【特許請求の範囲】
【請求項1】 基材表面に、親水性グラフト鎖を有し、且つ、Si、Ti、Zr、Alから選択される金属アルコキシドの加水分解、縮重合により形成された架橋構造を有する親水性層を備える表面親水性部材。
【請求項2】 前記架橋構造を有する親水性層が、シランカップリング基を末端に有する親水性ポリマーと架橋剤とを組合せることにより得られることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表面親水性部材。
【請求項3】 前記架橋構造を有する親水性層が、(A)下記一般式(I)で表される高分子化合物を含有する親水性塗布液組成物を調製し、塗布することにより形成されることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の表面親水性部材。

式(I)中、R1、R2、R3およびR4はそれぞれ独立に水素原子又は炭素数1〜8の炭化水素基を表し、mは0、1または2を表し、nは1〜8の整数を表す。Lは単結合又は有機連結基を表し、Yは−NHCOR5、−CONH2、−CON(R5)2、−COR5、−OH、−CO2M又は−SO3Mを表し、ここで、R5は炭素数1〜8のアルキル基を表し、Mは水素原子、アルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属又はオニウムを表す。
【請求項4】 前記親水性塗布液組成物に、さらに、(B)下記一般式(II)で表される加水分解性化合物を含有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の表面親水性部材。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を達成するために、親水性グラフトポリマーの特性に着眼し研究を進めた結果、本発明者らは、親水性ポリマーと金属アルコキシドを加水分解、縮重合することにより形成された架橋構造とを備えた表面層により上記目的を達成し得ること、さらには、このような架橋構造を有する表面層がシランカップリング基を末端に有する親水性ポリマーと架橋剤とを組合せることにより容易に得られることを見出し、本発明を完成した。
即ち、本発明の表面親水性部材は、基材表面に、親水性グラフト鎖を有し、且つ、Si、Ti、Zr、Alから選択される金属アルコキシドの加水分解、縮重合により形成された架橋構造を有する親水性層を備えることを特徴とする。
また、このような架橋構造を有する親水性層は、シランカップリング基を末端に有する親水性ポリマーと架橋剤とを組合せることにより得られ、また、(A)下記一般式(I)で表される高分子化合物を含有する親水性塗布液組成物を調製し、塗布することにより形成されることが好ましい態様であり、さらに好ましくは、これに加えて(B)下記一般式(II)で表される加水分解性化合物を含有する親水性塗布液組成物を調整し、塗布することにより形成された、架橋構造を有する親水性層を備える態様が挙げられる。

The hydrophilic layer having such a crosslinked structure can be obtained by combining a hydrophilic polymer having a silane coupling group at a terminal with a crosslinking agent, and (A) represented by the following general formula (I). It is a preferred embodiment that the composition is formed by preparing and applying a hydrophilic coating solution composition containing the polymer compound to be prepared, and more preferably, in addition to this, (B) a compound represented by the following general formula (II) An embodiment includes a hydrophilic layer having a crosslinked structure, which is formed by preparing and applying a hydrophilic coating solution composition containing the hydrolyzable compound represented by the formula.
