Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cut-off tool capable of exhibiting a cut-off effect even to a fine crack, resistant to hydraulic pressure, and excellent in constructing property and long-term stability. SOLUTION: This water cut-off tool 1 comprises an external facing body 2 molded of a rubber material or resin material, and a water-swelling material 3 filled in the external facing body and flowable to the outside. This water cut-off tool 1 is easy to construct and resistant to hydraulic pressure since the external facing body is formed of the rubber material or resin material. Further, since the water-swelling material flowable to the outside is filled in the facing body, the water-swelling material penetrates into a fine crack to exhibit a stable cut-off effect over a long period.

The exterior body 2 is filled with a water-swellable material 3 which can expand and flow out. As the water-swellable material, any material may be used as long as it swells when water enters the exterior body 2 and can flow out to the outside. Examples thereof include montmorillonite such as bentonite and other smectites. Based clay, swelling mica, or polymer-absorbing material (eg, starch-acrylate graft copolymer, cross-linked alkali metal acrylate, hydrolyzate of acrylate-vinyl acetate copolymer, etc.) It can be suitably used. In particular, bentonite is a naturally occurring inorganic clay, is excellent in safety and long-term stability, and is preferable because it is inexpensive.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, a water-stopping tool which exhibits a water-stopping effect even for fine cracks, is strong against water pressure, and is excellent in workability and long-term stability. Becomes According to the invention described in claim 2, in addition to the effect of claim 1, the exterior body itself also has water-swelling properties,
In addition, since the water-swellable material filled inside also promotes the expansion of the exterior body, the water-stopping tool has a higher water-stopping property. According to the third aspect of the invention, in addition to the effects of the first aspect, the water stopping tool is more excellent in safety, long-term stability, and low cost. According to the invention as set forth in claim 4, in addition to the effect of the above-mentioned claim 1, the water swelling material can be a more reliable water stoppage tool to the outside. According to the invention described in claim 5, by using a metal bar or the like of the separator penetrating the penetrating portion and using the same, the gap formed between the separator and concrete is sealed to more reliably stop water. It becomes a water stopping tool.
