Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 通信システムで時間同期を達成する装置であって、前記通信システムが接 続操作を実行し、複数のデータストリームが出力ストリームに多重送信される通 信システムであって、 通信システムのために基準周波数を提供する基準クロックと、 接続操作を制御するために周波数を提供する輸送出力クロックと、 前記基準クロック及び前記輸送出力クロックに結合され、前記基準クロックに 前記輸送出力クロックをロックするフェーズロックループ(PLL)と、 を含む装置。 2. 前記PLLが、 第1の除数で前記基準周波数を割る第1のディバイダと、 所望の周波数を発生させる電圧制御発振器(VCO)と、 前記VCOに結合された第2の除数で前記所望の周波数を割る第2のディバイ ダと、 前記第1のディバイダ、前記第2のディバイダ及び前記VCOに結合され、前 記所望の周波数を生じるために前記VCO制御信号を発生させるコンパレータと 、 を含む請求項1記載の装置。 3. 前記PLLに結合された伝送シンボルクロックを更に含み、前記PLLが 、前記輸送出力クロック及び前記伝送シンボルクロックの両方を前記基準クロッ クにロックする請求項1記載の装置。 4. 前記基準クロックが同期式光ネットワーク(SONET)クロックにロッ クされる請求項1記載の装置。 5. 前記基準クロックが、汎地球測位システム(GPS)クロックにロックさ れる請求項1記載の装置。 6. 通信システムで時間同期を達成する方法であって、前記通信システムが接 続操作を実行し、複数のデータストリームが出力ストリームに多重送信され、 (a)基準クロックから通信システムに基準周波数を提供するステップと、 (b)輸送出力クロックからの接続操作を制御するために周波数を提供するス テップと、 (c)フェーズロックループ(PLL)を使用して、前記輸送出力クロックを 前記基準クロックにロックするステップと、 を含む方法。 7. 前記PLLが、 第1の除数で前記基準周波数を割る第1のディバイダと、 所望の周波数を発生させる電圧制御発振器(VCO)と、 前記VCOに結合され、第2の除数で前記所望の周波数を割る第2のディバイ ダと、 前記第1のディバイダ、前記第2のディバイダ及び前記VCOに結合され、前 記所望の周波数を生じるために前記VCOに対して制御信号を発生させるコンパ レータと、 を含む請求項6記載の方法。 8. 前記ロッキングステップ(c)が、 (c')前記基準クロックに伝送シンボルクロックをロックするステップを更に 含む請求項6記載の方法。 9.出力ストリームに複数のデータストリームを多重送信するデジタルスタジオ であって、前記データストリームの1つ以上が、前記デジタルスタジオのスタジ オタイミングと異なるタイミング情報を運ぶことができ、 出力ストリームにデータストリームを多重送信するマルチプレクサと、 基準周波数を有する基準クロックと、 輸送出力クロックと、 前記マルチプレクサ、前記基準クロック及び前記輸送出力クロックに結合され 、前記基準クロック及び前記輸送出力クロックに応答して、出力ストリームにス タジオタイミングを挿入する輸送エンコーダと、 前記基準クロック及び前記輸送出力クロックに結合され、前記輸送出力クロッ クを前記基準クロックにロックするフェーズロックループ(PLL)と、 を含むデジタルスタジオ。
