Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod tip cover to be used in a conventional guide- type fishing rod, for eliminating a fishline entangling on the ear tip due to its shake by the wind or the like during fishing activities. SOLUTION: This fishing rod tip cover is a cylindrical cover made of a plastic material or water-repellent fabric and including a top ring (2) on the tip, an end ring (3) on the rear and a rubbery tube stopper (4) on the side of the end ring (3).

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a tubular cover for covering a tip of a fishing rod with a guide so that a line does not get caught on the tip of the fishing rod.

2. Description of the Related Art As a conventional method for preventing a line from getting caught in a head, there are an inner line method in which a line is passed through a fishing rod and a method in which the shape of a guide is changed by an ordinary guide method.

The inner line method, which is one of the prior arts, has a high production cost for the rod and the diameter of the tip becomes thick because the thread passes through the inside of the rod. Also, there is a guide type fishing rod in which the shape of the guide is changed so that the line is hardly entangled, but the line entanglement is not completely eliminated.

[Means for Solving the Problems] By covering the tip of a normal guide type fishing rod with a tubular cover, the advantages of the conventional guide method can be used without losing the advantages of the conventional guide type, and still further, it can be applied to the tip of the fishing line.
