BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a front view of the vicinity of a needle tip portion of an acupuncture and moxibustion needle showing an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a plan view of the same, and FIG. 3 is a sectional view of the same. 1 to 3, the needle body 1
A tapered needle tip portion 2 is formed at the tip end of the needle, and a groove 3 is provided on the surface of the needle body 1 on the needle tip portion 2 side in parallel with the axis of the needle body 1. The width W of the groove 3 is in the range of 1 to 60 μm (more preferably 1 to 40 μm), and the depth D is 1 to 60 μm.
(More preferably 5 to 60 μm). The needle body 1 has a diameter of about 0.1 to 0.5 mm. In other words, the needle body 1 is provided with a groove 3 which does not affect the insertion of the needle as an acupuncture needle and is used for the purpose of collecting a small amount of blood or holding a drug. A plurality of grooves 3 may be provided, and the number thereof is not particularly limited. When performing micro blood collection using an acupuncture needle with such a groove 3, simply insert it into a blood vessel and pull it out.
Blood can be collected in the groove 3. Therefore, it becomes easy for a diabetic patient or the like to perform micro blood sampling. Transdermal administration of a drug can be performed, for example, as follows. At the manufacturing stage, the acupuncture needle with the groove 3 is dipped in the solution of the medicine, the surface is wiped, and the solution is attached only in the groove 3. Then, this is freeze-dried to obtain a needle with a drug. Therefore, the medicinal drug can be transdermally administered by inserting the needle into a living body. As the medicine, for example, a local anesthetic can be considered. The overall shape of the acupuncture needle is shown in Fig. 4.
As shown in (A), a plastic needle handle 4 may be integrally formed on the proximal end side of the long needle body 1 to form a normal acupuncture needle, or as shown in FIG. 4 (B), The base end side of the needle body 1 may be wound in a plane orthogonal to the needle tip 2 side to form the support portion 5, and the adhesive plaster 6 may be attached to the support portion 5 to form a circular band needle with an adhesive plaster. . If it is used as a plaiting needle with a plaster as shown in FIG. 4 (B), it can be applied continuously for 24 hours, and the blood drug concentration in blood can be kept constant for a long time. The drug concentration can be adjusted by the number of needles to be inserted. That is, since the amount of the drug released from one needle can be calculated, the concentration of the drug in the blood can be adjusted by attaching the needle to two or three needles and an appropriate place on the body.
