Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snap tap with a saddle usable over many years and months by preventing corrosion by spark erosion and contact water. SOLUTION: An insulating plate 53 is arranged between a flange part 17 of a snap tap body 3 and a receiving part of a saddle body 42 for receiving the flange part. A bolt 57 for joining the flange part with the receiving part is insulated from the flange part by a bolt insulating part 55 and an insulating washer 59. A step part 14 is formed inside a casing around an inflow item 3 of the casing 7 of the snap tap body, and a lower side ball seat 15 is arranged here. A close contact core 65 is installed for sealing a bored hole 82 bored in a service water main pipe 81 from water. A cylindrical insulator 61 is arranged for covering an inflow port of the flange part and an inner wall of a water feed hole 45 of the saddle body. A rigid bush 63 is arranged in the insulator. An upper part of a through hole of a ball presser is formed in an octagonal shape. The ball presser is rotated by using this upper part.

2. Description of the Related Art Generally, a water tap with a saddle is used when a water supply pipe is branched from a water main pipe. This faucet with a saddle is roughly divided into a screw type that directly screw-connects the faucet body and the saddle, and a flange is formed at the lower part of the faucet body, and this flange is mounted on a receiving surface formed on the saddle. There is a flange type which is mounted and connected by an appropriate means such as a bolt. Regardless of the type, in most cases, the main body of the faucet is made of gunmetal and the saddle is made of ductile cast iron. When such dissimilar metals are used, electrolytic corrosion becomes a problem. Since the water faucet with the saddle together with the pipe is buried under the ground for many months, it is desired to effectively prevent electrolytic corrosion.

[0003] In the case of the flange type, a part of the upper portion of the saddle, together with the main body of the water faucet, forms a storage chamber for a ball valve element constituting a water blocking mechanism. Corrodes. In response to this, powder coating has been applied, but the thickness of the coating film has been uneven, resulting in lack of reliability and the fact that corrosion due to water contact with the saddle has not been completely prevented. It is.

[0004] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 10-306895 discloses a flange type in which an annular holder is screwed to a lower part of a water faucet body and a lower ball seat is attached to the holder.
The saddle provides a structure that does not come into contact with water. However, with this structure, the flange becomes larger than before,
There is a problem that the whole apparatus becomes large.

[0005] Apart from the above-mentioned corrosion problem, in the case of the screw type, when the water faucet body is screwed to the saddle at the upper part of the screw, a neck part for grasping the water faucet and rotating the water faucet body is provided. Is formed, and the strength of the neck becomes a problem. In addition, the height of the water faucet as a whole is increased, but in recent years, the water faucet is often buried in a shallower position in the soil than in the past, and in order to cope with this, the water faucet must be made as short as possible.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned conventional problems, and electrically insulates a saddle and a water tap body without increasing the size of the apparatus.
An object of the present invention is to provide a water faucet with a saddle that can reliably prevent electrolytic corrosion. It is also an object of the present invention to provide a water tap with a saddle that prevents the saddle from corroding by preventing the saddle from directly contacting water.

In order to solve the above problems, according to the present invention, a flange portion formed on a water faucet main body is placed on a receiving portion formed on a saddle, and the flange portion and the receiving portion are placed on the receiving portion. By fastening using fastening members,
The water faucet body is fixed to the saddle, and at this time, an insulating plate made of an electrically insulating material is arranged between the flange portion and the receiving portion, and the fastening member is at least one of the saddle and the water faucet body. One of them was electrically insulated from the water faucet main body and the saddle by being engaged via an insulating member made of an electrically insulating material.

In the present invention, the water faucet main body is fixed to the saddle by mounting the flange formed on the water faucet main body on the receiving portion formed on the saddle, and the casing itself is provided with:
A ball seat attachment portion was formed around an inflow port serving as an inlet of water into the casing, and a lower ball seat for rotatably receiving the ball valve element was disposed here. As a result, the main body of the water faucet is separated from the saddle, and the saddle does not partially face the ball storage chamber and does not touch the water.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 61 denotes the insulating plate 5 as well.
An inflow port 13 of the water faucet main body 3 formed integrally with 3;
It is a cylindrical insulator that closely covers the inner peripheral surface of the water passage hole 45 of the saddle body 42. Inside thereof, a rigid, for example, stainless steel tubular member or bush 63 is provided.
However, it is attached in such a state that a short flange extending radially outward at the upper end thereof is received on the upper end surface of the tubular insulating member 61. The flange is narrow and does not contact the faucet body 3.

The cylindrical member indicated by a two-dot chain line in FIG. 1 is a well-known close contact core 65 which is attached for preventing corrosion of a perforated hole 82 formed in a water main. The contact core 65 expands its diameter at the upper portion in a state of expanding backward and presses against the inner periphery of the bush 63, and expands the lower portion outward and presses against the inner wall of the water main pipe. This prevents water from coming into contact with the perforated hole 82 formed in the main pipe. Since this technique is publicly known, a detailed description is omitted.

In the present embodiment, the above-described tubular insulator 61 and the bush 63 are provided for the following reason. That is, when these are not provided, the close contact core 65 is attached in the same manner as in the related art, and when the upper end is pressed against the inner wall of the inflow port of the water faucet body and the lower end is pressed against the inner wall of the water main pipe, the core and the main pipe are separated. The water faucet body and the saddle are electrically connected to each other. There is also a coherent core type in which the outer periphery of a main body made of copper or the like is coated with an elastic material such as rubber. There are cases.

Therefore, first, a cylindrical insulator 61 is disposed, and a rigid bush 65 capable of pressing the contact core with a sufficient force is disposed inside the cylindrical insulator 61. This ensures reliable sealing by the contact core and water separation. This enables insulation between the plug body 3 and the saddle 41.

In the above description, the flange portion of the faucet main body 3 has been described as being flat, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, what is shown in FIG. 5 is a case where the flange portion of the water faucet body and the receiving portion of the saddle body are formed in a stepped state. In the figure, the members corresponding to the members in the first embodiment are indicated by the same numbers with dashes. A detailed description of this will be omitted.

As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, the electrical insulation between the water faucet main body and the saddle is completely achieved, and the conventional electrolytic corrosion can be prevented. In addition, although it is a so-called flange type, unlike the conventional type, a lower ball seat is disposed on the casing of the water faucet itself, and the water faucet and the saddle are separated from each other. Unlike the type, the saddle does not come into contact with water in the casing in which the ball valve element is housed, so that the conventional corrosion of the saddle caused by water contact is prevented. At this time, the ball retainer is arranged on the upper side, and the receiving portion of the lower ball seat is formed on the casing itself, so that it is not necessary to enlarge the flange portion.
