Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing tool capable of easily changing only polishing yarn and polishing along a surface of a polished material having a warp and irregularities concerning the polishing tool using the polishing yarn to polish the surface of the polished material of a metal, a ceramic material, etc., only by small quantity. SOLUTION: The polishing tool is structured to wind the polishing yarn around a ring body 11, can freely select a martial and a shape of the body, an abrasive grain and a yarn diameter of the polishing yarn 12 and a winding form of the polishing yarn and can correspond to various working purposes.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a polishing tool using a polishing thread.

2. Description of the Related Art When a surface of a metal, ceramics or the like is polished by a minute amount, the polishing is performed by a brush in which a plurality of polishing yarns are bundled.

However, when the polishing force is adjusted with such a brush, it can be coped with to some extent by adjusting the pressing force against the material to be polished. You need another brush to change the brush.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a polishing tool according to the present invention has a structure in which a polishing thread is wound around a ring-shaped body as described in claim 1, thereby achieving polishing. The yarn can be easily changed, and a desired abrasive yarn can be selected.

Further, the pressing force can be adjusted by loosening and winding the abrasive thread around the ring-shaped body.

(Embodiment 1) FIG. 1 (a) is a perspective view showing a polishing tool according to a first embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 1 (b) is a sectional view of FIG. 1 (a). As shown in FIG. 1, the polishing tool 1 of this embodiment is one in which a polishing thread 12 containing abrasive grains such as diamond is wound around a ring-shaped body 11 made of aluminum or the like. The body 11 is not limited to be made of aluminum, but may be made of an elastic body such as rubber, so that it can be polished while following a material to be polished having a warpage of about 2 mm or less.

(Embodiment 2) FIG. 2 is a sectional view showing a polishing tool 2 according to a second embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 2, the polishing tool 2 of the present embodiment has a ring-shaped body 2 made of aluminum or the like.
In FIG. 1, a polishing thread 22 containing abrasive grains such as diamond is wound around a part to be polished in a state where the part is loosened. By loosening the polishing yarn, it is possible to polish while following a workpiece having a warpage of 10 mm or more.

(Embodiment 3) FIG. 3 is a sectional view showing a polishing tool 3 according to a third embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 3, the polishing tool 3 of the present embodiment has a ring-shaped body 3 made of aluminum or the like.
In FIG. 1, a polishing thread 32 containing abrasive grains such as diamond is brought into contact with only the inside of the body 31, and the other portions are all wound in a loosened state. By loosening the polishing yarn 32 as a whole, not only the flat surface but also the side surface and the like described in the first and second embodiments can be polished.

Although the embodiments of the polishing tool of the present invention have been described above, the cross-sectional shape of the body may be triangular or circular depending on the purpose of processing, the polishing yarn may be alumina oxide, silicon carbide, or the like. The diameter can be easily selected from about 0.3 mm to about 1 mm.

As described above, the polishing tool according to the first aspect of the present invention is obtained by winding a polishing thread containing polishing abrasive grains around a ring-shaped body. According to this polishing tool,
