Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.中央オフィスから利用可能な呼機能の加入者に対して、該呼機能へのアクセ スを提供するための方法において、 加入者からIPネットワーク又は中央オフィスに接続された回線を介して該中 央オフィスに送られた信号を処理し、加入者の該中央オフィスに対する呼が、中 央オフィスに接続された回線とIPネットワークのいずれを介したものであるかを 判断し、 加入者の中央オフィスに対する接続が該中央オフィスへの回線を介してか、 又はIPネットワークを介してかの何れかを問わず、前記呼機能を加入者に対して 利用可能にするステップを有する方法。 2.IPネットワークとの使用に適した通信システムであって、前記システムは: 複数の互いに接続された中央オフィスを有する公衆電話網を有し、前記複数 の中央オフィスはそれぞれ複数の加入者に接続され、各中央オフィスは当該加入 者を処理し、少なくとも1つの中央オフィスは プロセッサ、スイッチングネットワーク、及びデータベースを有し、 前記プロセッサは: 当該中央オフィスにより処理される加入者用の加 入者回線ユニットと、 その他の中央オフィスに接続されたトランクユニットと、 IPネットワークインタフェースとに接続され、 前記IPネットワークインタフェースは、中央オフィスプロトコルと、IPネット ワークのTCP/IPプロトコル間の変換を行い、前記プロセッサはIPネットワークイ ンタフェースを介してIPネットワークに接続されており、 前記スイッチングネットワークは、加入者回線ユニット、トランクユニット、 及びIPネットワークインタフェースからの信号が入力されるポートを有し、該ス イッチングネットワークは中央オフィスプロトコル内のプロセッサにより供給さ れるスイッチング信号に従いポート間で呼を選択的にルーティングし、 前記データベースには当該中央オフィスの処理する個々の加入者と、個々の加 入者の加入している呼機能間の関係が保存され、 前記プロセッサは当該中央オフィスの処理する加入者の内で、加入者回線ユニ ット又はIPネットワークインタフェースを介して該中央オフィスにアクセスして いる起呼者を検知し、中央オフィスプロトコルを使用してデータベースをアドレ ス指定し、起呼加入者がスイッチングネットワークを介して被呼側 にルーティングされた際、該加入者に対して加入呼機能を提供するよう構成され た、IPネットワークとの使用に適した通信システム。 3.中央オフィスから利用可能な呼機能の加入者に対し、該呼機能へのアクセス を提供する方法において、 加入者からIPネットワークを介して中央オフィスに送られた信号を処理し、 前記呼機能を加入者に利用可能にするステップを有した方法。
