That is, since the stirring blade 31 is not stirred until a predetermined amount of water is supplied, this water supply time has no meaning from the viewpoint of removing stains from the laundry. In addition, the supplied water will permeate the laundry as it is, and in this case, the detergent that has begun to dissolve due to the start of stirring penetrates the entire laundry and reaches a predetermined level until the concentration is uniform to a level necessary for removing stains. Time is required, and in this case too, it is wasted time from the viewpoint of dirt removal.

In addition, mechanical power is added to the laundry by agitation, but the lubricating effect of the wash water that has permeated the laundry evenly and the frictional force applied to the surface of the laundry is reduced by making the agitated water flow an anti-entanglement water flow. Can be prevented from being caused by the frictional force.

As described above, the rotation speed of the stirring blade 8 is changed in accordance with the water level in the washing and dewatering tub 2 in order to prevent damage caused by excessive stirring force applied to the laundry. It is. For example, when the water level at the start of the third step is set to S8 lower than a predetermined value in order to increase the concentration of the washing water in the washing and dewatering tub 2, from the viewpoint of washing, the high concentration of water is low. The state, the so-called low bath ratio state, is a preferable state for dirt removal.

However, from the viewpoint of damage to the laundry, rotating the stirring blade 8 at a high speed in a low bath ratio state may cause an excessive load on the laundry to cause damage. For this reason, in the state of a low bath ratio, it is preferable to set the rotation speed of the stirring blade 8 low. Water is supplied into the washing and dewatering tub 2 from the time ta2 to the time ta3, and as the relationship between the laundry and the washing water progresses from the low bath ratio to the high bath ratio, the rotation speed of the stirring blade 8 becomes P1, P2 and P3 gradually increase.
