2. Description of the Related Art A water level gauge utilizing a tape measure is provided with a probe for detecting a water surface 7 at a tip portion of the tape measure. As disclosed in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 2-59435, the structure is composed of a combination of one electrode for the zero value and the other electrode provided on the tube. In this configuration, the air was released, and the water surface 7 was brought into contact with the zero-value electrode to operate a circuit provided on the water level meter main body side.

The probe described in the above prior art utilizes the conductivity of water, and is electrically connected when two electrodes are connected by moisture. In addition, the two electrodes need to be separated by some space.

The above-described conventional probe is generally used to measure the level of ground water accumulated in a hole, for example. However, in the case of this water level measurement, since the state in the hole is dark and invisible, it is unavoidable that dirt is clogged between the two electrodes. Further, in this embodiment in which the other electrode is provided in the tubular body, since reducing the diameter of the tube narrows the space between the two electrodes, there is a limit to reducing the diameter of the tube.

[0005] Generally, the measurement hole for the water level measurement is 50 holes.
It is often provided by using a PVC pipe 6 of about mmφ. In some cases, it is implemented with a finer structure. In addition, the PVC pipe 6 sometimes contains a measuring cable other than the water level measurement, and the PVC pipe 6 itself is often not narrowly connected because it is not connected straight.

Since many conventional probes have a diameter of about 20 mmφ, the goal is to make the probe thinner than this.

In most cases, the inside of the PVC pipe 6 is always humid, and in some cases, the electrodes react even though they do not reach the water surface 7, resulting in erroneous measurement. Therefore, a structure that does not sense moisture other than the water surface 7 is also required.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above situation, and has a new tape measure having a structure in which the thickness of a probe is made small and it is difficult to detect moisture other than the water surface 7. An object of the present invention is to provide a probe in a tape-based water level gauge.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The embodiment shown in FIG.
A stainless steel tube of φ is cut to form one electrode portion 1, a plastic insulator 2 is connected to the tip of the one electrode portion 1, and the tip surface 3 is located at the center of the tip surface 3 of the insulator portion 2. 3 is provided with a spherical outer electrode portion 4 having an outer diameter smaller than the outer diameter and a low height, and one electrode wire (not shown) connected to the electrode portion 1 via a tape measure 5 from a water level gauge. Similarly, the other electrode portion 4 is connected to the other electrode lead (not shown) extending from the water level meter via a tape measure tape.

In this embodiment, the one electrode portion 1 and the other electrode portion 4 are separated by an appropriate amount of insulator, and the outer diameter of the other electrode portion 4 is larger than the thickness of the one electrode portion 1 and the insulator portion 2. It is necessary to keep the size as small as possible and to use the one electrode part 1 on the negative potential side and the other electrode part 4 on the positive potential side in relation to the ground.

The present invention employs a stainless steel material which is durable and resistant to rust for the thin tube body of one electrode, and can be applied to various water qualities to realize a durable structure. By keeping the body part sufficiently separated, it is possible to realize the positional relationship of the electrodes that does not react with the humidity inside the PVC pipe 6.

According to the present invention, as described above, an insulator made of plastic or the like is connected to the tip of the one electrode made of conductive metal, and the center of the tip of the insulator is placed outside the tip. The other electrode portion having a smaller outer diameter than the diameter and having a lower height is provided, and one electrode lead wire is connected to one electrode portion via a tape measure tape from a water level gauge, and the other electrode portion is also tape measure tape from the water level meter to the other electrode portion. Is connected to the other-electrode conductor extending through the wire, so that it is not necessary to provide the other electrode inside the tube, so that it can be made as thin as possible. As a practical matter, the width dimension of the tape measure to be attached is the limit of the thickness.
A thickness of 2 mmφ to 10 mmφ can be realized. Since the two electrodes are separated by an insulator, the length of the insulator can be set according to the conductivity of moisture and the sensitivity of the electronic circuit. There is an advantage that cleaning can be made extremely simple and reliable. The other electrode portion at the tip is further narrowed so that the other electrode portion is separated from the electrically non-conductive portion even when the other electrode portion is separated from the wet PVC tube 6 and the boring hole as shown in FIG. Since the state is maintained, no malfunction occurs.
