However, in order to obtain a gradation image by the intaglio printing method, it is possible to express only by changing the thickness and density of the intaglio printing line, and by utilizing the height difference of the ink plate. It was difficult to express a gradation image. For this reason, it is difficult to express an excellent gradation in a fine image, and there are restrictions in design. Further, since the gradation image is simple, there is a problem that it is easily reproduced by a copying machine or the like. Further, in the conventional gravure printing method, the cells have the same area and the gradation is expressed by the difference in the cell depth, but it is not possible to obtain a printed material with large ink build-up like the intaglio printing method. There was a problem that it was easy to reproduce.

The present invention is intended to solve such a conventional problem, and an excellent gradation image can be expressed only by the difference in height of ink on the intaglio printing line in the intaglio printing method. It is possible to express an excellent gradation image in a fine image / area without being restricted by the design, and it is reproduced as a mixed color of different colors in the part where inks of different colors are overlapped. Since it is difficult to extract the low ink area of the intaglio printing line with the input device, it is difficult to copy it with a printer, etc. Even when copying with a copier, the low ink area of the intaglio printing line can be reproduced. The present invention provides an intaglio printed matter having gradation reproducibility with a semi-transparent ink that is difficult to copy and has an excellent anti-copying effect.

When this printed matter D was observed, the overlapping area 11 of the tint block pattern 9 and the character image 10 could be recognized as a mixed color of cyan and magenta (purple), as shown in FIG. 6C. Further, in the overlapping region 11, it was possible to recognize dark purple in a region where the ink amount of the character image 10 was high and light purple in a region where the ink amount of the character image 10 was low. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6C, it was possible to confirm the character image P having a gradation and being rich in color.

Example 4 A tint block pattern was printed with colored fluorescent ink in the same manner as in Example 2. Using the intaglio printing plate surface of the character image 10 used in Example 2 on the tint block pattern printed with the colored fluorescent ink, the magenta translucent intaglio ink is used so that the letter image overlaps a part of the tint block pattern in the intaglio printing machine. Printing was performed to obtain a printed matter. When this printed matter is irradiated with ultraviolet rays and observed, an area where the tint block pattern and the character image overlap,
It was possible to recognize that the regions that did not overlap emitted light in different colors. Also, in the area where the tint block pattern and the character image overlap, low light emission occurs in the high ink area of the character image,
It was possible to recognize by emitting high light in the area where the ink volume was low.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION An intaglio image composed of an intaglio image line having a constant intaglio image line width and a change in ink deposit is formed on a substrate, and the intaglio image is at least one kind of semi-transparent colored material. An intaglio print image printed with ink is formed, and the intaglio print image is reproduced with a low density (light color) in a low ink area and in a high density (dark color) in an intaglio high ink area. Since it is reproduced in color, it is possible to have a gradation reproduction image of a color following the height of the ink, which cannot be obtained in a printed matter intaglio printed with a normal ink.

According to the present invention, an excellent gradation image can be expressed only by the height difference of the image lines in the intaglio printing method, and a gradation expression with a heap of ink, which cannot be obtained in the conventional gravure printing method, can be obtained. Therefore, it is possible to express an excellent gradation image in a fine image / area without being restricted by the design, and it becomes difficult to extract a portion of the intaglio printing line where the ink level is low with an image input device such as a scanner. Duplication with a printer or the like becomes difficult, and when copying with a copying machine, it is difficult to reproduce the image line of the portion of the intaglio image line where the ink level is low, and the copy prevention effect can be improved.
