Many cases are found by meter reading of water consumption. This is because, for example, a leak in the washroom is difficult due to a defective ball tap or float, so it is difficult to judge a small amount. In the case of a solar water heater or an electric water heater, the installation location is on the roof. And inconspicuousness such as behind a house.

The reason why the water meter can detect the flow of water is that there is a flow of about 90 cc or more per minute. For this reason, it is not easy to find a small amount of water leak that the water meter cannot detect, and it is a fact that it is overlooked. It seems that there are devices on the market that use high-sensitivity sensors to check water usage and to detect water leaks, but they are not easy to install, are expensive, and have not yet become widespread.

For example, when the faucet is opened, it is desirable to change the opening according to the momentum of water flowing out of the faucet or the like. This on-off valve generates a differential pressure when a one-way flow occurs in the pipeline, and may be called a normally closed so-called differential pressure valve.

The constant flow valve is an almost indispensable element when the present apparatus is applied to the water supply of a general household. However, this is not essential in the case of a pipeline in which a substantially constant range of pressure always acts.

In contrast, at least the upstream side of the on-off valve communicates with the variable volume chamber, and the variable volume chamber is provided in the side chamber. That is, the low pressure on the downstream side of the on-off valve acts on the side chamber, and the high pressure on the upstream side acts on the variable volume chamber. Therefore, the pressure in the side chamber and the pressure in the variable volume chamber act so as to be balanced, so that any liquid leakage can be detected as a differential pressure.

That is, the variable volume chamber is a means for taking out the deformation, and is constituted by, for example, a flexible film commonly called a diaphragm or the like. Other than the flexible membrane, those having the structure of the piston cylinder device also correspond to the variable volume chamber. That is, the deformation includes enlargement and reduction.

And a differential pressure is created on both sides when a flow from the upstream side to the downstream side occurs. The upstream side divided by the partition wall 15 and the on-off valve 16 is referred to as an A room, and the downstream side is referred to as a B room. The apparatus main body 11 is provided with a side chamber 20 communicating with the downstream side of the on-off valve 16. The downstream side and the side chamber 20 are communicated by the liquid passage 21.

A part of the port is defined by a flexible membrane 23 called a diaphragm, is provided in contact with the partition wall 24 of the side chamber 20, and has a different diameter from the chamber A on the upstream side and the chamber B on the downstream side. 25 and 26 communicate with each other. The upstream port 25 has a larger diameter, is a port for taking in a liquid flow from the chamber A to the variable volume chamber 22, and has a downstream port 26.
Has a smaller diameter, and discharges the liquid flow to the downstream side B chamber while maintaining a required pressure by the liquid flow flowing into the variable pressure chamber 22.

It can be obtained by changing the diameter of each of the ports 25 and 26 communicating with the chamber and the chamber B, and the degree of deformation of the variable volume chamber 22 can be selected by the internal pressure.
In the case of the first embodiment, the side chamber 20 has the ports 25, 2

The switch 30 has a contact 27, a displacement member 28 that can be displaced from a position away from the contact 27 by deformation of the variable volume chamber 22 to a position near the contact 27, and a guide member 29 that guides the displacement member 28. The member 28 is made of a permanent magnet, and the contact 27 is made of a material that makes contact and conducts with the magnetic force so that it can be opened and closed.

When the liquid flow from the chamber A to the chamber B is stopped, the pressures in the two chambers A and B and the side chamber 22 are equal, and the volume of the variable volume chamber 22 is Since it is zero (no change), the switch 30 does not switch and the liquid leak notification unit 31 does not operate (FIG. 1). That is, the same part 31
Is not lit when is a light bulb or the like, and does not sound when the part 31 is sound, indicating that there is no abnormality. In addition, when the liquid leak notification unit 31 is configured to be always lit, it is lit during operation to report that there is no abnormality.

In the case of the second embodiment, the side chamber upstream side port 34 is provided in order not to increase the internal pressure of the side chamber 20, and is set to the smallest diameter, and the downstream opening of the liquid passage 21 which becomes the downstream side port 36 also has the internal pressure of the side chamber 20. Is provided with the largest diameter so as not to increase the diameter. The port 35 of the variable volume chamber 22 is determined in consideration of the expandability of the flexible membrane 23 obtained thereby. Since other configurations may be the same as those in the first embodiment, reference numerals are used, and detailed description is omitted.

Then, when a liquid flow occurs during use and a differential pressure is generated, the on-off valve 16 opens (FIG. 4A), and the variable volume chamber 22 is deformed,
When the switch 30 is turned on, the liquid leak notification unit 31 operates to report that the liquid is being used. Or it turns out that it is in use.

A differential pressure is generated between the chamber and the chamber B (FIG. 4B). Therefore, the capacity of the variable volume chamber 22 is increased, and the switch 30 is switched, so that the liquid leakage notifying unit 31 operates to notify the surroundings of the occurrence of the liquid leakage.

6 is an example in which the side chamber 20 communicating with the room A and the room B is combined. As a result, no air bubbles remain in the side chamber 20 and the variable volume chamber 22, and the liquid quickly spreads out (on the contrary, if the air bubbles do not cause a problem,
The apparatus of the present invention can also be configured by combining the side chamber that communicates only with the chamber B and the variable volume chamber that communicates with the chamber A in the first embodiment. ). In the third embodiment, the return spring 37 is acted on the displacement member 28, so that the operation can be performed quickly.
Improves certainty. Since the spring force may degrade the operation characteristics of the flexible film 23, a weak spring is used.

2, the liquid leakage can be detected, but the sensitivity depends on the responsiveness to the pressure change of the member constituting the variable volume chamber 22, such as the flexible membrane 23. Example 1 of the present invention,
In the case of the diaphragm film (23) shown in FIG. 2, a flow of water of about 50 cc / min could be detected without using any special material. This is much higher than the water meter, where the lower limit of the measured flow rate is about 90 cc per minute.

液漏れ検出装置。An apparatus for detecting leakage of a liquid flowing through a pipeline, wherein an on-off valve that can be closed by an urging force opposing a hydraulic pressure and that can be opened by an increase in the hydraulic pressure is provided in a main body of the apparatus. A side chamber communicating with the downstream of the on-off valve is provided in the apparatus body, and a variable volume chamber communicating with the upstream of the on-off valve is provided in the side chamber, and the liquid leak notification unit is controlled by deformation of the variable volume chamber due to liquid leakage. A liquid leak detector that operates a switch.
