Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a cutter device for a thermal printer using roll paper, and more particularly to an automatic cutter device driven by a roller type motor. 2. Description of the Related Art In an automatic sheet cutter for transmitting a drive of a motor called a roller type to a wire to move a round blade, when the movement of a rotary blade of the cutter stops during cutting of the sheet. Since the driving force is absorbed between the pulley and the wire, slippage occurs between the wire and the pulley, causing abrasion. This causes a problem in the cutting operation, which causes a problem that the life of the automatic cutter is limited by the life of the wire and the pulley. Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 6-67040 discloses a mechanism for absorbing an overload generated in a cutter mechanism. This mechanism is a cutter mechanism in which driving force is transmitted to a wire wound around a pulley driven by a motor via a gear train,
A slip mechanism is provided between the gear train and the pulley to absorb overload, and mechanically absorbs impact force. An object of the present invention is to provide a cutter apparatus in which a drum is rotated by driving a motor to move a wire and a round blade fixed to the wire. An object of the present invention is to provide a cutter device that includes means for alleviating sudden deceleration of a round blade, thereby reducing a strong impact applied to a wire and a pulley. [0004] An automatic cutter apparatus according to the present invention comprises a fixed blade extending in a paper cutting direction and a holder fixed to a wire which is moved by a driving force transmitted from a motor via a drum. And a cutter mechanism comprising a rotatable round blade. The cutter mechanism repeatedly turns on and off the applied current of the motor when stopping the motor every time the paper cutting is completed. Chopper control means is provided. [0007] Next, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1A is a front view of the automatic cutter device of the present invention, and FIG. FIG. 1A shows an automatic cutter device according to the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 2, a fixed blade 2 is arranged at right angles to the sheet conveying direction, is fixed to a base frame 1, and a round blade 5 rotatably held by a holder 3 has an edge portion fixed to the fixed blade 2. With the wire 11 driven around the pulley 10 by the motor 6 in the contact state, the paper 11 slides at right angles to the transport direction of the paper 12. Such a round blade 5
The paper is cut in a direction D perpendicular to the transport direction. The round blade 5 held by the holder 3 is first positioned at the cutting start position A by the sensor 4 and moves in the width direction of the paper while rotating while the edge portion of the round blade 5 is in contact with the fixed blade 5. Is cut off, and hits a stopper provided at an end of the base frame 1 to be positioned at the position B and stop moving. At one end, the wire 11 is rotatably held by a pin provided on the base frame 1 and is wound around a drum 7 driven to rotate by a motor 6, and is driven at the other end. 1 is wrapped around a pulley 10 rotatably mounted on a pin provided on an arm plate 9 which is slidably mounted on a pin provided on 1. The pulley 10 is biased outward with respect to the center of swing by a spring 8 connected to the lower end of the arm plate to apply tension to the wire 11. Next, the operation of the above-described automatic cutter device of the present invention will be described. Turn on the thermal printer power
Then, the sensor 4 is turned on, and the round blade 5 moves to the start position A (home position) in FIG. When the motor 6 rotates forward, the drum 7 rotates and the wire 11 wound around the drum 7 rotates.
Moves, and the round blade 5 held by the holder 3 fixed to the wire 11 moves in the direction D to cut the sheet. The round blade holder 3 that has finished cutting the paper moves to a position B where it comes into contact with a stopper at the end of the base frame. In this case, the driving of the motor 6 is controlled so as to rotate forward for a certain period of time, and this is the time required for the round blade to start moving and hit the stopper of the base frame 1 and stop. However, the length is increased by adding a margin time in consideration of the load applied during the cutting of the paper. The control of the motor at this time is such that when the motor starts normal rotation and the round blade 5 passes the center of the paper in the cutting direction, the applied current to the motor is switched to the chopper control means to turn on / off the applied current. Control to repeat. This control is performed for a predetermined time including the margin. When the current applied to the motor is cut off in this manner, the operation of the motor is performed by chopper control (FIG. 2) that repeats stop and forward rotation, so that the round blade is brought into contact with the stopper of the base frame. Deceleration can be slow. FIG. 3 shows the relationship between the current waveform of the cutter and the moving speed of the round blade. FIG. 3A shows a case of normal control, and FIG. 3B shows a case of chopper control. In a normal case, the current is turned off at the stopper position and the speed of the round blade is rapidly reduced because the current is turned off. On the other hand, in the cutter device according to the chopper control of the present application, the chopper control that repeats ON / OFF of the application of the current to the motor causes the movement of the round blade when hitting the stopper as shown in FIG. By suppressing the speed, the deceleration can be performed slowly, and the impact force applied to the wire or the drum can be reduced to suppress the wear of the wire or the drum. In the cutter device for transmitting the driving force of the motor to the wire and cutting the paper by moving the round blade fixed to the wire, when the operation of the motor is stopped, the stop of the motor is performed. By performing chopper control that repeats forward rotation, the movement speed of the round blade when the round blade hits the base frame is slowed down, thereby reducing the impact applied to the wire and drum when the round blade stops. The size is reduced, and the wear of the wire and the drum can be minimized, and the life of the cutter device can be extended. Moreover, the effect of the present application can be realized easily and at low cost by using the chopper control means.
