The bird and animal harm prevention device 1 includes a band portion 2 and fixing portions 3 which can fix the band portion 2 in a cylindrical shape. The band portion 2 is formed in a sheet shape, and is formed so as to be wound around a predetermined position of the trunk Tr of the tree T. The band portion 2 and the fixing portions 3 are both formed of a biodegradable resin containing an ultraviolet absorbent. In this case, a biodegradable resin “Cell Green (registered trademark)” manufactured by Daicel Chemical Industries, Ltd. can be used as the biodegradable resin. This biodegradable resin uses high-molecular-weight polycaprolactone, and has a high-molecular-weight crystallinity and a melting point of 60 to 115 ° C.
It has thermoplasticity. Therefore, during use, it has the same physical properties as other general-purpose resins, and is decomposed into water and carbon dioxide by microorganisms in a natural environment such as soil.
In addition, it is desirable to be translucent milky white in appearance.

Further, an appropriate amount of an ultraviolet absorber is added to the biodegradable resin. By blending an appropriate amount of an ultraviolet absorber, the weather resistance can be particularly improved. In the experiment, a band 2 having a thickness of 100 [μm] was formed in the shape and size of a tensile test piece according to JIS K7113, and the tensile test piece was subjected to rainfall 18 [minutes] and sunlight irradiation 102 [minutes]. The test in which [time] is one cycle is continued for 150 [hours],
After the test, the tensile elongation at break (TD direction) was measured. As a result, when only the biodegradable resin was used, the initial tensile elongation at break was 1100 [%], and the tensile elongation at break after the test was 100%.
[%], The initial tensile rupture elongation of the biodegradable resin blended with the ultraviolet absorber is 980.
[%], And the tensile elongation at break after the test was 580 [%]. In this case, the larger the numerical value of the tensile elongation at break after the test, the smaller the deterioration. This means that by adding an appropriate amount of an ultraviolet absorber to the biodegradable resin, the weather resistance can be significantly improved.

Although the size of the band portion 2, particularly the length in the vertical direction, is arbitrary, it can be set to about 20 cm. In addition, since the length in the lateral direction corresponds to the thickness of the trunk Tr to be wound, when used locally, a roll-shaped product is cut in accordance with the thickness of the trunk Tr. In addition,
It is desirable to form the band portion 2 with a thickness of about 350 [μm] as a guide.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, a large number of cuts c are formed in the band 2 along the vertical direction. By providing the cuts c, the band 2 can be extended in the lateral direction (longitudinal direction). When the notches c are provided, the notches c having a certain length are provided at regular intervals in the vertical direction and are arranged at regular intervals in the horizontal direction. At this time, it is desirable that the adjacent cuts c in the horizontal direction be shifted by half the vertical pitch. Also, a fixing portion 3 is provided between the adjacent cut portions c and c.
Are provided at predetermined intervals in the vertical direction.

On the other hand, the fixing portions 3 are connected to the tree portion T
When it is wound around, both ends of the band portion 2 are joined (fixed), and the form is not limited. Therefore, the sheet member formed of the above-described biodegradable resin may be cut into a small width and formed as a string, or an insulated tie (tie band) or the like that can connect both ends with one touch may be used.

First, the band 2 wound into a roll is brought to the tree T to be mounted. Then, the outer diameter of the trunk Tr at a predetermined position Xe of the trunk Tr of the tree T seen from the bird and beast A, desirably, at a height of about 90 cm from the ground is measured with a tape measure or the like, and slightly smaller than the measured length. The band portion 2 wound into a roll is cut to a length of a short length. The height of about 90 cm from the ground corresponds to the eye level for relatively large birds and animals A such as bears and deers.

FIG. 2 shows the band portion 2 obtained by cutting.
As shown in FIG. 1, the band portion 2 is wound around the above-described predetermined position Xe of the trunk Tr, and as shown in FIG. 3, a pair of insertion holes h formed at both ends facing each other.
Are passed through a fixing portion 3, that is, a string or an insulation tie made of a biodegradable resin blended with an appropriate amount of an ultraviolet absorber as described above. Thereby, the band portion 2 is fixed to the trunk Tr in a tubular shape.

Since the band portion 2 is provided with a large number of cut portions c... By being mounted in this manner, the cut portions c. The problem of slipping off even when attached is avoided. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the band portions 2 can be extended in the lateral direction by opening the cut portions c..., The tree T grows over a long period of time, and the diameter of the trunk Tr decreases. It can respond flexibly even if it grows up. Moreover, since the cut portions c ensure air permeability, the inside of the wound band portion 2 does not get stuffy, and if the band portion 2 is made translucent, sunlight passes therethrough, so that a favorable condition is obtained. The natural environment can be maintained. further,
The bird and animal harm prevention device 1 is obtained by blending a biodegradable resin with an appropriate amount of an ultraviolet absorber, so that the weather resistance can be remarkably enhanced even in an outdoor environment and can be worn for a long period of time. The prevention effect can be maintained for a long time.

Therefore, since the bird and animal harm prevention tool 1 is mounted on the predetermined position Xe of the trunk Tr of the tree T where the bird and the animal A can be seen, the habit of the bird and the animal A, that is, the bird and the animal A is artificially added Because of the habit of not approaching the tree T, it does not approach the tree T, and the tree T can be effectively protected from the bird A. In particular, the predetermined position Xe where the bird and beast harm prevention device 1 is mounted is
If the height is selected to be about 90 [cm] from the ground, the birds and beasts A, such as bears and deer, are at eye level, and the effect of preventing birds and beasts damage can be further enhanced. On the other hand, when the tree T is cut down due to logging or the like, even if the bird and animal harm prevention implement 1 is left on the ground as it is, it is decomposed into water and carbon dioxide by microorganisms in the natural environment such as the soil, and adversely affects the natural environment. Does not affect.
