Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly economical seat for a vehicle for which a skin material composed of a bulky woven and knitted fabric with three-dimensional structure is curved in vertical and horizontal direction matched with the curve of a seat frame to spread it, the danger of generating slack is eliminated without the hold of the locking member of a hook member or the like, the skin material is sufficiently stretched, the desired shape of the skin material is given, an appearance is improved, a cushion property, a touch, and a sitting feeling are improved, and assembly work efficiency is improved. SOLUTION: A wire 17 is disposed with an appropriate interval from a seat frame 15. The wire 17 is bent to the side of getting closer to each other at both ends of a welding part 17a of the wire 17. A locking part 17b of the wire 17 is formed in a continuous state with the appropriate interval from the seat frame 15. The surface material 25 is formed of the woven and knitted fabric with three-dimensional structure having a front surface base cloth 26 and a back surface base cloth 27 composed of surface and back woven and knitted fabric and an elastic intermediate layer 28 integrally woven and knitted with the front and back base clothes 26 and 27. A locking member 18 is fixed to the end part of the skin material 25 and the locking member 18 is locked to the locking part 17b of the wire 17 in the continuous state.
