【特許請求の範囲】
【請求項１】
照明装置のためのハウジングであって、
（ａ） 直線光源を囲むために充分な直径及び長さを有する中空の直線的な反射性の囲い、及び（ｂ）該囲いと一体の弓形保持部材を備え、
前記囲いがその軸線に平行な長さに沿って伸長する直線的アパーチャを有し、該直線的アパーチャが前記直線的な囲いの内側の幅より小さい最大幅を有し、
前記弓形保持部材が前記アパーチャに沿って伸長し前記アパーチャに沿って並列に固体の円筒型光学要素を保持することを特徴とするハウジング。
【請求項２】
反射性の囲いの反射性材料が９０％に等しいか又はそれよりも大きな反射率Ｒを有する請求項１のハウジング。
【請求項３】
反射性の囲いの反射性材料が９５％に等しいか又はそれよりも大きな反射率Ｒを有する請求項１のハウジング。
【請求項４】
アパーチャに隣接して光学素子を受け入れるための複数の部材を有する請求項１のハウジング。
【請求項５】
光学素子がレンズである請求項１のハウジング。
【請求項６】
レンズが円筒状のロッドレンズである請求項５のハウジング。
【請求項７】
照明装置のためのハウジングであって、
（ａ） 直線光源を囲むために充分な直径及び長さを有する中空の直線的な反射性の囲い、及び（ｂ）該囲いと一体の弓形保持部材を備え、
前記囲いがその軸線に平行な長さに沿って伸長する直線的アパーチャを有し、該直線的アパーチャが前記直線的な囲いの内側の幅より小さい最大幅を有し、
前記弓形保持部材が前記アパーチャに沿って伸長し前記アパーチャに沿って並列に固体の円筒型光学要素を保持し、
前記光学要素を受け入れるとき前記弓形保持部材が前記光学要素に２以上の点で接触し、前記光学要素が前記アパーチャに平行な光入力端、及び該光入力端から離間した光出力端を有し、該光出力端の幅が前記光入力端の幅よりも大きいことを特徴とするハウジング。
【請求項８】
反射性囲いの反射性材料が９０％に等しいか又はそれよりも大きな反射率Ｒを有する請求項７のハウジング。
【請求項９】
反射性囲いの反射性材料が９５％に等しいか又はそれよりも大きな反射率Ｒを有する請求項７のハウジング。
【請求項１０】
光学素子がレンズである請求項７のハウジング。
