Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce strain of a pressure tank by welding heat and reduction in corrosion resistance by a change in material physical properties caused when welding the pressure tank. SOLUTION: A flange part is constituted to be joined without welding a drum having a spherical ring-shaped upper part for constituting the pressure tank and a spherical ring-shaped bottom plate. A material does not change by dususing welding, so that the corrosion resistance does not reduce. Welding equipment is not required so that an inexpensive well pump can be provided.

2. Description of the Related Art At present, a pressure tank used in a domestic well pump is formed by processing a disc-shaped steel plate into a drum having a spherical upper portion by using a press machine. And at the top of the drum, we weld bolts for mounting the pump part,
An opening is provided for sending water pumped from the pump to the pressure tank. Further, a flange portion is formed on a side surface of the drum so as to allow piping, and supplies pumped water to the faucet.

Next, even when welding is performed using a stainless steel material having excellent corrosion resistance so as not to perform painting, chromium contained in the stainless steel material is contained in the air due to the influence of heat caused by welding. The debonding phenomenon occurs due to the bonding with the carbon to be formed, and the welded portion becomes iron and the corrosion resistance is significantly reduced.

The conventional pressure tank 7 is, as shown in FIG.
The disk-shaped steel plate is subjected to drawing using a press machine to form a drum 7a having a spherical upper portion. The bottom plate 7b serving as the bottom of the pressure tank 7 is similarly processed into a spherical shape by a press, and the drum 7a and the bottom plate 7b are welded in a watertight manner to form the pressure tank 7. Thereafter, the pressure tank 7 is coated to improve corrosion resistance. Before that, "spatter" and "slag" adhered by welding are removed and degreasing is performed, and then coating is performed. In addition, even when stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance is used because it is not painted, chromium contained in the stainless steel combines with carbon in the air during welding and causes a dechroming phenomenon. TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, in which argon gas etc. is blown out to the welding point to prevent welding
(Metal Inert Gas) welding. However, burning occurs due to welding, so "electropolishing" or "buffing" is performed to remove the burning.
