Japanese Patent No. 164554 discloses a long leg material and a short leg material as X.
Crosswise and rotatably connected to each other at the intersection, the rear end edge of the horizontal seat plate is rotatably connected to the intermediate position of the long leg, and the front end edge of the horizontal seat plate is also connected. It is shown that the structure is detachably connected to the upper end of the short leg material. This folding chair is entirely folded by removing the front end edge of the seat plate from the upper end of the short leg member and rotating them to a position along the long leg member (see FIG. )reference).

In order to achieve the above object, in the first aspect of the present invention, a base body (1) arranged in an upright posture.
And a pair of leg members (21, 22) that intersect in an X-shape and are rotatably coupled to each other at the intersection, and one leg member (2
The lower end of 1) is rotatably coupled to the lower end of the base body (1), and the upper end of the other leg member (22) engages with guide portions (121, 131) provided on the base body (1). The leg bodies (2A, 2B) that are movable in the vertical direction, and the front end edge (31) in the horizontal posture on the upper ends of the leg members (21).
Is rotatably coupled, and a rear end edge (32) in a horizontal posture is provided on the base body (1) at a guide portion (12).
1, 131) and a seat plate (3) which is movable in the up-and-down direction, and the legs ((1) and (131) are movable as the rear end edge (32) of the seat plate (3) is pulled upward. The crossing angle (θ) of both leg members (21, 22) of (2A, 2B) becomes small, and the front edge (31) of the seat plate (3) and the upper ends of one leg member (21) and the other leg member ( The lower end of 22) is pulled toward the base body (1), and the seat plate (3) and legs (2A, 2B)
Are accommodated in a standing posture that is substantially flush with the base body (1). Here, when fixing the base body (1) to an upright wall or the like, the other leg member (22) can be omitted.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, when folded, the entire chair is pulled toward the base body in the standing posture, and the seat plate and the legs are stored in the standing posture substantially flush with the base body. The entire chair can be compactly stored in a flat shape along with the above, and a sufficient floor space can be secured. When pulling out the folding chair from the stored state and using it, the front edge of the seat plate (the lower edge in the stored state)
Pull toward you. As a result, the upper end of one leg member is pulled toward you, and at the same time, the rear edge of the seat plate (upper edge in the stored state) moves downward along the guide portion, while the upper end of the other leg member is guided. The leg members move downward along the section and open in a state where the two leg members intersect in an X shape. Then, the lower surface of the rear end edge of the seat plate comes into contact with the upper ends of the other leg members, is held in a horizontal posture, and can be seated. As described above, the seat plate and the legs supporting the seat plate can be pulled out from the base body in the upright posture and used with the minimum required amount.

Providing engaging pin bodies (27, 33). According to the second aspect of the present invention, the engagement between the upper end of the other leg member and the rear end edge of the seat plate and the guide portion can be easily realized. In this case, by appropriately setting the thicknesses of the seat plate and the legs, when the seat plate and the legs are stored in a standing posture that is substantially flush with the base body, the same thickness as that of the left and right frame members is set. The amount of protrusion can be set, and the overall appearance is good.

When the folding chair having such a structure is folded and stored from the use state shown in FIG. 1 as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the long hole 321 of the seat plate 3 is put on the fingertips and the seat plate 3 is held. The rear edge 32 is pulled upward as shown by the arrow in FIG. With this pulling up, the rear end edge 32 of the seat plate 3 is moved vertically upward as the pin body 33 moves in the guide grooves 121 and 131. Front edge 31 of seat plate 3
Is coupled to the upper end of the leg member 21 by the shaft member 26, so that the coupling portion by the shaft member 26 is pulled toward the base body 1 as the rear end edge 32 moves upward. Along with this, the pin body 27 at the upper end of the leg member 22 has the guide groove 121,
As the leg members 21 and 22 move upward in 131, the intersection angle θ (FIG. 1) of the leg members 21 and 22 gradually decreases, and the lower ends of the leg members 22 are drawn toward the base 1. Rear edge 32 of seat plate 3
The seat plate 3 is pulled up to the uppermost position (FIG. 2), the frame member 1
It is stored in the upper half space of the back plate 11 surrounded by 2, 13, and 14. At the same time, the left and right legs 2A, 2B and the connecting plate 25 for connecting them are housed in the lower half space of the back plate 11, and the seat plate 3 and the legs 2A, 2B are in a standing posture in the same plane.
Within the thickness (Fig. 3). In this way, the entire chair is compactly stored in a flat shape along the upright wall W of the house, and as a result, a sufficient space for the floor F can be secured.

When the folding chair is pulled out from the stored state and used, a fingertip is inserted from the notch 251 (FIG. 2) of the connecting plate 25 so that the front end edge 31 (lower end edge in the stored state) of the seat plate 3 is moved forward. When pulled downward, the upper ends of the leg members 21 are pulled forward. As a result, the leg member 21 is centered around the shaft member 24.
Is rotated to the front side (clockwise in FIG. 1), and accordingly, the pin body 27 provided at the upper end of the leg member 22 moves downward in the guide grooves 121 and 131 to move both leg members 21 and 21.
The crossing angle θ of 2 gradually increases, the lower end of the leg member 22 advances toward you, and both leg members 21 and 22 open in an X-shaped intersecting state (FIG. 1). At this time, in the seat plate 3, the pin body 33 of the rear end edge 32 moves downward along the guide grooves 121 and 131, and the lower end of the rear end edge 32 comes into contact with the upper ends of the leg members 22.
The horizontal posture is as shown in. In this way, as shown in FIG. 5, it is possible to sit on the seat plate 3 pulled out in the horizontal posture.

If a body restraining belt 4 (FIG. 5) is attached to the upper end of the base 1 and the folding chair is installed on the upright wall W of the patient's room, when the sick person gets up from the bed and rests, The seat plate 3 can be pulled out horizontally from the base body 1 to allow the sick person to sit on it, and the belt 4 can securely hold the body B of the sick person. As the belt 4, for example, a pair of left and right belt members having constant widths are provided with hook-and-loop fasteners on the outer circumference of the leading end of one belt member and the inner circumference of the leading end of the other belt member. In accordance with the above, the belt material is used so that the body B can be easily restrained by connecting the belt materials with the surface fasteners with one touch.
