Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overdrying of clothes in a drying process for improving finish of the dried clothes in a washing and drying machine having a process for suppling hot air into an inner tub for drying laundry and capable of performing a series of processes from washing to drying sequentially. SOLUTION: An inner tub 32 having the rotation center axis in the vertical direction substantially and storing the laundry is supported freely rotationally, and hot air heated by a heater 38 is fed into the inner tub 32 by means of a hot air blower 37. A series of processes of washing, rinsing, spin-drying, and drying are controlled sequentially by means of a control part 57. The control part 57 controlling an air cooling means cooling a heat exchanger 51 by means of a cooling air blower 39 and a water cooling means 50 cooling the heat exchanger 51 by a cooling water is provided with a first process for driving the air cooling means and a second process for simultaneously driving both of the air cooling means and the water cooling means. The control part 57 can optionally set an operation time of the drying process.

Following this first step T1, water is supplied to the heat exchanger 51 through the air cooling means by the cooling blower 39 and the cold water hose 52, and the water supply unit 50 and the cold water hose 52 serve to cool the heat exchanger 51. The second step T2 of cooling the heat exchanger 51 by the water cooling means for cooling the surface is performed for a set time. In the latter half of the drying process, since the clothes are less moist, the heat exchanger 51 is cooled by both the air cooling means and the water cooling means to enhance the dehumidifying ability. Further, by increasing the cooling capacity, the temperature of the circulating hot air is lowered to finish the drying of the clothes. Further, the blowing process is performed until the temperature of the dried clothes (the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 53) reaches a predetermined temperature.

In the drying process, when the clothes are a lot of synthetic fibers and dries quickly, or when the atmospheric temperature is high and the drying is fast, the control means causes the temperature sensor 53 to have a predetermined temperature (for example, 60).
C.), the clothes are less moist in the latter half of the drying process by shifting to the second process earlier than a predetermined time. Therefore, the heat exchanger 51 can be operated by both the air cooling means and the water cooling means. By cooling and increasing the dehumidifying ability to shorten the drying time and increasing the cooling ability, the temperature of the circulating hot air is lowered to finish the drying of the clothes. The other operations are the same as those in the first embodiment.

As described above, according to this embodiment, when the temperature sensor 53 reaches a predetermined temperature in the drying process, the first process is terminated and the second process is started.
When the clothes have a large amount of chemical fiber and dry quickly, or when the ambient temperature is high and the drying is fast, the control means controls the second time earlier than a predetermined time.
By moving to the step of, since the clothes are less moist, the heat exchanger 51 is cooled by both the air cooling means and the water cooling means to enhance the dehumidifying ability and shorten the drying time, and
By increasing the cooling capacity, the temperature of the circulating warm air is lowered to finish the drying of the clothes, so that it is possible to prevent overdrying and improve the finish of the clothes after drying.

Further, according to the invention of claim 3,
In the drying process, the control means determines the execution time of the first process and the second process according to the temperature of the temperature sensor. If it is early, the control means shifts to the second step earlier than a predetermined time, and the clothes are less moist in the latter half of the drying step. Therefore, the heat exchanger 51 is connected to both the air cooling means and the water cooling means. By cooling with, increasing the dehumidifying capacity and shortening the drying time, and by increasing the cooling capacity,
Since the clothes are dried by lowering the temperature of the circulating warm air, overdrying can be prevented, and the clothes after drying can be finished well.
