Description of the Related Art Behind a bumper at the rear of an automobile, there is a ventilation device for releasing the pressure inside the vehicle when the door is opened and closed and for replacing air inside the vehicle while the vehicle is traveling. As shown in FIG. 9, the air that has entered from the front of the vehicle compartment or the like is exhausted intensively to the outside of the vehicle through the ventilation port 60 of the ventilation device. Frame body 6 forming the ventilation port 60
A sheet-like valve body 3 is attached to the seat-like valve body 3 and the sheet-like valve body 3 is opened or closed according to the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the vehicle to adjust the air volume when the door is opened or closed or while the vehicle is running. Here, when the sheet-shaped valve element 3 hits the sealing surface 69 of the frame body 6 during the opening / closing operation, a so-called rattling sound is generated. Since this pattering sound is felt as abnormal noise by rebounding repeatedly, a sound absorbing material 9 made of a porous material such as urethane slab is usually attached to the frame body 6 in a vehicle ventilation device.
If not set on the frame body 6, it has been provided on the body side.

The sound-absorbing material 9 that has absorbed water has a problem that the sound-absorbing performance is drastically lowered, and in the case where the sound-absorbing material 9 is made of urethane foam, it is hydrolyzed. On the other hand, when the sound absorbing material 9 is attached to the body, the sound is diffused because the sound absorbing material 9 is separated from the ventilation port 60 that is the sound source, and the sound absorbing material 9 must be provided in a wide range to reduce the diffused sound. However, the cost increased.

The hollow body may have any shape such as a hollow cylinder or a hollow prism. The hollow body is connected to the tubular portion 11 via the communication portion to form a resonator utilizing the Helmholtz resonance principle. The hollow body can be formed separately from the tubular portion 11 and can be connected to the tubular portion 11 via a communicating portion such as a communicating pipe. However, in the muffler S of the present embodiment, the hollow box forming portion 2a that is integrated with the tubular portion 11 by causing the tubular portion 11 to carry at least one wall surface of the hollow box 2 and the tubular portion 11 to the inside O of the hollow box. A resonance type resonator having a communication hole 13 penetrating therethrough. In the present embodiment, the hollow box forming portion 2a is a rectangular body having an opening on one side, and the opening surface is the cylindrical portion 1a.
The hollow box 2 which is the box body of the silencer S is formed by covering the upper cylindrical wall 11a of the unit No. 1 with the cylindrical unit 11. The box shape of the hollow box 2 is not limited to the hollow body such as a hollow prism like the hollow body. For example, the hollow box forming portion 2a having a bowl shape with one surface opened, and the opening surface may be covered with the upper cylindrical wall 11a of the cylindrical portion 11 to form the hemispherical hollow box 2 integrally with the cylindrical portion 11. The upper cylindrical wall 11a extends forward from the valve seal portion 112 like a visor as shown in FIG. 2 and has a larger area than other portions.
A larger hollow box 2 can be made using 1a. In FIG. 2, the lower surface opening of the rectangular box-shaped hollow box forming portion 2a is closed by the upper cylinder wall 11a to form a hexahedral hollow box 2. Hollow box 2 whose upper cylinder wall 11a is a hexahedron
Constitutes one wall surface of. After the opening peripheral edge Y of the hollow box forming portion 2a is brought into contact with the upper cylindrical wall 11a, the opening peripheral edge Y
Is ultrasonically vibrated by the ultrasonic horn 7 as shown in FIG. 3 and welded to the upper cylindrical wall 11a. The vibration energy generated from the ultrasonic vibrator and transmitted to the horn 7 is applied to the hollow box forming portion 2a, and the opening peripheral edge Y is thermally melted and welded to the upper cylinder wall 11a. The method of integrating the opening peripheral edge Y of the hollow box 2 with the upper cylinder wall 11a may be hot plate welding, vibration welding, or simply bonding with an adhesive, in addition to the ultrasonic welding. Since these are all post-processes, from the viewpoint of cost reduction, it is more preferable to use DIS (die slide injection) molding in which two parts are welded in the mold. DIS molding is an injection molding method developed by Japan Steel Works, Ltd.

The hollow box 2 is completed almost at the center of the upper cylinder wall 11a by the integration with the above, and the communication hole 13 formed in the upper cylinder wall 11a penetrates into the hollow box O to form the resonance silencer S. . The so-called patter sound generated by the sheet-shaped valve body 3 hitting the valve seal portions 112 to 114 can be silenced even by the silencer S of the small-capacity hollow box 2 provided at the center of the upper cylindrical wall 11a by adjusting the diameter of the communication hole 13. The claw projections 15 located on the upper side are arranged on both sides of the hollow box 2. Although the number of the communication holes 13 in the present embodiment is one, the number and size of the communication holes 13 and the size of the hollow box 2 are determined according to the frequency at which sound is to be absorbed. The communication hole 13 may be formed in the upper cylinder wall 11a by post-processing, but the cost can be reduced by forming the communication hole 13 so as to correspond to the mold slide when the frame body 1 is molded. In addition,
Since the hollow box 2 is formed in the center of the upper tubular wall 11a, when the ventilation device P with a silencer is attached to the vehicle body panel 5, the hollow box 2 must also pass through the body opening 50 together with the tubular portion 11. No, body opening 50
As shown in FIG. 1, a portion 501 through which the hollow box 2 passes is deeply cut into a convex shape.

に示す。(3) Noise Comparison Test Next, regarding the ventilator P with the silencer of the first embodiment and the ventilator with the silencer S removed therefrom, the sheet-shaped valve body 3
Since the sound pressure of so-called rattling sound accompanying the opening and closing operation of was measured comparatively, this will be described. The noise is measured by rotating the sheet-shaped valve element 3 in the front-back direction so as to open and close the ventilation port 110 to generate a rattling noise (FIG. 7), and ventilating the microphone so that the wind pressure during the valve element operation does not affect. The sound pressure was measured at a distance of about 10 cm from the device. Since mechanical sound is generated when rotating with a jig, it was done manually. Also, in order to prevent the variation due to manual work, the sound pressure measurement value is 10
The maximum value measured for 2 seconds was taken, the number of measurements n was performed 3 times, and the average value thereof was used as data. The result is shown in the graph of FIG.

低騒音化するものと推定される。The muffling characteristic of the perforated muffler S is obtained by the equation (1). f = (c / 2π) {P / (t + 0.8d) L} 1/2 [Hz] (1) where, c is the speed of sound in the air, L is the air layer, and t is the silencer S.
The plate thickness, d is the diameter of the communication hole 13, and P is the aperture ratio of the perforated plate. In this comparative test, each value was set using the formula (1) in order to reduce noise below 200 Hz, and the measurement result also showed the resonator effect in the F zone in the vicinity thereof (FIG. 8). Regarding the noise in the passenger compartment, in recent years, it has become more beneficial to reduce the low frequency around 200 Hz because high frequency can be sufficiently reduced by an indoor sound absorbing material such as carpet. Also,
The conventional product with only a ventilation system has an overall value of 79.3 dB.
On the other hand, the product of the present invention of the ventilator P with a silencer also obtained a low noise effect with an overall value of 77.9 dB. It is difficult to directly suppress the vibration noise generated when the sheet-shaped valve element 3 hits the valve seal portions 112 to 114 of the frame body 1. According to the ventilator P with a muffler of the present invention, it is estimated that the sound pressure energy generated there is absorbed from the communication hole 13 and is diffusely reflected by the inside O of the hollow box to attenuate the sound pressure energy and reduce noise. A hollow box 2 is formed by utilizing the upper cylindrical wall 11a of the above and the flange portion 12, and the ventilation port 1 is provided in the hollow box O.
Since the muffler S is provided with the communication hole 13 penetrating from the 10 side, noise countermeasures can be taken at low cost. It is sufficient to add the hollow box forming portion 2a to the conventional ventilation device and provide the communication hole 13. The hollow box 2 and the communication hole 13 form a resonance type silencer S to reduce noise. Therefore, the resonance type silencer S itself is provided with a sound absorbing action, and unlike the case where the sound absorbing material 9 is used, the influence of rainwater is reduced. Stable sound absorption performance can be maintained for a long time without worrying about deterioration. If the upper cylinder wall 11a is provided with the communication hole 13 as in the above-described embodiment, it is difficult for water to infiltrate even in the case of rainwater or car washing, and even if water is inundated, it is smoothly discharged, so that sound absorption is not lowered. Although the method of fixing the sound absorbing material 9 depends on tape adhesion or the like and there is a risk of peeling, there is no such concern. Furthermore, although the sound absorbing material 9 cannot adjust the target frequency, the ventilator P with a muffler has a communication hole 13
It can be easily handled by selecting the hole diameter. If a plurality of silencers S are provided, noise can be reduced by aiming at a plurality of frequencies.

The shape, size, number, material and the like of the frame body 1, the silencer S, the hollow box 2, the hollow box forming portion 2a, the sheet-like valve body 3, the sealing member 4, etc. can be appropriately selected according to the application. In the embodiment, the upper tubular wall 11 of the tubular portion 11 is used.
Although the hollow box 2 is made using only a, the hollow box 2 can be made using the side wall 11b of the tubular portion 11 in addition to the upper tubular wall 11a.
