2. Description of the Related Art A finger joint is known as a telescopic device for a road bridge. This is shown in FIG.
As shown in the figure, opposed vertical plates (web plates) a
And one side comb-shaped horizontal plate (face plate) b welded on each vertical plate a, and the comb teeth are combined so as to mesh with each other with a play c. A gutter d is fixed to one vertical plate a, and a water guide plate e is fixed to the other vertical plate a. Rainwater falling from the play c is received by the gutter d. The water guide plate e functions to guide rainwater to the gutter d.

However, the above-described finger joint drainage structure has a problem that rainwater overflows from the gutter d and falls under the road bridge. This is because sand, pebbles, and other foreign matter on the bridge surface fall from the play c to the gutter d, and the drainage by the gutter d is prevented, or the gutter d becomes shallow due to accumulation of sand or the like on the gutter d. This is because the amount of rainwater exceeds the amount of water that can be drained.

In particular, in the case of a long bridge having a long span of the road bridge body, the play c is widened because the expansion and contraction allowance of the expansion and contraction device is required to be large, so that the above-mentioned problems of water leakage, noise, and inhibition of expansion and contraction are increased.

On the other hand, in place of the gutter, the space between the vertical plates is closed with a rubber seal material.
Because the space between the vertical plates is wide, a large amount of rubber is required.
There is a problem that the rubber seal material adhered to the vertical plate is peeled off due to aging or the like, thereby causing water leakage.

When a foaming filler formed by injecting a foamable plastic material between the vertical plate portions and foaming the sealing material is used as the sealing material, rainwater is blocked by the foaming filler, thereby preventing water leakage under the bridge. You. Further, since the foamed filler prevents entry of sand and other foreign substances from the play gap into the space between the vertical plate portions, it is possible to prevent the elasticity of the expansion device from being reduced by such foreign substances. Further, the running noise of the automobile is absorbed or blocked by the foam filler, and is prevented from leaking under the bridge. Even if rainwater leaks from between the foam filler and the vertical plate due to aging of the foam filler, such rainwater is received by the gutter member and discharged. In addition, foamable plastic materials are less expensive than rubber seal materials.

In addition, according to the foam filler used as the sealing material, water leakage under the bridge, falling of foreign matter, and leakage of running noise are prevented by the foam filler, and the foam filler is separated from the vertical plate portion. Even so, rainwater that falls along the vertical plate is received by the gutter member and drained, which is advantageous for preventing water leakage under the bridge, reducing noise under the bridge, ensuring elasticity, and reducing costs. It will also be advantageous.

Next, a method for forming the foam filler 7 will be described. As shown in FIG. 4, the joint members 5 and 5 are assembled upside down. The gutter member 6 is connected to the vertical plate portion 15 in advance by welding or the like. The padding 20 is inserted between the vertical plate portions 6 and 6 to close the play space 17. That is, the padding 20 is formed of a sponge material, and as shown in FIG.
A cut 20a is formed in a portion corresponding to. This padding 20 is inserted between the vertical plate portions 6 and 6, and the cut 20
The padding 20 is pushed down so that the rib 18 fits into the inner overhang 16a. In that state, a foamable plastic material is injected between the vertical plate portions 15 and 15,
The foam filler 7 is formed by foaming chemically.

Therefore, according to the expansion and contraction device 4, even if the rainwater enters the play gap 17, the rainwater is blocked by the foam filler filling the space between the vertical plates 15. Therefore, water leakage under the bridge is prevented. Sand and other foreign substances are also removed from the play space 17 by the vertical plate portions 15,1.
Penetration between the spaces 5 is prevented by the foam filler 7. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the elasticity of the elastic device 4 from being reduced by such foreign matter. Furthermore, since the vehicle running noise is absorbed or blocked by the foam filler 7, the sound leaking under the bridge becomes small.

<Embodiment 2> This embodiment is shown in FIG. 6 and FIG. The difference from the first embodiment is that the joint member 5 is not provided with a rib, and the water collecting pipe 21 extending in the seam longitudinal direction is fixed to the inner surface of the vertical plate portion 15. This is basically the same as the first embodiment. The water collecting pipe 21 may be formed by forming a large number of water collecting holes penetrating the pipe wall over the entire pipe, or a coil. A drain pipe is connected to the end of the water collection pipe 21 on the low side of the road bridge.

Therefore, in the case of this embodiment, the vertical plate portion 15
The rainwater flowing down and the rainwater impregnated in the foam filler 7 flows into the water collection pipe 21 and is discharged therefrom, so that the amount of rainwater flowing into the gutter member 6 is reduced, and the overflow of the rainwater from the gutter material 6 is reduced. This is advantageous in avoiding.

Next, a method for forming the foam filler 7 will be described. As shown in FIG. 7, the joint members 5 and 5 are assembled upside down, and a steel plate 22 having a thickness of about 1 mm is inserted between the vertical plate portions 15 and 15. The gutter member 6 is fixed to the vertical plate portion 15 in advance by welding or the like. The steel plate 22 has the inner overhang 16

Foaming filler 7 is formed by injecting foam between foams 15. Thereafter, the steel plate 22 is drawn out from between the vertical plate portions 15 in the seam longitudinal direction. A release agent such as oil is applied to the steel plate 22 in advance so that the foamed filler 7 does not adhere.

<Embodiment 3> In this embodiment, only the main parts are shown in FIG. That is, the first embodiment,
2, a water guiding gap 6b is formed between the bottom surface of the gutter member 6 and the foam filling material 7, but in the present embodiment, a water guiding coil 25 extending in the seam longitudinal direction instead of the gap 6b on the bottom surface of the gutter member 6.
The feature is that it is provided.

Accordingly, when rainwater flows down to the gutter member 7 from between the foam filler 7 and the vertical plate portion 15 or from a crack generated in the foam filler 7, the rainwater is transferred to the water guiding coil 25.
This leads to the lower side of the road bridge crossing slope.

Although the joint member 5 of the above embodiment has a concave-convex shape at the tip of the inner protruding portion 16a, it may extend linearly in the longitudinal direction of the joint. Similarly, the tip of the outer protrusion 16b may extend linearly. In some cases, there is no outer overhang.
