Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at a low cost an interior finish material for effectively sealing an operation holes by using a buffer material laminated on the interior finish material without using a specific sealing covers etc., the interior finish material being used repeatedly with reliable, steady, and high quality seal maintaining function. SOLUTION: The interior finish material 3 comprising a buffer material laminated thereon, is designed to be applied onto the inside of a vehicle body with operation holes 2 bored thereon, wherein the interior finish material is so configured that the operation hole is sealed by means of the buffer material 4 of the interior finish material via sealing material 5. Thus, the sealing material 5, which has been fitted on the circumference of the operation hole 4 is effectively forced against the circumference of the operation hole so that the operation hole is sealed by means of elasticity of the buffer material 4 itself without using a specific sealing material, which result in reduction of the number of parts, high quality seal-maintaining-function for repeated use, and low cost.

2. Description of the Related Art Usually, various parts are arranged inside a vehicle body (between the panel outer and the panel inner) such as a door panel, a pillar panel or a side rail panel in an automobile. Therefore, a work hole is formed in the panel inner which constitutes the vehicle body. Then, after fitting or maintenance work of the parts, these working holes are closed by a grommet, a grommet sheet, a sealing cover or the like, and then the inside of the vehicle body is covered with an interior material.

The one shown in FIG. 4 is a method of sealing the work hole seal, which has been widely used in the conventional door panel. A lower working hole 12A for assembling a window glass lifting mechanism, an upper working hole 12B for attaching an outer handle of a door, a rod arranging working hole 12C for a door lock, and a door checker work for a door panel inner 11 which constitutes a vehicle body. A working hole 12E and a speaker mounting hole 12D are provided. After fitting, adjustment, and maintenance of each component through these work holes, a sealing cover 13 made of vinyl or the like is joined by an adhesive reusable seal member applied around the work holes, and by any chance, Even when rainwater, dust, or noise from the outside of the vehicle enters the inside of the door, it is prevented from affecting the inside of the door. The speaker mounting hole 12D is usually sealed with a resin frame of the speaker.

However, in the method of closing the seal of the work hole and the disposition structure of the energy absorbing material of the conventional example, the conventional example of FIG. 4 requires application of an adhesive sealing member. The number of steps increases, the sticking of the cover to the seal member varies, the workability deteriorates, the seal quality deteriorates, and the vinyl cover is damaged at the time of peeling and cannot be reused. There was also. Further, in the conventional example of FIG. 5, although the occupant is effectively protected in the case of a side collision by the cushioning material attached to the inside of the interior material,
No measures have been taken for the seal closing function of the working hole.

Therefore, according to the present invention, in an interior material which is mounted inside a vehicle body having cushioning materials laminated and working holes formed therein, a sealing material which fits around the working holes is provided. It is characterized in that the work hole is sealed and closed by the cushioning material of the interior material. Further, the invention is characterized in that the sealing material is installed on the cushioning material side. Further, the present invention is characterized in that the sealing material is installed on the periphery of the work hole. Further, the present invention is characterized in that the cushioning material is a side impacting cushioning material. Further, the present invention is characterized in that the vehicle body is a door panel inner, a pillar panel inner, or a side rail panel inner, and a sealing material, which is arranged in advance around the work hole, is used as an interior material. The elastic force of the laminated cushioning material itself effectively presses against the periphery of the work hole to close the seal, eliminating the need for a special sealing member such as a sealing cover, reducing the number of parts, and ensuring stable and repeated use. It is possible and always possible to obtain a high quality seal maintaining function, which results in low cost.

As shown in the cross-sectional view of the main part of FIG. 1 (A), a cushioning material 4 is laminated and joined inside the interior material 3 (door panel inner side), and the peripheral edge of the door panel inner 1 defining the working hole 2 is formed. It is installed upright like a flange. A sealing material 5 having a U-shaped cross section and the same shape as the working hole 2 is installed on the side of the cushioning material 4 corresponding to the flange-shaped peripheral edge. With these configurations, after the parts are fitted, adjusted, and maintained through the work hole 2, the interior material 3 is attached to the door panel inner 1 with a one-touch clip (not shown) as shown by the arrow, The sealing material 5 is fitted into the periphery of the working hole 2 of the door panel inner 1 without excess or deficiency. At that time, the sealing material 5 is appropriately pressed against the peripheral edge of the working hole 2 of the door panel inner 1 by the elasticity of the cushioning material 4 itself, and the sealing function is effectively exhibited and maintained.

As described above in detail, according to the present invention, in the interior material mounted on the inside of the vehicle body in which the cushioning material is laminated and the work hole is formed, the periphery of the work hole is provided. Since the working hole is configured to be sealed and blocked by the cushioning material of the interior material via the sealing material that conforms to, the sealing material that is arranged to be fitted around the working hole in advance,
The cushioning material itself laminated on the interior material effectively presses against the periphery of the work hole to close the seal, eliminating the need for a special sealing member such as a sealing cover, reducing the number of parts and ensuring stable operation. It can be used repeatedly, and a high-quality seal maintenance function is always available, resulting in low cost.

Further, when the sealing material is installed on the cushioning material side, it becomes possible to integrally mold the sealing material of a similar material at the time of molding the cushioning material, and any parts are installed on the vehicle body side. You don't have to. Further, when the sealing material is installed on the periphery of the work hole, by installing the sealing material on the periphery of the work hole of the vehicle body in advance,
It is safe because there is no risk of damaging your fingers when fitting or maintaining or adjusting parts. Furthermore, when the cushioning material is a cushioning material for side collision, originally, the characteristics of the cushioning material provided for protecting the occupant in the case of a side collision are utilized as they are, and the elastic pressing force of the cushioning material itself is used. The high-quality sealing maintenance function of the sealing material can be obtained.
