駄で
あった。
【0004】本発明は、給水栓の損傷したパッキン座
を、給水栓をその配管から取り外すことなく、又特別な
技術を必要とすることなくその表面を研削することによ
り修復することが出来る工具を提供することにある。
【0005】上記課題を解決するための手段としての本
発明の給水栓のパッキン座研削工具は、軸にスプリング
と穴の開いた袋ナットを回転自在に挿入し、該軸の概ス
プリング側の端部に概円盤状の砥石、該袋ナット側の端
部にハンドルをそれぞれ該軸に固定して取り付けた構造
となっている。
【0006】そして損傷した給水栓のパッキン座を研削
するには、元栓を締めて水を止めた後、該給水栓のスピ
ンドル、キャップナット、コマパッキン等をはずし、本
工具を該給水栓に挿入して砥石面をパッキン座にあてが
い、袋ナットをスプリング反力に抗して手で押さえ込ん
で該給水栓の概キャップナットが付いていたネジ部にね
じ込んで本工具を該給水栓にセットし、ハンドルを回す
ことにより該砥石の面で該スプリングの反力により概パ
ッキン座を研削する。
【0007】本工具は、スプリングにより砥石面はパッ
キン座を常に垂直方向に押さえ付けているため、高度な
技術が要求されるパッキン座の研削を誰でも簡単にハン
ドルを回すだけで正しく研削することが出来る。
【0008】以上の説明から明らかなように、本発明の
給水栓のパッキン座研削工具を使用すれば誰でも手軽に
高度な技術を必要とすること無く損傷したパッキン座を
研削出来るので給水口からの水漏れを完全に止めること
が出来るばかりでなく該給水栓の機能も新品同様に回復
するので交換の必要が無くなり非常に経済的である。
【0009】以下、図面を参照しながら本発明を具体化
した実施例について説明する。ここに、図1,図3は本
発明の実施例を示し、図2は本発明をセットする前の給
水栓本体を示す。図1は本発明の正面図、図3は本発明
を図2にセットした時の正面図である。
【0010】本実施例の給水栓のパッキン座研削工具
は、図1,図3に示す様に軸1にスプリング2と穴の開
いた袋ナット3を回転自在に挿入し、軸1のスプリング
2側の端部に概円盤状砥石4、袋ナット3側の端部にハ
ンドル5を、ボルト6とスプリングピン7をもってそれ
ぞれ軸1に固定して取り付けた構造となっている。

を給水栓本体8にセットすれば、スプリング2により砥
石4はパッキン座9を常に垂直方向に押さえ付けている
ため、ハンドル5を回すだけでパッキン座9を正しく研
削することが出来る。
