However, in such a conventional bulb with a reflecting mirror, the reflecting mirror and the base are fixed by thermal expansion of the arc tube due to repeated lighting and extinguishing of the lamp depending on the situation of use. There is a risk that the existing adhesive such as cement will deteriorate and eventually the reflecting mirror will fall. In addition, since it is fixed with an adhesive such as cement, the reflecting mirror may fall off when a strong vibration impact is applied. Further, in the manufacturing process, since it is necessary to accurately irradiate the light forward, the alignment work for accurately aligning the light center of the arc tube and the focal point of the reflector, and the subsequent arc tube and reflector The lamp assembling process is complicated and costly, because the work of aligning the lamp with the base is required, and further, the work of injecting the cement is complicated and the position shifts until the cement hardens. .
Further, with the downsizing of the arc tube, higher accuracy is required for the alignment between the arc tube and the reflecting mirror, and it takes time to make adjustment to satisfy this accuracy.

Further, the base 2 may be provided with a groove only at one place, and the body portion 3b of the reflecting mirror 3 may be caulked in the groove.
In order to firmly and accurately fix the base 2 to which the arc tube 1 is fixed, it is preferable to caulk at two or more places.
As described above, the base 2 and the reflecting mirror 3 can be more accurately and firmly fixed by forming the grooves at the three positions at equal intervals on the outer peripheral surface and caulking them. Further, only a band-shaped groove extending in the circumferential direction of the die or a groove extending in the longitudinal direction of the die may be used, or these grooves may be used in combination. The depths of the grooves 2c and 2d are such that the body portion 3a of the reflecting mirror 3 during caulking.
It is desirable that the thickness of the reflecting mirror 2 be about the same in order to minimize the deformation. The caulking shape may be a general conical shape (needle punching), or may be a wedge shape matching the shape of the groove of the die 2. This is because the contact area is increased as compared with the conical shape, so that the base 2 can be fixed more reliably. The material of the reflector is
Although aluminum is used as a lightweight metal in consideration of workability and portability, a metal such as iron or stainless steel may be used.

A transparent front plate 6 is attached to the front opening of the reflecting mirror 3. As shown in FIG. 3, a holding piece 3c for holding the front plate 6 in advance is integrally molded at the peripheral portion of the front opening of the reflecting mirror 3, and the front plate 6 is inserted into the front opening of the reflecting mirror 3. After mounting, the front end portion of the holding piece 3c is bent by a squeezing roller (not shown) so as to hold the peripheral edge portion of the front surface plate 6 so that the front surface plate 6 is fixed to the front opening of the reflecting mirror 3. Can be provided. In the conventional tube with a reflecting mirror, the reflecting mirror and the front plate are fixed by using another member such as a tightening frame or a metal ring, but as described above, the sandwiching piece 3c is reflected in advance. If it is molded integrally with the mirror, it is not necessary to use a separate member such as a tightening frame or a metal ring, so the number of parts can be reduced compared to the conventional one, and the airtightness required for outdoor use is met. I can respond. Furthermore, the reflector 3 and the front plate 6
By sandwiching a packing (not shown) between and, airtightness is further enhanced and waterproofness is also improved.

The reflecting mirror 3 shown in FIG. 3 is formed by placing a metal block of aluminum on a mold of the reflecting mirror to be obtained and pressing it. After that, evaporate aluminum,
A reflecting surface is formed on the reflecting portion 3a. Here, aluminum was vapor-deposited in consideration of reflectance, durability at high temperature, and familiarity with the base material, but a mirror surface may be finished by chrome plating or the like. At the time of press working, as shown in FIG. 3, the sandwiching piece 3c is continuously provided on the reflecting portion 3a and integrally molded into a substantially L-shape. Thereby, the front plate 6 can be easily placed and aligned on the substantially L-shaped sandwiching piece 3c, and further, when the sandwiching piece 3c for sandwiching the front plate 6 is bent, it is formed into a linear shape. Unlike the one including the sandwiching piece, it is possible to prevent stress from being applied to the reflecting surface of the reflecting portion 3a and the deformation of the reflecting surface.

With such a configuration, in the tube with a reflecting mirror and the method for manufacturing the same of the present embodiment, unlike the conventional case, cement is not used for fixing the base to the reflecting mirror.
The reflecting mirror does not drop due to the deterioration of cement that has occurred in the past, and since the reflecting mirror is firmly fixed to the base by caulking, the reflecting mirror can fall off from the base even if strong vibration or shock is applied. In addition, since the light center of the arc tube and the focus of the reflecting mirror can be adjusted by moving the reflecting mirror back and forth (or up and down), unlike the conventional cement fixing method, It is not necessary to adjust the complex optical center of the arc tube and the focal point of the reflecting mirror by combining the movements, and the assembly can be easily performed.
