【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、筐体のパネル構造
に係り、特に電子機器の操作面の成型に適した筐体のパ
ネル構造に関する。

【従来の技術】電子機器の多くは筐体に収納されてい
て、その操作面には操作用スイッチや表示手段の表示窓
等が取付けられている。図2は、このような筐体の操作
面の構造例を示す展開図で、通常は部品を搭載したプリ
ント配線基板2を固定する前パネル3と、この前パネル
3の外側に取付けられて不必要なねじ等を見えないよう
にする化粧パネル4との二重構造となっている。化粧パ
ネル4には、前パネル3と同様にスイッチ操作部や表示
用窓のための穴が開けられており、化粧パネル4,前パ
ネル3はねじにより筐体本体1に固定される。
【0003】このような筐体構造の例として、例えばア
ースを必要とする金属板と筐体との間に、厚さ0.3m
m程度の湾曲した板バネ部材を介在させて、内部回路の
接地を確立し、組立ての作業性を改善したものが特開平
10−223392号に開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】図2のような操作面の
構成の場合、化粧パネル4を固定するねじの数は少ない
方が外観上好ましい。しかし例えば化粧パネル4の四隅
に1本づつのねじ6、6…を使ったとすると、図3に示
したように化粧パネル4と前パネル3との間に隙間5が
生じることがある。これを防止するにはねじの個数を増
やせばよいが、そうすると外観が損なわれ、化粧パネル
4の“化粧”という点での性能が低下し、また筐体の組
立・分解時の作業性も低下する問題がある。
【0005】本発明の目的は、操作面の外観を損なわ
ず、かつ組立・分解時の作業性のよい筐体のパネル構造
を提供するにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、筐体内部に配
置される部品を取付けるための平面状の前パネルと、そ
の短手方向が前記前パネルに向かって凸となるように湾
曲して形成されかつ前記前パネルの外側に配して前記前
パネルとともにねじ止めにより筐体本体に固定される化
粧パネルとの二重パネルからその操作面が構成されたこ
とを特徴とする筐体のパネル構造を開示する。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明の実施の形態を説明
する。図1は、本発明になる筐体のパネル構造の操作面
の構造例を示す展開図である。筐体本体1、前パネル3
は従来の図2と同じ構造であるが、化粧パネル10はそ
の短手方向(図のZ方向)が前パネルに向かって凸とな
るように湾曲しており、長手方向(図のX方向)は直線
状の構造をもつ。操作用スイッチ操作部や表示窓等の穴
の設置は従来と同じである。このような湾曲を与えるの
は、例えば穴あけ工程に続いてプレス加工して湾曲させ
ればよく、1つの作業工程の追加のみですむ。
【0008】化粧パネル10を前パネル3と合わせて筐
体本体1に取付けるとき、長手方向の方が短手方向より
もたわみ易い。このため従来構造では、四隅のねじ止め
では隙間が生じ易かったが、前記のように化粧パネル1
0の短手方向にたわみを与えておいて四隅でねじ6、6
…により図4のようにねじ止めすると、ねじ止めの圧力
により前パネル3に密着する弾性力が働き、長手方向の
たわみを防止でき、従って少ないねじの個数でも隙間を
なくすことができる。

【発明の効果】本発明によれば、部品数及び作業工程が
少なくても化粧パネルを確実に取付けることができ、化
粧の性能が損なわれず、かつ作業能率も向上する効果が
