便器２の上面と重なる部分の前方側に溝１ｂが形成さ
れ、この溝１ｂ内にシール材３が充填されている。シー
ル材３は、便器２上面と局部洗浄装置１の底面とが重合
する部分に対応する左右の露出部３ａと中央の湾曲部３
ｂとからなり、露出部３ａは舌状部３ｃと挟圧部３ｄと
からなる。なお湾曲部３ｂは断面略Ｕ字形状に形成して
いる。（図３参照）局部洗浄装置１の底面１ａには前記
挟圧部３ｄ及び湾曲部３ｂを収納するための溝１ｂ及び
溝１ｃを連続形成する。なお、溝１ｂ及び１ｃの形成部
位は、本実施例では中央領域は便鉢開口部２ａの縁部に
沿うようにやや後方側へ湾曲させ、側方領域では底面１
