ウタシェル側の窪み溝の係止段部で受け止めることによ
って、アウタシェルの雄ねじと延長ブラケットの雌ねじ
との噛合有効長さが設計強度以下にならないように規制
しつつ、油圧緩衝器の取付長さを調整し得るようにした
ことにより、アウタシェルと延長ブラケットの相対回転
に関係なく常に両者間のねじ結合部分における噛合有効
長さを設計目標値に保って当該ねじ結合部分の強度に低
下をきたすことなく、かつ、アウタシェルからの延長ブ
ラケットの抜け出しをも阻止しつつ車両側の取付部の長
さに合わせて油圧緩衝器の取付長さを調整することが可
能になるのである。

ることによって、アウタシェルの雄ねじと延長ブラケッ
トの雌ねじとの噛合有効長さが設計強度以下にならない
ように規制しつつ、油圧緩衝器の取付長さを調整し得る
ようにしたことを特徴とする油圧緩衝器の取付長さ制限
装置。
