However, in such a connection structure in which the signal line of the shielded cable and the inner conductor terminal of the shielded connector are press-contacted, the press-contact piece is erected perpendicularly to the axial direction of the connector. Because it is a configuration, a space for connecting the signal line to the pressure contact piece from above is required, and further, in order to ensure connection reliability with the signal line, usually a plurality of pressure contact blades are provided, in which case,
Since they are provided side by side in the axial direction of the connector, the length is increased accordingly. Therefore, the whole connector becomes longer,
There was a problem that miniaturization was hindered.

According to the above-described method of assembling the shield connector, the insulating holding member, which bends and holds the signal line of the shielded cable, is mounted in the mounting chamber having the outer conductor terminal opened, and the inner conductor terminal having the press-contact portion is connected. The insulating terminal insertion member housed so that the press-contact portion protrudes in the press-contact direction is also housed in the tubular housing chamber of the outer conductor terminal, temporarily locked, and housed on the mounted holding member side. If you push the terminal insertion member further,
Since the signal wire bent and held by the holding member and the press-contact portion of the inner conductor terminal accommodated in the terminal insertion member are press-contacted, the step of press-contacting the press-contact portion of the inner conductor terminal to the signal line is a terminal insertion member. Is performed in the process of pushing. That is,
The process itself of accommodating the terminal insertion member in the outer conductor terminal, which has been performed conventionally, is also the process of press-connecting, so that the process dedicated to press-welding, which was required in the prior art, becomes unnecessary.

Although the introduction groove formed in the holding member has a shape in which the upper portion is opened, it may be an introduction hole which is opened back and forth so that a signal line can be inserted. in short,
In order to make the press-contact direction the same as the cable axial direction, the press-contact blade of the inner conductor terminal press-contact portion is formed so as to be parallel to the axial direction, and the terminal part of the signal line exposed from the shielded cable is connected to the shaft. Any structure may be used as long as it is bent so as to intersect with the direction, and the bent portion and the inner conductor terminal press-contact portion are pressed against each other in the axial direction.

According to the shield connector connection structure of the present invention, the terminal portion of the signal line of the shielded cable is bent and held, and the bent portion and the press contact portion provided on the inner conductor terminal are axially moved. The pressure contact connection is made by facing each other, so that it is possible to press-connect in a short connection space with respect to the length of the connector in the axial direction. Miniaturization is also possible, and it is easy to automate assembly by a machine.

In order to secure connection reliability, even if a plurality of press-contact portions are provided on the inner conductor terminal so as to increase the number of contact portions with the signal lines, the press-contact portions are increased without increasing the length of the connector. Performance can be improved.

In the prior art, since the pressure connection is made perpendicularly to the axial direction of the connector, it is necessary to make a large opening substantially in the latter half of the upper surface of the outer conductor terminal as a space, and furthermore, to secure the shielding property. Therefore, according to the connection structure of the shielded connector according to the present invention, the insulating holding member that bends and holds the signal line is provided with the opening of the outer conductor terminal. Since it is configured to be mounted in the mounting room, the opening can be made small, and the shielding performance can be ensured even if it is not closed.

Further, since the pressure contact portion of the inner conductor terminal, which is conventionally formed in the vertical direction, is formed in the axial direction by adopting a structure in which the signal line is pressed against the bent and held signal line, the structure of the inner conductor terminal is simplified. And the manufacturing cost of the inner conductor terminal generally made of a conductive plate material can be reduced.

In this case, if the shield cover is further provided integrally with the outer conductor terminal, a shield cover for closing the opening for press-contact connection is separately provided and attached as in the case of the outer conductor terminal of the prior art. Since there is no problem, the number of parts is small, the shielding property can be further improved by a simple process of merely closing, and the cost is low.

According to the method of assembling the shield connector according to the present invention, the step of pressing the press-contact portion of the inner conductor terminal to the signal line is performed by the step of pressing the terminal insertion member. Since the process of accommodating the terminal insertion member in the outer conductor terminal itself also serves as a press-connecting process, a process dedicated to press-contact, which is required in the related art, becomes unnecessary.

Further, since the terminal insertion member is housed in the cylindrical housing chamber of the outer conductor terminal and is temporarily locked, and is further pushed into the mounting chamber at the time of press-contact, the outer conductor terminal is inserted before the press-connection. Workability is good because the storage chamber can be stored in a temporarily locked state.
