【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は架空送電線等に設置
され、架空送電線を落雷より保護し、送電線の雷害を低
減させる避雷装置に関し、特に、曲げ荷重によって避雷
素子が破壊するのを防止した避雷器の構造に関するもの
である。

【従来の技術】両端の端末金具同士を複数本の絶縁棒で
連結し、端末金具間に避雷素子を段積みし、避雷素子と
絶縁棒の周りに直接シリコーン樹脂等をモールドした避
雷装置が知られている。図2に上記避雷装置の断面構成
例を示す。図2において、1はFRP等の絶縁棒、2
a,2bは端末金具である。端末金具2a,2bには、
絶縁棒1の両端が圧着等により強固に固着されている。
【0003】絶縁棒1を介して連結された端末金具2
a,2bの間には、複数個の酸化亜鉛素子等からなる避
雷素子3とスプリング4が設けられており、スプリング
4により避雷素子3を押圧し、避雷素子同士を密着させ
ている。上記絶縁棒1、端末金具2a,2b、避雷素子
3から構成される組み立て体は、図2に示すように端末
金具2a,2bの一部を残してモールド材5により一体
モールドされる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】上記構造の避雷器にお
いては、外周がシリコーンゴム樹脂等のモールド材でモ
ールドされているため、避雷器の片側に曲げ荷重が加わ
ったとき変形し、もう一方の端末部では避雷素子がその
縁を支点として曲げ荷重の方向に回転する。そのとき、
図3に示すように、避雷素子3と端末金具2bとは点接
触となり、避雷素子の支点となったA部分には、過大な
圧縮力が加わることになり、避雷素子3の破壊が生じ
る。本発明は上記課題を解決するためになされたもので
あって、本発明の目的は、避雷器の片側に曲げ荷重が加
わったときの避雷素子の支点部分に生じる荷重を緩和
し、避雷素子が破壊するのを防止することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記課題を解決するた
め、本発明においては、避雷素子と接触する端末金具の
面に、素子よりも一回り大きい外周と一回り小さい内周
を持った溝を設けて、その溝に弾性材を充填する。本発
明においては、上記のように構成したので、避雷器の片
側に曲げ荷重が加わったとき、避雷素子の支点となる部
分が、端末金具と直接接触せず、弾性材を介して接触す
るので、避雷素子に生じる荷重が緩和することができ、
避雷素子の破壊を防止することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】図1(a)は本発明の実施例の避
雷装置の断面構成を示す図、図1(b)は図1(a)の
A部の拡大図である。図1において、1はFRP製の絶
縁棒、2a,2bは端末金具であり、前記したように、
端末金具2a,2bに絶縁棒1の両端が圧着等により固
着されている。端末金具2a,2bの間には、複数個の
避雷素子3とスプリング4が設けられており、スプリン
グ4により避雷素子3同士を密着させている。上記避雷
素子と接触する端末金具2bの面には、 避雷素子3より
一回り大きい外周と一回り小さい内周を持った溝6が設
けられ、該溝6にはゴム等の弾性材7が充填されてい
る。また、上記避雷素子3と端末金具2a,2bが接す
る面積は、電気的性能が確保されるに十分なだけの大き
さにされている。上記のように構成された避雷素子3と
絶縁棒1の周りには、シリコンゴム等のモールド材5が
一体にモールドされる。本実施例の避雷器は、上記構成
であるので、避雷器の片側に曲げ荷重が加わり、図3に
示したように避雷素子3がその縁部を支点として曲げ荷
重の方向に回転しても、避雷素子3の角部が上記弾性材
7に接し、避雷素子3の縁部に生じる荷重が緩和され、
避雷素子が破壊されるのを防止することができる。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように、本発明において
は、避雷素子と接触する端末金具の面に、 避雷素子より
一回り大きい外周と一回り小さい内周を持った溝を設
