When the above-mentioned lightweight and simple suspended membrane roof, that is, a membrane roof having a suspension membrane structure is provided so as to cover the upper part of the storage tank, rainwater does not stay on the upper part of the membrane roof. In addition, it has been demanded that contaminants do not accumulate and flutter due to strong winds. That is, it has been difficult to attach the peripheral attachment portion in an airtight state while keeping the entire membrane in a tensioned state so that the flexible membrane does not hang down and generate no slack. The work of mounting the flexible membrane on the upper end of the side wall of the storage tank is difficult to handle because it requires simultaneous work of fixing the peripheral edge of the membrane tightly while applying tension to the membrane. It is difficult to align the peripheral portion with the anchor bolts at the upper end of the storage tank because the flexible film is likely to be displaced, deformed, and wrinkled. It was necessary.

As described above, the flexible membrane 7 is extended in a tensioned state, and furthermore comes into contact with the plurality of lower ropes 6A which are radially extended with a pressing force and is supported from below by an average. Therefore, it is possible to further improve the durability against loads such as defoliation, earth and sand, rain and snow. Further, the flexible membrane 7 covers the upper part of the outer peripheral edge mounting portion, and the periphery thereof is firmly and air-tightly fixed. Further, the flexible membrane 7 is radially formed by a plurality of engaging members 14 provided on the upper surface of the flexible membrane 7. Since it is pressed from above in a well-balanced manner so as to engage with the plurality of stretched upper ropes 6B to suppress movement, it is more durable against lifting and fluttering due to strong winds and changes in atmospheric pressure. Can be improved. The membrane roof 4 thus formed
Is installed in a water tank such as an outdoor farm pond or a distribution reservoir, dust such as fallen leaves and earth and sand is not deposited on the upper surface of the flexible film body 7 but along the inclined upper surface by gravity. It can be smoothly dropped around the storage tank, and rainwater and snow can be drained to the periphery without collecting on the upper surface of the flexible film body 7. If such a membrane roof 4 is applied to a storage tank such as an existing roofless farm pond, the roof becomes lighter, easier to construct, and more economical.
